This is basically a user to user forum with some tmobile moderation that don't have account access so you need to contact Tmobile support using messenger on one of tmobile's social media platforms or calling them to see if they can help.
Did you check to see if their phones were compatible before leaving?
It looks like it's only 2G service if they have a compatible phone.

Roaming should work in Tajikistan. What service plan are their phones on?
