@Ave27 Is your Wi-Fi connected to your T-Mobile gateway? You should not need to restart your gateway often. If your devices get their internet access through your Wi-Fi network, and it is plugged into your gateway, then if you turn off your Wi-Fi network router then your devices will lose their internet access. 

Are you using the T-Mobile gateway as internet access? Are you using the Wi-Fi router in AP mode, or do you both devices for internet access? It would be helpful to know more about how you have it set up.
