No Port Forwarding, no UPnP, when will this be resolved?

Searching the forums this has been a problem since tmobile home internet was launched. Several Closed topics indicate customers received feedback from tmobile that “is aware and working on a solution.” Those same threads are 11 months old. When, if ever, will tmobile address the lack of UPnP, which limits functionality for most games and other streaming devices by resolving this or adding port forwarding capabilities?

As had also been discussed in some of those threads, this would require a revamping of their infrastructure to work.

Either additional layers of complexity throughout their entire network infrastructure that could preserve/enable specific IPv4 features end to end... or for a large enough block of IPv4 addresses to become available so they could enable a proper layer of v4 address space for each of us to get our own unique address.

Neither is likely to happen anytime soon.

RIPE IPv4 addresses were exhausted like a year or so ago (covering most of the eastern hemisphere)... all TMO has available atm is what is left of the time before they went full v6 in this segment of their infrastructure.
