Tmobile-->Google Nest

I have Tmobile gateway and looking to increase my wifi signal to other parts of my house. I purchases a Google Nest Pro and was expecting to be able to connect it in a distant room and that it would connect to the current wifi signal coming from the Tmobile modem/router. Is this possible or do I need to purchase another Nest to act as a point and use the one I have as hardwired to the ethernet from the Tmobile router/modem?

From what I’ve read on Google, NEST will not be a helpful MESH solution. You’ll need a MESH system that could toggle between Router and AP mode. My current Mesh System is Netgear ORBI Pro with the router set to AP mode, connected to T-Mobile Gateway via the WAN port. In addition to the router (now in AP mode), I have two more satellites to extend the WiFi coverage. (WIfi backhaul). 

Here’s, in summary, what my setup looks like:

Wireless 3 is my IOT segment where no device on that SSID can access the rest of the network
