Tindorf try moving your router to another location but don’t plug It in until you see that It says connected. Then try to connect to your computer again If not contact T-Mobile.
If your already getting a good to a very good signal then you don’t need one only add the WiFi extender If your getting a very poor signal otherwise just leave It alone.
Well I wish you the best of luck.
yes that’s partly true but If you call them about your issue your having they may come out to look at It I have a friend who had a problem and the geek squad came out and fixed the problem for them but there is a charge. But If that doesn’t work out then maybe you can talk to a computer technician If you know them and see If they can come out and look at your problem.
There is one other option you might try and that is call the geek squad and see If they can help you with your problem. I’m not saying they can but It’s worth a try to call them.
This is more of a poor device design then anything else. Others have noted the same thing that T-Mobile needs to design a better router with better hardware and more efficient software. This is a poor design of a router that T-Mobile rushed out the door. The FCC should hear about this company and how they refuse to address the problems they constantly keep having.
Well there’s one other thing you could try and that is go to a T-Mobile store and talk to a rep about your problem In person. That’s your only other option and if this doesn’t work out then you should just cancel the service and switch to someone else.
I don’t think that your router is the problem I suspect that something in your area is causing this problem and I would call T-Mobile and ask them to send out a tech ASAP to take a look at your problem in person.
well that brings it back to something has to be blocking the signal or causing the signal to be weak and whatever It is causing It who knows. If there’s nothing wrong with the tower it has to a blocked signal or something has to be causing the signal to become weak. I’m sorry but I’m out of ideas except that but good luck.
It’s possible that there could be a blockage coming from the tower but if that’s not the problem then it could be something else causing the signal to be blocked. If you tried everything like all possible locations In your house then the only other thing it can be is something has to be blocking the signal. What you could do is take your device to your friends house in your location and see If they get the same problem if so then you would know that something is wrong in your location and t-mobile needs to investigate It further.
I would to have this that maybe it’s not the device that is having problems but maybe possibly something could be blocking the signal from the tower to the router or maybe the tower is having problems with getting the signal to the router.
Yes the tech support for their home Internet service is terrible and the biggest problem I have is that they can’t speak English clearly so you can’t understand what they are saying to you. But if your having problems with the service I would recommend that you try a router and if that doesn’t work My only suggestion then is to try a different service for home Internet. For me I can about 300 to 350 for download and about say on a good day Upload 40 to a low 20.
Bill I would also try moving the device to different locations to see If that works. Try to make sure that there is no obstacles in the way like microwave or furniture and try to put the device like near a window. Also some people said that the equipment needs to be much better as they think that could be the problem.
I would still them a call and see If they can fix this If not try calling your local consumer group and tell them about these problems your having.
The tech I talked To said yes it will be improving over time this is a brand new service that is just rolling out me that they are adding more towers all the time. They said that give them time and patience things will get better. I read on YouTube that latency is all over the place but that’s to be expected and also adding a signal booster will help the tech said.
From What I have read or seen on YouTube is that it depends on the time of day and on the traffic coming from the tower. That is what I have been hearing. Remember that this is also a mobile Internet service not your regular Internet service coming from Xfinity or Verizon Fios. The speeds will vary based on the time of day.
The woman tech I talked to said that any Wifi extender is fine and that there’s nothing to worry about and that they strongly recommend using a Wifi extender so this information is misleading.
I would probably give the service a month and remember this it is a new Internet service and It is a mobile home Internet Service so I wouldn’t judge this as a poor service because I hardly think that it is.
