The interesting thing is my service with VoWiFi was also terrible, and now I’m able to make calls over WiFi too. Not sure what this actually does, but seems to be working well. 170 Mbps down, 31.9 Mbps up at home. Stable enough to use. Still hitting crazy high up and down a couple of blocks away too. Still, by now you think the network would be dynamic enough to always provide the best experience on the best bands based on connection.
@formercanuck THIS was a life saver for me. I can use the phone at home now… Thanks for posting the n71 trick.
Field Ticket: 68843477.I spoke to another representative in Technical support who wanted to go back through all the device troubleshooting. I again mentioned this is an issue on multiple devices, and therefore must be network related. Still, I let her do her thing. It didn’t help. She said the towers in my area were all fixed now and my service is fine… But, on my end, nothing has changed. Service still stinks. 2 Blocks downtown there’s a tower and my signal is amazing in that location (I hit 400mbps) and 5 blocks north another tower which hit similar speeds. Here at home in the middle of these 2 towers my service is mostly unusable most of the time. It wasn’t always like this though.
Good morning - this has been happening to me in a group with my siblings. They get removed from the chat and random numbers get added! I’m using a Galaxy S22 Ultra and I have a Samsung watch with a plan paired to this phone. Wondering if you have the same device and/or a watch paired to your phone too?I have a feeling it could be the watch phone number belonged to someone else before me, and maybe the numbers being added are from an old chat it was a part of or something like that. Here’s an example. Rob and Mark are my siblings. None of us invited these random 719 numbers to the group. When they 719 numbers joined, my brothers both suddenly ‘left’ the group - were removed. When I texted back to the group to ask who the 719 numbers were, my brothers came back and the 719’s left… it’s very odd and disconcerting that some random phone numbers ended up in my group chat with my family, and could potentially see the history as well.
