No resolution yet? Is T-Mobile listening?
i’m having same issue on my android 12 revvel. i can’t control it all, if i could at lest make it once a week that would be better than nothing. the options are their but its all greyed out. pls fix this somehow. its posting to my phone like every hour ... While we wait for T-Mobile to fix the issue, you can select at least 3 news categories that you are interested in and uncheck the rest. That will reduce the number of notifications. Note: You have to select at least 3 categories - go figure :-)
I went into the store and they were no help. It's only been an issue since the last mandatory update. I may try to chat with customer service, that takes time. In the past, their suggestion has been to go to the store🤷♀️ If you are able to chat with customer service, please keep us posted. Thanks!
Is there anyone from T-Mobile on this forum? How do you let them know? I have also reviewed the app and provided feedback on Google Play but the issue persists.
Force Stop will temporarily disable the app. It will more than likely restart automatically at some point and also will do so with every device restart. You can try to remove it with ADB but it will more than likely return with the next update for your device. Yes. I did force stop but it did restart. Need a fix from T-Mobile for this one: Just stop sending useless notifications from T-Mobile Play.
What version of Android are you running? 12
Disable button is “disabled” and not available. Appears to be a T-Mobile Play app bug specific to REVVL 5G Android 12 or T-Mobile is just forcing us to get notifications whether we like it or not. Hope they fix it.
I have the same issue. However, I did not understand the solution. I did restart my REVVL 5 and that particular notification disappeared. However, I still cannot disable future notifications. I did uninstall updates for T-Mobile Play app. T-Mobile - please fix this ASAP. It is annoying to get notifications about random stuff I don’t care about and not be able to turn them off!
Tmobile doesn't control state taxes so do a Google search for your state’s phone taxto see if your state increased the taxes. Telecommunications Surcharges and User Fees Consumer Notice(s)Beginning April 1, 2023, California is moving from six separate surcharges to one flat rate for funding California's six Universal Service Programs. These critical programs make affordable telephone and internet services for low-income, deaf or hearing impaired, rural and underserved customers, schools, libraries, hospitals, and other non-profit organizations. As a result, California phone bills will now be more transparent and include one flat-rate surcharge of $1.11 per access line. This surcharge applies to all telephone customers regardless of whether they subscribe to traditional wireline phone (landlines), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) or wireless service. For more information about this change, go to the Surcharge Information for Consumers Page.
