Per TMO gateway manual the, messages are only to notify of service disruptions so read only. If you are getting texts that require a response, not sure if those are actually coming from TMO so I would call them to make sure.

Yes. I assume you are not using your TMO router’s phone number as your contact number for your bank accounts.

No I am not using my router number for anything. But I was recently hit by scammers so it concerned me, since that I gave everything locked down and constantly checking my credit report
