You can turn off both the 2.5 and 5 Ghz bands by using a program called Hint Control. I downloaded it to my android phone and ran it from there and can turn off the wifi at will. Hope this helps. Thanks Thank you. ))
Try this: Doesn't seem to be working. I run the script in PowerShell, enter password and choose to turn off both radios. My computer stays connected to the wifi network. Any updates on this script? Or maybe I'm missing something? I sure wish T-Mobile would make turning off the radio easier. It works fine. I had entered the wrong password! Duh. I then used Hint Control program … that worked great too. ))

GOGO is a land based system while VIASAT is satellite based. American and Delta (maybe others) are retrofitting their aircraft with the satellite system (VIASAT). It’s only a matter of time before T-Mobile users won’t enjoy the included WiFi on any of those two carriers. Sad. As a frequent flyer, the included WiFi was the only reason I chose T-Mobile. Hoping something changes but I doubt it … business is business. T-Mobile great but I probably don’t need the 85$ plan anymore. //
I’m in the same boat. I switched carriers for the GOGO access. Can a T-Mobile rep jump in and provide any guidance? Once Delta make the switch, will the WiFi no longer be included on Delta flights?
