International Usage Issues
When outside of the US and using my international phone plan to dial a number to another African country, I am prompted by an automated message to enter in a random two-digit number. However, once I do that, there is a message that keeps playing repeatedly, “Congratulations, you pressed star. That does not mean you are a star it simply means that you can press buttons and probably have fingers.” This message just keeps repeating and the call does not go through. Please help!
International Data Pass- available for retired One Plus plans?
I have the +55 One Plus plan that is a retired plan with no new activations allowed, my question is, I am interested in buying a 10 day data pass for my Italy travel, I follow the instructions on how to add, go to account and click add services, however this option does not appear either on my TM mobile app or web page site. Im wondering if my plan is eligible
Still getting charged for international calls
Despite having spoken to T-Mobile reps and doing things correctly, I am still being charged for international calls. Note that I have followed all the steps necessary to implement wifi calling. STILL, I keep getting charged international roaming fees. To be fair, T-Mobile reps have rectified the situation every month. However, the issue continues. This time around, I got charged $65 in roaming fees. Why does this keep happening? I have to call T-Mobile very month which, crazy enough, I keep getting charged roaming fees for doing. T-Mobile swears that I am not getting charged but, needless to say, I am. This is exasperating.
International Data Pass not working when re-purchased
I was traveling in Europe in October and purchased an international data pass. It worked well but I ran out of data toward the end of the trip. I purchased another 5 GB (or perhaps 15, I forget). I received all the proper confirmations and was charged but I never received speeds above the 256 kbps. This continued for 5 days, regardless of restarting the phone, having 5G, being in downtown vs. countryside, etc. It was like the pass never got activated. Fast forward to December… Got to Europe again and received a text stating I had 5 GB of FREE high-speed data. Perfect. It worked beautifully. However, when it ran out, I purchased an international pass (5 GB this time). Again, received all proper notifications, restarted phone, etc. and haven’t received speeds over 256 kbps. TL:DR it seems like the first batch of international data with T-mobile works beautifully but then when I purchase/acquire a second pass… it never formally activates on the backend, regardless of what I do. Any ideas?
International roaming / India - has issues
I have international roaming available as part of plan, but phone won’t connect to internet. I am currently in a city called Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The phone connects to a strong signal from Vodafone - India (and shows all bars are up on signal anywhere in city). But, when i try to start up chrome browser, it immediately shows “NO INTERNET”. Has been consistently doing it for past few days that i have been here. The obvious checks (Mobile data, Data roaming, Network operator etc) have all been checked. So, i am starting to think that vodafone india is throttling or cheating Tmobile on their end of the deal. If not, how can tmobile give me data service here ? I need to get this working soon, since i will be india for a while…..currently, i am getting by only on wifi connects.
International data pass for traveling to Vietnam and Thailand - conflicting info
I am getting conflicting information. When you enter Vietnam or Thailand on T-Mobile site for Vietnam or Thailand it stated not available for those countries. When I asked Representative today 1-19-23 at 8:15am, he said that if i buy the international pass should include Vietnam or Thailand. I am weary about his answer because he could not tell the phone company they partnered with in Vietnam. I have received wrong answers many times by T-Mobile representatives before. Can anyone confirm what the Representative is telling me is correct. He claimed that the T-Mobile web page is not correct.
tmobile international pass in aruba
Why does this pass not work well? I had this pass 6 months ago and it worked great. However, it seems unusable now. I even tried manually choosing the setar or digital networks and I still get extremely slow internet. Spent some time with tech support, did not fix issue. Any ideas?

T-Mobile and FlyNet/Lufthansa
Does T-Mobile offer free inflight WiFi (messaging) service on Lufthansa international flights? I am specifically referring to the Magenta MAX rate plan.On the Lufthansa FlyNet app, there is a T-Mobile logo but no one seems to know if the T-Mobile service is free on Lufthansa international flights. Thanks in advance.
Using my phone in Mexico
I am a T-Mobile subscriber and I am wondering if I can use my phone when I am in Cancun, Mexico next week? If so, when I am calling back to the US from Mexico, do I need to input an international code in front of the number I am calling and will I use the ‘1’ before the number?Thank you...Neil Blincow (firstname.lastname@example.org or 310 266 9546)
Travel Internationally in Taiwan
I am currently on T Mobile Magenta Unlimited 55. I plan to travel to Taiwan for 3 months without to buy any international plan and local SIM card. Because I will not use my phone to make calls there, but I need to use my Wi-Fi to receive messages. In this case, could I get any extra charge during my stay? Thanks
Apple watch roaming in India
I have an Apple Watch SE first generation, setup as standalone line, via family setup on T mobile Magneta X plan. Our phones have switched successfully to local roaming partner (Vi India), however I’m unable to get Apple Watch to get to work, either phone, text or data. The Watch is on WatchOS 9.1 and has data roaming enabled. Cellular options shows Status as No connection.Multiple chat sessions with t-mobile rep has not yielded no results yet. They tried adding international data pass, enabling DIGITS, disabling it and putting line back to standalone line so far.I can see at least 1 bar of signal strength on Watch using explorer Watch face (phones show 3).
