international Calling within Costa Rica
I have the Simple Global Plan which covers free text, data, and $.25 per minute calling from Costa Rica to U.S. However, can someone confirm that I can make domestic calls for $.25 per minute I.e., calls within Costa Rica while travelling there? I don’t want to be surprised when returning that these calls made while travelling to local Costa Rican land lines are $3.00 a minute. Thank you.
International free text and data
I have a Simple Choice North America plan that comes with free text and data in 210+ countries … but I cannot find a single country in T-Mobile’s coverage page (https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/international-roaming-plans) that is included. Is the coverage page broken, or are the 210+ countries just a mirage?
T-Mobile international roaming does not work with my Simple Choice plan.
I have a North America Simple Choice Mobile Internet UNL Data with 2GB 5G & 4G LTE plan, that according to this article (https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/international-roaming-services#:~:text=Roaming%20with%20T%2DMobile,-Go5G%2C%20MAX%20and&text=Go5G%20Plus%2C%20Go5G%2C%20MAX%2C,up%20calling%20and%20messaging%20rates.)) should work internationally at slower speeds. However, I’m in the Czech Republic right now and I can’t get any data anywhere. At the top of my phone it sometimes shows that there are bars, however, when I go to the settings it says there is a ‘0’ signal strength.Does international roaming for sure work with the Simple Choice plan?Is there an additional APN record that I need to add for it to work?Or maybe my device is not working properly?I have an LG G820UM.

Mexico-T-Mobile Mobile Data issue on S22 Ultra e-Sim
I’ve Samsung S22 Ultra 5G with e-SIM. Plan is Simply Pre-Paid with 10GB of Data/Month and has USD$15 for International Calling, which Includes Mexico and Canada. I came to Mexico City, Mexico on 4th Feb 2023 and soon after the Plane Land, I saw the data as LTE. Roaming is On and Manually Selected the Network TELCEL(T-Mobile partner). Now the issue is I can see the LTE Icon, but Chrome, WhatsApp and Facebook are not loading. I reset the Network setting and did a Phone Re-Start. Airplane Mode was on-off, and the Data send/receive is still not working. #RON# (#766#) also tried. I also used Speedtest to see whether data send/receive happened and in Speedtest, it could not connect the Provider and Server. The call and SMS service is working Fine. I raised 2 Tickets, one after another, with Customer Service and Engineer team and they said it would take 72 Hours to resolve. But there is no resolution.#73045642, 69530200Still depend on Wifi Service and Office Verizon Mobile Hotspot

What do I need to do when traveling to Europe?
I’m trying to figure out what I need to travel to Europe and be on a cruise. I will need data to map things out, look up restaurants, access emails, send and receive texts. I have the Wi-Fi package on the ship but don’t know how to limit to use that when on ship and what I do when in ports? Airplane mode + a data package?
Unlocked phones will work overseas?
I am on a family plan where internet is free in 215 countries. I see a lot of brand new 5G phones on Ebay that are either unlocked or on Simple Mobile or Mint or Metro mobile which all use Tmobile network. Does that mean they will work overseas my with Tmobile plan? What determines workability on overseas with Tmobile plan? Is it the Tmobile software on the phone that makes it work overseas? (Some of these phones dont have TMobile software) Or is it bands/frequency of the phone? I read on other topics that FCC ID is needed to determine if it works on Tmobile? Can someone help?
International Roaming Setting
Hi,We are new to T-Mobile and will be International. I have checked the T-Mobile site and all of the locations are covered by our plan (Magenta Plus 55+). My question is what should the setting on our phone be? (We both have Samsung Galaxy phones)I am assuming that we should have Roaming turned on.
International Roaming Data being throttle too much
I’m on the Magenta Max 55+ plan. I specifically took it out because I travel a lot and was finding the normal roaming data speed of 128Kbps unusable. Magenta Max+ is supposed to give double this - 256Kbps but I never get this download speed. In the UK my phone connects to either T-Mobile or Vodafone UK depending on location. These speed tests were done with full signal strength bars and LTE showing:T-Mobile down 70 Kbps up 240 Kbps down 80 Kbps up 220 Kbps down 60 Kbps up 230 KbpsVodafone UK down 110 Kbps up 230 Kbps down 120 Kbps up 250 Kbps and it’s not just the UK. In Ireland over Christmas I got the following speeds: down 80 Kbps up 240 Kbps down 80 Kbps up 230 Kbps I understand about the phone connecting to the networks at a high speed and ‘throttling’ being performed by T-Mobile depending on plan. But my connection seems to be throttled too much and I’m not getti
charges for international dialing
I got charged 48 USD today for a 16 min call to the UK from the US. I had no idea - my plan says “simply global” and talks about 25c/min, but that is only when you are calling from outside the US.Apparently, it is 12 times as expensive to dial from the US, than to dial into the US from outside.Never mentioned in the store, near impossible to find on the website (it is tucked in at the bottom of support at the bottom of the home page), and isnt disclosed in terms and conditions in the contract.I cant find the details by navigating from within my account either.Anyone else thinks this is an unfair and deceptive practice? Why cant TMobile mention this clearly and openly, and then people will make a more considered decisionCustomer service when asked said “sometimes customers call in for clarifications” before dialing abroad, but what about all the ones who dont. and then get stung by the high bill?
International SMS to Greece not working
For some months now, I have not been able to receive SMS messages from Greece, and the ones I send do not reach them either. This is through two different devices, and a friend (who also has T-Mobile) has the same issue, and to many different numbers and carriers in Greece, so I know it is a carrier issue on the T-mobile part. Friends on other carriers in the US do not have that problem reaching any number in that country. Unfortunately, the “engineers” always come back with the same lame answer: “We have verified that the customer is properly provisioned for messaging services seeing no errors or restrictions.” Anyone have a clue if there is a way to escalate this so that they actually look beyond my account? Talking to T-Force has been the exact same loop. Thank you
By call 611 , I requested to activate international call blocking for all my lines. Few minutes later I can see all my line has feature international blocking add on.Plus, I activate charged roaming feature as well.My brother is travelling in Europe ( which include 215 Countries ) does not get signal data roaming at all. I call support multiple times, and they said “ make sure roaming is on” “ turn off and off” , “ everything clear just wait “. No luck And finally one of them told me “ I need to turn off your International call blocking add on “. As soon as he disables, my brother send me a message got LTE signal and data works as it should. My understanding the ILD (International long distance) blocking is to avoid making international calls and texting to overseas as explained on Tmobile support article as follow:https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/stateside-international-calling-and-texting-services#:~:text=We%20offer%20the%20ability%20to,us%20by%20message%20or%20social.B
International short code help!
Since switching to T-mobile I’ve stopped receiveing Two-factor authentication codes from my European bank, which means I can’t log into my bank account anymore! I’ve talked to bank and T-mobile, turned off any blocking, cleaned caches and messages to no avail. The bank says the messages are going out and there’s nothing they can do, T-mob says short codes are country specific and I should be lucky I’ve received them so far smh. Is there really nothing that can be done? Thanks
International pass not working.
I purchased a 30 day international pass for my wife’s Iphone 13 for her trip to Romania in January of 2023. I did not accompany her on the trip. She could not get it working during her visit. She had to rely on WIFI connections the entire time. We made sure that roaming was enabled and we also tried #RON# with no success. My sister in law had the same issue in February. She also has an Iphone 13. We all have the Magenta MAX 55+ plan. My wife’s phone and mine have ESIM’s but everything I’ve read says the ESIM shouldn’t make a difference. My wife is planning a return trip in April 2023 and would really like to be assured that T Mobile will work as advertised. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
International Travel - What does Magenta MAX Plans Cover?
Hello, everyone!Next month, my friends and I will be traveling to Europe for about two weeks. We will be using Delta Airlines and will also be taking a Royal Caribbean cruise for one of the two weeks. The countries that we will be visiting will include:Italy Greece Croatia FranceI recently switched to T-Mobile last week and am currently on the Magenta Max plan. While the representative that assisted me at the store was very informative, I realized belatedly that I had forgotten to ask a few questions in regards to how my plan will keep me connected during my trip. I have done a few searches on the website, but I feel like it doesn’t fully answer the questions that I have unless I am somehow overlooking it.The website mentions GoGo InFlight Wi-Fi - assuming that my flights allows me to utilize this, will it be unlimited or just one hour of usage? There would be 5 flights in two weeks, so if they all have this would that cover all flights or is there a limit to how many times I could use
French Polynesia, Tahiti, Moorea Bora Bora Coverage?
The T-Mobile site doesnt even know what French Polynesia, Moorea, Bora Bora or Tahiti are. Apparently there is coverage to some degree, but without confirmation of pricing I am leery of going there with only T-Mobile SIM Card. Anybody know what the true answer to coverage and cost are? I have a “One Plan”.
