Network & Coverage
Let's talk about our coverage, signal, and roaming experience.
recently switched to Go5G 55 , it SUCKS. Been a tmobile customer for years, unlimited text & data, had a home/landline so calls on tmobile weren’t necessary. Recently lost our home in a tornado, in Whiteland , IN had to have unlimited everything for Insurance, FEMA, diaster relief calls. Went to 1 local store, they refused to even listen said they couldn't DO anything there, except sell us a new phone/service. So we drove to another store, they tried to help but were so busy. We wanted a Magenta 55 plan, not sure what we have. But it SUCKS, I cannot have a phone conversation, it goes in & out, takes forever for a call to come thru, drops the call, a 2nd incoming call automatically goes to voice mail. I cannot complete a call, have a conversation, WHICH I NEED TO DO. Besides living thru a tornado, losing our home & car, EVERYTHING, I NOW HAVE COVID AND CAN'T TALK TO MY DOCTORS OFFICE, IT CUT OUT REPEATEDLY EVENTUALLY HUNG UP 4 times. Was happy with tmobile for years now thi
Trouble getting my texts on a Nokia X100
My phone acts like it’s on DND mode. However I’ve never used DND and have gone through all setting, including developer options, to make sure messages are always pushed through both SMS and Messenger messages. Its almost like the phone receives it but then doesn't make the sound until 20 minutes later or until I open the phone. I have replaced my SIM and have reset my network connections as well. Only other thing I can think of is that maybe there’s a receiver of some kind thats bad in the phone itself.. Any have any ideas or had the same thing happen?
Mint Mobile Technical Support Problem
I haven’t been able to use Mint Mobile outside of the US since they merged with T-mobile. But when I call Mint mobile for technical support, they tell me that they are no longer providing support for technical problems and that I need to call T-mobile for support? Is this correct? If so, who can I talk with at T-mobile for technical support with International Roaming of Mint Mobile accounts?
Tmobile is the worst carrier
I have been with Sprint since 1997 same mobile # since the day I started my service. I never had any issues. Great customer service, excellent all the way around. Tmobile merge was the biggest rip-off ever! I have no service in my community and have to drive out of the area to use my phone. I have contact them on multiple occasions with no recourse. I filed a complaint with BBB and finally got a call back. The suggested offer was a joke. They said I needed to buy a new phone a Tmobile phone, because they're only on 5G. They said my Sprint phone isn't compatible with Tmobile. My phone works away from home, yet they say the area I live in has good coverage. All I get is a bunch of nonsense excuses and no resolution. You can't even take your phone for repairs because Tmobile has stopped instore repairs. You have to file a claim and mail your phone in for rapairs or replacement. Tmobile is the biggest rip-off ever!
i dont recieve the majority of texts from people and sometimes i can't receive calls either. Anybody have an answer for this months long issue?
On and off for 3 YEARS now I have been having issues with incoming texts not being received. sometimes I will receive one with no context, not realizing that its one of several that I just never got. People think that I'm ignoring them when in reality I had no idea I was being messaged at all. This happens with both text messages and with images that people send me. Sometimes it even happens with calls. In those instances my phone won’t even ring and the caller gets taken straight to voicemail. I have called T-Mobile multiple times, they have kicked me from the network and re added me to see if that would work and replaced my SIM. this seemed to work for a day and then back to the same issues. normal customer service can’t figure it out. I have tried 3 different phones and it is all the same story. This happens regardless of location and whether or not I'm using WIFI. I just want my phone to work. Its affecting how I communicate with people and is unacceptable for a paid service. Is th
help with mobile data
About 2 years ago I had a one plus 8t 5g, it was working fine I was able to use every app without problems but it suddenly stopped working properly. I can go on Google and look things up I can listen to music on SoundCloud and I can look things up on the map. However, I can't use Instagram, Netflix, and I can't even look at my mail it seems that I can't use most apps but I receive notifications but it will not load unless I'm connected to a wifi. The problem is I got a s23+ recently and itself still doing the same problem. I went to tmobile already, the first time they switched to a new sim card and it did not work the next time I went to tmobile they just told me I had data saver on but it's currently disabled. I'm lost and it doesn't seem tmobile knows what's wrong.
International Internet Throttled to Rediculous Slow Speed
In past trips to Québec and to Europe, I do remember receiving a message from T-Mobile that my allowed high-speed data had reached its limit, and speed was being cut. I don’t remember to what speed, but I never noticed any difference. In a very recent trip to Québec I received a message after there 5 days that my 5GB of high speed data had been used up and I was being throttled back to 2G speed. 2G SPEED!!!! This quickly became useless as my navigation app couldn’t even keep up. In frustration I paid for an extra 5GB, but that was used up in less than 24 hours. Is this a change with T-Mobile?? If so it really sucks eggs!! Cutting back to 3G would still be workable, but 2G?? VERY unhappy!!
Customer Service via Phone Only
I’m switching my service over to another provider because T-Mobile coverage in my home city is spotty and inconsistent. I wanted to help y’all out by reporting where the poor coverage is, but you only allow me to contact you via phone call, which is inconvenient as hell. Since you can’t be bothered to monitor an email address, I’ll just post it here on my way out the door instead of allowing you time to fix your coverage and keep a customer who’s been with Sprint and now you for 21 years.Emeryville, California. Particularly in the 65th Street & Shellmound area. You’re welcome. Fix your customer service and coverage and I may come back someday.
No Coverage in Inspirada Community in Henderson, NV?
My partner and I made the switch to T-Mobile from ATT with high hopes that the change would be worthwhile…..So far, it’s been less than satisfactory with one main concern of ours. It was advertised on the coverage map that we’d have both LTE and 5G in our area with no problems whatsoever, Not only do we receive one, maybe two bars at best in our own home, calls will randomly drop out anywhere while I’m out and about. It’s honestly infuriating considering we are living in one of the largest cities in the nation and can’t seem to have a decent phone call without the call dropping…. Can T-MobIile PLEASE fix this issue?? I'm sure we’re not the only ones experiencing this issue….
no service day 2
Since around 9 am 5/28, we have had next to no coverage. We have a total of 11 devices including home 5G. Have not been able to make or receive any calls on any device. Connection speeds on all devices less than 1mb. Friend of daughter also has t-mobile and same issue at the house. Have had to drive 2 miles down the road to make calls and contact t-mobile. They say everything is okay on their end. I have a t-mobile business account as well as personal account for family. Regardless of account we have zero service. We have not had anything more than 1 bar on any device. 5G intermittent. We live .7 miles from the tower and 1.1 from the next closest tower. We are in the Charlotte NC area in the 28215 zip code off 485.
Does T-Mobile really support RCS?
My wife and I just got new phones from T-Mobile: a Moto G 5g, and a Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. Both were set to send messages by RCS by default. No such messages are ever sent. If I check the status, I always get “waiting to connect.” I tried setting “Switch from RCS chats if a message can’t send,” but after a few minutes it still shows “waiting to connect.” I had to turn off RCS entirely to send a text message. What’s the problem?
$5 with TMobile Money
I’m just curious. I have 5 lines on Magenta and been getting $25 discount ($5 per line) each month. If I enroll with T-Mobile Money, it says I can get $5 discount “per eligible line”. My questions are: 1) What is an eligible line? 2) Will I get another $5 discount on top of the discount I’m already getting?
Under-appreciated Service Member
My brother is currently deployed with the Army for 9 months in Poland, and we have the T-Mobile military plan. It’s very disappointing and disheartening that we are receiving bills over $500 for international charges associated with my brother just trying to call his family back home. I would think T-Mobile would have more respect and less greed for my brother being deployed and wanting to call home. 😞😞😞
I have 100 Gig of unlimited data on my account. My Question is, is that per line or total for all my lines? I have 7 lines but only 6 are smart phones? I am thinking about upgrading to the Go5g Military Plus for all my lines. I kept my old phone from AT&T and don't have access to Tmobile 5g Service since I think the phones don’t accept the frequency T-Mobile uses. So I am trying to see what perks are for going from the Go5g to the GO5G Plus for Military and where it says a new phone every 2?
