This is strange the only difference I see is my hardware 3TG00739AAAB and your is 3TG00739AABA. I also tried the app on my Chromebook and it works there too. ??? There is another person reporting the something as you, Maybe someone else can try and report back.
My gateway was upgraded (without any notification, mind you) to 1.2103.00.0338 a few weeks ago. No major issues with the internet service per se, but now the Home Internet app fails to show the list of devices attached to the network. I know my way around computers and can find workarounds, but this can be a big annoyance for most average users. I am also on 0338 and using android phone, I am seeing my devices, it’s showing the connection better, but I still can’t edit them.
Sounds like a bad battery or a loose connection, the good point is your gateway doesn't use the battery for anything and it might run cooler. The battery is use to test your single strength before you plug it in. If you want it to work you will need to call and get a gateway replacement. If you are up to it you could open the bottom and check the connection point.
I am using a BrosTrend AC1200 WiFi Extender, my back door camera was losing connection and I also need to use a RJ45 connection for my home security system. it uses a EXT after the 5 or 2.4 so you have to connect to it if you are moving a laptop around but for a fix item it works well. My house is a ranch about 2200 with a basement. the gateway is on one end of the house and the extender is on the opposite end of the house.
I have spent about 5 hours today trying to set up a Ring Pro 2 doorbell to my T- Mobile 5G Internet Gateway. The Ring device keeps telling me I have no internet connection - which of course I do. On elevating the issue with Ring technical support, they believe that T-Mobile is blocking the port which Ring uses because of the small print in the T-Mobile Terms and Conditions which says that their service may not be used for “applications which are designed for unattended use, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections” which would seem to cover things like Ring and any other continuous home video monitoring. If this is the case I will have to cancel my T-Mobile internet service and go back to plain old cable. But I think T-Mobile (and Ring for that matter) should tell customers upfront that the two are incompatible I don’t think this is right, I have my house security system, 3 cameras and my garage opener all on TMO gateway, no problem. Have you try resetting it lik
Glad to hear that. Thanks for letting us know.
When you first set up the gateway you change the password try admin and your WAP key, if that doesn't work or the password on the bottom of your gateway. I don’t know anything else you can do but to reset your gateway, if you do just keep the same SSID names and keys and you will be good to go.
This post needs to stay on top, I also need a static IP addresses. My IP changes daily without rebooting. My located is always right. T-Mobile are you listening.
I just check and it’s working I have the same Firmware version: 1.2103.00.0338, My router is 3TG00739AAAB, I am also using Android 12, with the same App 2.6.2
