Hi. The last month or so, a problem is occurring - the gateway/modem shows 4 bars and has been sitting there for well over two years now. Randomly, I keep getting disconnected from a game server, remote sessions halt, streaming audio stutters, everything. I also have phone calls (from Samsung S22 Ultra) disconnect on me if the phone is using wifi mode for phone calls. If I disable wifi on the phone, phone calls still remain stable. At least for now. I sometimes still have issues with audio stuttering in regular 5G mode, and even testing a game server I got booted off with an error citing connection loss. Whatever it is, the loss is brief since connection comes back quickly. Speedtest shows low ping and low jitter, which surprised me. I logged into the Admin console. Is there an option to switch from 5G mode to 4G, just to rule out some possible causes of this? That sounds dumb since I have 4 bars on the modem and 5 on my phone (which generally connects to the modem’s built-in wifi
Hi! I received my final bill and am told autopay will occur. Is that going to be the case? Thanks!
Hi! I want to give my Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 to a friend on another network. When I logged in to my profile, TMobile says the watch is locked and to call support to get it unlocked.I paid off the watch a month ago.I called T-Mobile’s phone support;’ phone support staff told me the watches are not locked. I think the support person was right, but I want to be sure. Using TMobile’s imei checker, it says they cannot determine the status, probably because the watch is already connected. Is it true that watches are no longer locked carrier-locked after they are paid off? Why would the TMobile app still say it’s locked? Thanks!
Hi! I noticed overnight (2AM) that my network connections had failed; I’d see the wifi icon on my phone with a little “!” next to the wifi logo instead of the usual ‘6’. I went to reboot the router and the Nokia gray cylinder gateway and noticed the battery recharge icon was blinking steadily. The battery percentage was at 78%. Internet /wifi connectivity was restored... I looked back at about 6:45AM as I saw the “!” on the phone again, and it’s still steadily flashing “recharging” and the percentage was still 78%. Since moving a couple devices directly to the gray gateway instead of through the router, then upping the Transmission Power setting to 50% (When I set up the unit I changed it to 12.5%, the lowest possible value), I noticed there’s no longer any wifi connectivity issues. I’ve had T-Mobile Home Internet for a couple years now and everything’s been great; this week’s been the first time any major issues cropped up. But the “battery stuck at 78%” remains as of the timest
Hi! I am trying to activate my new Galaxy Watch 5 phone this morning, replacing the Watch4. Paired with my S22 Ultra phone. I get to the point about setting up a mobile plan from the phone. I click on “sign up for mobile plan”… I then get “Webpage not available. The webpage at https://acms.msg.t-mobile.com/acms-entry-points/gll/activate could not be loaded because: net:ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED”. I reset the watch and tried again. Same problem. Anyone else having problems activating?
Hi! This AM I received two weird test messages from the TMobile app. The first read “test” for the subject then “test’ for the message. On an old device, I saw a second test message come in as well - same subject and text but also had a little blue folder with black up arrow inside it. Is this happening to anyone else?
