They don't give 2 about anything other than money. Customer service has got to be the most ignorant set of people I've ever had to encounter. They are extremely rude and back talk you, talk over you and insinuate that you are lying. After 22 years with them, our family is leaving for another carrier. We have had enough. Lie after lie after lie. Most disrespectful company I've ever come across.
They are an absolute joke.
They have used the 'we are currently upgrading your towers' lie for 18 months now….18 months. They don't know what they are doing, I think this is obvious. When you no longer employ people that have knowledge on the job at hand, you have a show like we currently have. I have talked to easily 100 different people with them, MAYBE, and this is a big maybe, there were 2 people that actually knew what they were talking about that pertained to the telecom industry and networking. For instance, a few days ago I told them I will be leaving tmo for Verizon and she tried to over talk me with her script, saying that I would have the same experience with them because they use the same towers and equipment and they also use the same bands….are you kidding me? I had to hang up.
Going to make no difference, no one is going to push against TMobile or any TELECOM at this point. They recently got into 'trouble' for their misleading ads and that is why they had to change their slogan. They will receive nothing more than a slap on the hand. The fine print clearly says that service is NOT guaranteed, this allows them to sell sell sell with no repercussions. They lobby politicians for a reason.
First… TMobile doesn't guarantee service anywhere. I've been down this road many times with TMobile, At&t, and even Verizon. Recommend filing BBB ticket for escalation, and possibly your PUC , followed by FCC. TMobile escalation will help you get ported Appreciate it!
No service mode on and off, nr registration failures over and over. Thanks TMO.
Seems since the John Legare stepped down the company has been going through changes. The new CEO and board are not as energetic in keeping the company in the frontlines of new ideas. T-Mobile seems to be drifting into the iceberg with no one at the helm to change the course. I have been a long-time customer with T-Mobile. I was very happy when John was at the helm of the company. I have my family and friends on one account. Slowly my friends and family are peeling off to other companies with better customer service and honesty. The customer service agents in the Philippines promises discounts which never happen on the bill. You try to call into customer service only to be discounted after dealing with the agent for 30 minutes with 20 minutes being told of how you are going to be given excellent customer service. Very unhappy with T-Mobile phone and home internet service 100% In the same boat. “Great service at that address!” You will have 5g access blah blah blah. I can't even ma
We too were lied to about coverage where we live, clearly shows highspeed 5g and LTE on the coverage map, reps confirmed as well. For 18 months we have been stuck in this bs limbo game of never having service, tkts over and over are closed before 24hrs of opening it with no logs, no explanation other than 'service working'. Was working fine until they pulled the Sprint tower and started putting up their own equipment out here on the 3 towers that service this area. Found out recently that my rural town has a contract with Verizon….so how was tmobile able to sell me service at the address provided? Then, this past week, our phones continue to go in and out of sos mode/emergency only calls, back to no service mode, then it connects for a few, then back to sos mode… can't change carriers at the moment, not for another 5 months without incurring ridiculous charges. Verizon claims some eligibility issue so they won't pay to port us. Just fed up, fed up of politicians pulling in money from
Is this something that occurs all the time in most areas, or randomly. I.e. I have full bars, but no data. I have seen/had many apps show up this year as ‘No Service’ even when my phone shows 5G UC. Sadly, I toggle airplane mode, and its back to normal. Ironically, I have some apps that are running (streaming audio) while the app shows ‘No Internet connection’. Android bug or NAT GW on T-Mobile’s network… or both. It's T-Mobile's CGNAT doing that. Huge issue with ipv6 only network when you have all of your non-business customers using private ips so that they can share ipv4 addresses.
T-Mobile is 100% overselling yet again. The issues with ip versions are because ignorant TMO continues to have a crap CGNAT system that does not properly translate ipv6 to v4 and vice versa. 99% of the time I have to turn off and back on until it properly connects me to a tunnel for ipv6 to v4. It has been over 2 years now that ive had TMO and this issue the entire time Ive been with them. They don't care and are never going to care because they can't get it right and are more worried about grabbing customers from other companies than actually providing a NAT service that works. I'm honestly surprised that no lawsuit has ever happened because of this. My guess is because the Business customers on T-Mobile DO NOT have CGNAT and are givin real public ipv4 addresses instead of this crap with ipv6 to v4 translation. The majority of the world still does not have ipv6 tables setup.
