For some reason, the Google search app is no longer displaying correctly. It's like the search results are "visually" truncated after 1 1/2 screens of information. For example, I searched for "blueberries" in the widget. Google app opens up and displays the first page normally but when you scroll down, it stops. You can see from the screenshot below that everything stops after Syracuse.com. I think something happened with the Pie update. I have tried the following:Cleared Google app cache and data.Cleared entire phone cache.Uninstalled Google app updates.Reinstalled Google app.Checked and rechecked app settings. This happens whether I am on wi-fi or mobile data. It also happens if I start the search from the Google app itself rather than the widget. If I search from the Chrome app in the URL bar, Chrome displays all the expected search results correctly.Any thoughts?
My gf and I both have S22 Ultras. For the past 24 hours she has been getting hundreds of messages that look like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><imRevoke xmlns="urn:gsma:params:xml:ns:rcs:rcs:rcsrevoke"><Message-ID>Mx7B-iNkNgR-WiZx8PL1bAHQ</Message-ID><result>failed</result><From>sip:+[her number]@msg.pc.t-mobile.com</From><To>sip:[my number]@msg.pc.t-mobile.com</To></imRevoke> Any ideas on what is happening? Thanks in advance.
Hello All. I have great news. My Google Messages RCS is finally working. Here is how I did it, please read this very carefully. Read my original post in Recommemded Answer green color above link. You must disable chat on all previous devices by going here and (on bottom of this site) follow directions: https://messages.google.com/disable-chatThen you must TURN RCS CHAT FEATURES OFF in GM and wait exactly 10 days.If you turn RCS ON before 10 days are gone, the clock starts all over again for 10 days. You literally have to be patient and wait 10 days with the RCS OFF for 10 days. After 10 days, turn RCS ON and you will see CONNECTED !!!! I repeat to you again, STEP 1 is: You must deactivate all prior devices' GM phone number associations by following the bottom instructions on this site: https://messages.google.com/disable-chat and if you get error message like: contact your carrier or you requested code too many times, disregard it. Then STEP 2, TURN RCS OFF FOR 10 DAYS in GM and wait 10
I am not getting text messages from Chipotle anymore. I was getting them back in September but now they stopped. I contacted Chipotle and they said everything is good on their end - to have my provider enable the short codes. So, how do I enable the short codes?
My wife’s LG V60 ThnkQ has either a screen proiblem or a faulty proximity=ty sensor. This manifests it’s self in this way. Numerous times during a a call her phone seems to drop the call. I can no longer hear her but she can hear me just fine. It’s gotten to the point that I just calmly say your “Check your phone” and a few seconds later she will come back and I’ll be able to hear her again. It’s gotten progressively worse since we got the phone. Today, a 3 minute conversation it happened four times and made the conversation twice the length it needed to be. Basically the damn screen just turns on and her cheek will mute the call or call somebody else or who knows what? I have seen references to this issue on Reddit and here as well but if there has been a solution nobody says what it is.Here is the real problem: She works as a therapist for the city in which we live working with people at risk of all sorts of calamities and really cannot have a garbage phone with non working bits, th
I keep receiving sms messages from short code number with the following text: Configuration Notification. Your MMS Service Settings have arrived. Open the configuration message and save the settings. the messages never contain settings or an attachment which I would not have trusted anywaysI have received them from the following short codes: 909, 5129, 5126, 5128, 5127. I'm using a one plus 3t and I have verified I am using the correct messaging settings as per https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-2090
I got a new Moto G7 Power this past Monday July 29 and ported my number from Verizon. Since then my new phone refuses to load Twitter or the US Bank app over wifi. At first I thought it was my home WiFi having issues but when I was out and connecting to other hotspots I found that those 2 apps will not connect via any hotspot, only on 4G/LTE. Additionally I found that Amazon also will only load on 4G, not on any hotspot. I un-installed and re-installed both apps 3 different times, rebooting my phone between each time. I have never had this issue with any other phone over the 9 years of having smart phones. I have to use WiFi a lot more now because the T-Mobile signal at home is almost non-existent compared to Verizon as far as data is concerned. So far voice calls have worked but data crawls at about dialup speed. Speed tests are very slow on download and upload tests usually fail completely. Why would a brand new phone refuse to connect certain apps over WiFi?
I have a Samsung S10. When I try to change the notification sound from the T-mobile default jingle, it works for most of the app notifications. However, the default jingle still plays with every new Gmail and text message received. How do I specifically change this sound?
When will the Galaxy Note 20 support esim because, recently the Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 got this feature via OTA in the US. I found this thread - https://samlover.com/2022/06/18/galaxy-z-fold-3-and-galaxy-z-flip-3-to-support-esim-and-dual-sim-dual-standby-dsds/
I don’t have a wifi calling icon on my status bar on my s22.I can confirm wifi calling works because when I pull down the status bar to the notification panel it tells me i’m using t-mobile wifi calling (when I’m on wifi).I’m not using the embedded ESIM, I’m using a real simcard (because I like to play with different phones and you can’t do that with the ESIM).So what I’d like to know isIs anyone who is using the ESIM seeing the wifi calling icon on their status bar? Is anyone who is using a physical sim card seeing the wifi calling icon? Does anyone see the wifi calling icon?Like I said, I’d like to know if it’s a carrier issue, a sim property issue or a samsung bug.
It was announced over a year ago Today John Legere sent out a Tweet saying that T-Mobile is “saying yes to FM chip” and that the magenta carrier will “push our OEM partners to support!” The Tweet is in response to a campaign from NextRadio, a mobile app that lets you listen to radio stations on your smartphone, that called for T-Mobile customers to let Legere know that they wanted a working FM chip in their phones. John Legere ✔@JohnLegere Hey @NextRadioApp – We heard you! We’re saying yes to FM chip and will push our OEM partners to support! #sayyestoFMchip11:02 AM - 14 Aug 2015
Hi, From couple months ago after I updated my phone from Android 10 to 11, my camera has stopped working. Any apps that uses camera will crash right away. I’ve read online that several other people who had this issue was able to resolve it by going back to older android versions, but unfortunately the t-mobile version GM1915 does not have a local update option and therefore no way to downgrade the android version to an older version. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if there has been a way for them to mitigate this issue some how? Thank you.
My husband has always used a flip phone but is now ready to try a smart phone but I am nervous about it and not sure what to get him. I started with a Blackberry and then have purchased IPhones ever since so I need to be able to help him but don’t want something too difficult. Any suggestions?
I am interested in buying the Google 6 Pro. Can you tell me what’s the best deal either through Google or T Mobil? I’ve read that T-Mobile offers spot deals that are better than the normal ones. If that’s true, can you tell me what and when they happen?I’m looking for the phone model with the best photo quality. I’ve read the Google 6 Pro is known for this. Are there any other models you find have excellent image quality? I have a OnePlus 7 Pro and I’m unhappy with image quality.
We’re upgrading my dad from an old 3G flip phone. His SIM card is the large format so it won’t work in the new phone. The Samsung Galaxy S22 arrived today from T-Mobile and didn’t come with a SIM card. Do I need to get a new physical SIM card for it or will the built in eSIM work?
