T-Mobile play in the app selector have been sending me notification and have been downloaded without my permission or my initiation several times this week and I have uninstalled them several times and they keep coming back on top of that Facebook an app that I haven't used since 2014 keeps being downloaded along with these two and I want to know why or this will escalate because this is a massive violation of privacy.
I am not getting text messages from Chipotle anymore. I was getting them back in September but now they stopped. I contacted Chipotle and they said everything is good on their end - to have my provider enable the short codes. So, how do I enable the short codes?
A notification popped up on my phone today about Game Spotlight. Finding no other option to discard or disable this message I did the “tap to set it up”, hoping to see a way to disable it. After tapping the option to “Never” set it up, I now have the same set up message and a “check it out” message tha tis 4 times in size!!I have no intention of using this service. How can it be bypassed or removed? Or maybe it time for a new carrier?By the way, my 611 call was a huge waste of time. What happened to real people for support?
For any site I visit (desktop or mobile version) that has a 2-step authentication and sends out a text message with an access code, I don't receive that message on my phone. I do receive texts from other cell phone numbers. And I can see the messages on both the standard message app that comes on the Samsung, and the Google app that I mostly use for texts.
There’s a group ABOVE my favorites in the contact section of my text messages that’s called “Chatbots” with a contact called “Search for Chatbots.” When I click on it, I get a warning that it’s a T-mobile product, not a Samsung one, then it brings up a search feature which doesn’t seem to have any results.I’m curious what this was supposed to do, but what I really want to know is: How do I remove this?
A while back, I was using a security/antivirus app provided free of charge by TMobile. To the best of my knowledge, it was available for installation/use on all my lines on my account.I've found references to Lookout Mobile Security, but that is not the software I'm referring to. If I recall correctly, it was either a McAfee product or a Symantec product. Any idea regarding what I'm referring to?Thank you for any help!
When I send a text message to a certain person my text messages show Sent as SMS via Server. I have not changed anything on my phone settings or message settings. It only happens with one person and no one else. How can I fix this or turn that off. I've turned off my sent, delivery and typing notifications. Anyone else having this issue? I have the Galaxy Note 20 and they have Google One, I believe.
So I bought a new samsung a71 5g from the tmobile store almost 2 weeks ago. Love the phone overall but the signal is getting me under 3mbps download and maybe 5mbps upload speeds in places by old phone was pushing 30mbps. Also the wifi calls drop all the time and then data service goes in and out. Here is a photo showing full 4g bars at Ontario airport for example and there is no network connection. Is this a known issue for this model, is there a fix coming? I am about to return the phone to the store honestly.
My phone powered down without human initiation and is now stuck on the T-Mobile screen. I am not sure if it ever fully powered down when he became stuck or if it became stuck when it tried to power on. Either way it is stuck on the screen and I cannot get the phone to turn on or off. Please help. I have had a horrible day with T-Mobile and this is just adding to my frustrations.
How do I get rid of the voicemail notification on my Galaxy watch? I have gone through my voicemails on my phone and deleted them all. I tried calling the voicemail from my watch notification and it just hangs up without calling. I even tried calling the number for my watch (which does not work). And the notification is still there...3 months later. At this point, it is just annoying. I have no voicemail and can't delete the notification on my watch, it says "Received on Watch" so nothing on phone's voicemail makes a difference, and it does not clear when I clear all the other notification on my watch. I just want to get rid of the notification.
This started on one family member’s V30 yesterday and another today. This affects more than one LG model.Obviously T-mobile has changed something in the network.See this thread here: I have tried safe-mode, Disabling mobile data. Etc, etc. including all suggested on the internet and above thread with no success.I would advise against making any changes until an official response is issued from someone with sufficient knowledge to understand what network-wide changes were made and explain how to correct the problem or how T-mobile intends to correct the problem.I worked this issue for more than 8 hours today!
So I had been thinking of upgrading my Galaxy S7 to a newer device, but I recently dropped it and the screen cracked a little from one of the corners. I'm fully aware that in order to fix it I have to pay $175 and I'd get a refurbished S7 but I was hoping I didn't have to pay that if I could upgrade my phone regardless of its condition.
I am having a huge delay in sending a picture via text message. At times it takes twenty minutes at others it takes ten minutes, and that is if it sends at all. Regular texts go through right away. The pictures i send are ones i take, or screenshots so they aren't very big. This very annoying, does anybody know what I can do to fix this? It's only in sending, I receive pictures from other people with no problem.
