5G Wifi Issue
I have had my router for about 5 months. In my rural California town, I got 4 bars on the router and that gave me around 15 to 20 MG in SpeedTest.About 4 weeks ago, someone started vandalizing/stealing copper cable somewhere up the line. As a result of their thievery, all ATT and Tmobile internet, cell and landlines in the county would go down for about 24 hrs until the issue was fixed. This happened five times. Now, my router goes from 4 bars to two bars every hour or so with very slow speeds. When that happens, I reset it and the problem is fixed for a short time.Any ideas of what I can do?
False Coverage Map
Has anyone else noticed that T-Mobile’s coverage map is misleading and flat out wrong? Part of the reason we joined was due to their claim of having full coverage in a part of Wisconsin. First time we were there we had zero service through T-mobile, and we ended up on a AT&T network. That then treated our service as roaming and did not allow for us to use data. I proceeded to call T-mobile and they confirmed their map is wrong and they use a roaming partner (AT&T) there and “appreciated the feedback”. Despite that, they haven’t corrected the issue. Seems like a false claim T-Mobile should be held accountable for. Anyone else come across this? And did they report this to any regulatory authorities? @tmobile-admin
No voice service: Temporarily turned off by your carrier
I've been receiving this notification multiple times over the last two days. I looked online to see how to fix it. I've tried restarting my phone, checking the SIM to make sure it's in place, and turning on/off Airplane Mode. It's still showing up on my phone, and I noticed that my mobile data doesn't work when it does (no phone calls or internet when I'm not around wifi). For reference, I have a Motorola One 5G Ace. Can anyone help with this?
Can't receive data when on 5G UC
New Pixel 6 Pro. Worked fine for first few days. Now when the phone shows connected to 5G UC, I can not receive any data or connect to internet. There's an exclamation point in the notification area. If the phone shows just 5G or LTE them I can receive data. Tried resetting all networks and still won't work on 5G UC band.
Lock onto a single tower or boost signal?
Is there a way to lock onto a tower and not have it hop around, or any other methods to pull a signal from a specific tower? I have 2 towers close to me, and my tmo home internet bounces between them. I live within a mile of both. My home tower gives me, on average, 150mb down & 40mb up (sometime much better: 300/60). No issue with that. The issue is that the other tower gives me less than 1mb up, usually ~0.4mb, ALWAYS. This one is further away but only by maybe a half mile. It's so bad that you can't even use wifi calling because it can't upload the packets quick enough. I can't use my normal phone calling when on that tower, either, as it has the same issue as wifi calling (garbled or robotic sounding to the other person). Additionally, the speeds are virtually no better on phone data when connected to this tower. I know exactly which cell (31026060598018) and band (66). I've reported the issue to tmobile multiple times, filled tickets, but they always say everything is green a
I'm in northern New Jersey, just across the Hudson river from NYC. I just moved here from western NJ and figured to have at least decent internet coverage/reliability. I have neither. The buffering, freezes, and general disappointment is souring me on T-Mobile's home internet. It's a shame because I'm more than satisfied with their cellular service. My timeline for waiting for improvement will be the turn of the year.
Texts not received from Verizon friends and family
We have been with T-Mobile for a little over a year. All was well until about a month ago when my wife realized that texts from her sister were not coming through. Then there were other people that called wondering why she had not replied to their texts. And then more. All Verizon customers.Group text messages would make it through, but individual messages to her would not. Of note, my wife's phone number is the only phone number that was a new addition when we moved to T-Mobile. All other lines were ported over and are apparently having no problems...knock wood.I called into tech support about ten days ago and spent hours clearing caches and resetting things on her phone. They escalated it to their engineering department and promised me a call back over and over until there was no response whatsoever. A week later, I called in to follow up and went through the same process. All the same clearing and resetting. And again issued a ticket to engineering for review. That was two day

Speed vs Capacity
I just spoke with an HONEST tech about my problems over the entire time I have been a customer. We had a candid and fruitful discussion about speed vs capacity (bandwidth). Finally, someone honest and sincere at TMobile! Too much marketing and money $$$!!!! has, is, and will be spent on convincing customers that speed is KING> it is NOT. Capacity is. Bandwidth is. Your top SPEED in a Ferrari may be 200 MPH, but if your track (CAPACITY) is 30 ft long … all that speed is useless. You will plod along at regular or even SUB PAR speed. Marketing has ruined 5G and the entire market. Wake up people. Demand capacity first! Wonder why you can’t get consistent speeds, and the network is down all of the time? Well, it is not speed that is the issue. It is capacity. That unlimited speed Autobahn your traveling on at 150KPH just hit a traffic jam of more people than the road can handle! You are going nowhere fast. In fact; sometimes you will get nowhere at all. Turn off the engine and camp f
Having trouble connecting my Laptop
Hi everyone,I'm having trouble connecting my Intel Evo laptop to my mobile hotspot. I've tried a few things, but nothing seems to be working. Here's what I've tried so far:Restarting my mobile hotspot device and my laptopForgetting the mobile hotspot network and reconnecting to itRunning the internet connections troubleshooterTurning off antivirus protection software and Microsoft Defender FirewallDespite trying all of these things, I'm still unable to connect to my mobile hotspot. I'm using an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201, and I've seen some posts online about similar issues with this device. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, were you able to find a solution?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!Stella
Chromebook Go, connects quick to LTE on boot, then drops connection less than 1 minute. Often requires me to click the icon to disable then re-enable, and wait, adding 5 min to boot time.
Chromebook Go, connects quick to LTE on boot, then drops connection less than 1 minute. Often requires me to click the icon to disable then re-enable, and wait, adding 5 min to boot time. How can I fix this? Its a brand new. Why is it doing this? This Chromebook is my 4th in the past 6 years, I like it for everything, except it useless to me with LTE and if I lose my LTE connection 1 minute after I boot then takes minutes to restore, is it crippled this way on purpose?
Possible recourse for no service at home
I have had T-Mobile service for 3 years at the same address, which has always worked very good. Starting about the middle of March 2023 my phone service stopped working at home. Have been contacting T-mobile about every 2 weeks and have tried to get a credit for service only and i have been informed that the tower is down and they don’t know if it will be replaced and i am getting service they would expect when the tower down and there is no service so they are not obligated to give a credit for service under those conditions. I would like to do a factory reset on the phone and give it back to them, is this possible?
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max problems or issues!
I have dropped calls, texts, FaceTime, or call, text, and FaceTime failure on my phone. I have 1, 2, 3, and 4 bars on my phone indoors and outdoors in some areas because it depends where I go or where I’m at. I get 2G or EDGE on my phone sometimes. I have no cell phone service and reception on my phone sometimes.
