No SMS/MMS texts being sent

Having problems sending texts from my Android phone.  I can receive texts from other people.  When I send, it shows as sent but the text never gets to the recipient.  Other texting apps such as LINE and WhatsApp work fine.All phone software up to date, I tried turning Airplane mode off/on, powering down the phone, and resetting APN to default.  Nothing works so far.  Been stuck on hold with T-Mobile support forever now and their live chat is down.Would very much appreciate any suggestions or help.Thanks!

Intermittent Incoming Calls Going Straight to Voicemail with No Ring

I have several issues with T-Mobile’s network:On occasion incoming phone calls go straight to voicemail without my phone ringing, showing a missed call notification, etc.  If someone leaves a voicemail it can sometimes take an hour or more before I get the voicemail notification (but it still does not even show that an incoming call was received). 2FA messages intermittently do not come in.These issues has been ongoing for several years for me; and each time I go through the myriad of troubleshooting steps, only to have my devices blamed as either needing an upgrade or being third party devices. This makes zero sense, as the phones do work as intended immediately following me placing an outgoing phone call or by restarting the phones. I’ve been tasked with working on call at work, and I have missed some very important phone calls from my team and boss. Because of this, I would like to get to finally get to the bottom of this issue and have it resolved.

texts not received from other carriers

Hi! I have been a T-Mobile customer for approximately 2 weeks. When I first transferred my service from Verizon, I was receiving all of my text messages. Two days after switching, all texts stopped from people outside of T-Mobile. I can send text messages and people receive them but I cannot receive text messages from anybody with another carrier, and I cannot receive MMS messages from T-Mobile users. When I contacted customer service, they directed my issue to engineering who responded that I needed a new sim card. I went into the T-Mobile store, got a new SIM, which did not make my text messages push through. So, they thought that it was a device issue and I purchased a new Pixel 4A. The issue still is not fixed. When I re-contacted customer service, they put another request for the engineers. My text messages pushed through approximately 3 to 4 days later. Then I stopped receiving messages again and it was pushed back to engineering. A few days after that all of my text messages cam

Tombile SIM not working in India!

I have a tmobile sim card which I am currently using on an Iphone X. I am not Getting any reception since last 2 weeks. No network bars available.- Contacted customer care and made some network settings with them still doesn't work.- Selected manual network (Vodafone and Idea) and also kept on automatic network selection for a while. Still not working.- Indian Sim card works perfectly fine in the same phone.- Tried Tmobile sim card in Samsung S9, shows couple of network bars but unable to make calls or incoming calls. Says (Not on registered network)I have used tmobile sim card 1 year ago while Roaming in India in the same area and it worked perfectly fine. Now I am totally frustrated. I have interview calls lined up and other stuff and I am unable to do many things.

'E' instead of 5G or LTE

The flip 4 was working fine until a few days ago where I see E on the signal bar and no more 5G or 5UC.  The issues is that when I see the ‘E’ my phone network disconnects easily and I have 2G data, which is frustrating.Called T-mobile and they said there was a ‘modernization’ happening where I live.  I am about 100 miles away from my house and I am still getting that dreadful ‘E’.  I have cleared cache, reset network, reboot, manually select carrier, cleared cache in sim-kit apps to no avail. this phone was working fine until 4 days ago.  Please help

Using an AT&T branded LG B470 on a 2G network with T Mobile?

Does T Mobile still support 2G phones or older phones and their 2G network? Is the LG B470 from AT&T still supported on T Mobile’s 2G network? Can I use the LG B470 from AT&T on a 2G network with T Mobile? Do I have to call AT&T Customer Service, go to the AT&T store, or use the AT&T website to get a unlock code from AT&T and unlock the LG B470 for T Mobile?

Network Congestion

I would like to know if there is a way to modify the home internet gateway to run with 4g data rather than 5g? Yes a bit backward question I know, but the T-Mobile home gateway I have is clearly suffering from oversold 5g network congestion at the cell tower. There are just too many 5g devices being serviced and not enough capacity. I have been on the phone with tech service now for hours over several days. All of my equipment works amazingly well. The techs are even able to boost the speed of the gateway to levels I am really surprised by. The problem is those levels drop significantly a couple hours after ending the call. My wife has an older phone with 4g speeds. She turned it into a hotspot and it works very well and consistent. So my conclusion is the gateway is struggling to break though and maintain speeds on a 5g tower that just cannot service the demand. I would like to switch the gateway to 4g if there is any way that can be done. I tried logging into it, but I do not see a s

Recently, Ive been getting only 2 bars

Before, the signal was great, always staying at 4 bars. I don't know what happened within the last couple of months. The maximum amount I can get is 2 bars, connected to my wifi or on LTE. Sometimes I even get no service. Ive tested my internet connection online and it always says that there's nothing wrong. What can I do to get the 4 bars again?

S22 Ulra RCS Not Working Properly

S22 Ultra is having RCS issues. I can send chat but everything I receive (from known RCS users) is text. Chat Features shows as Connected. I updated Carrier Services as well.Any ideas?

Cellular Data Dropping While in Transit

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue. I'm hoping yes and that there's an easy fix. I find that often, though not always, data connection drops while I'm traveling, possibly when switching towers? My phone will read 4-5 bars, LTE service but phone has completely lost all data connection. It's easy enough to fix by switching airplane mode on and back off again. Data comes right back, but it will remain shut off until I do this. It is incredibly annoying. Turning airplane mode on resets my tether/hotspot connection so that has to be redone as well which is extremely frustrating if trying to do something as simple as work from a train.I rarely am on the phone (i.e. on a call) when this issue occurs but the few times I have been I will also lose the call. Or if I have switched towers and have yet to enable/disable airplane mode, when trying to call my phone acts up and will freeze once I try to place a call. I have to wait for it to unfreeze, toggle airplane mode on and back off and t

Dual eSIM on iPhone 14

Does anyone know, definitively, if one can have two TMobile lines on an iPhone 14? Today, I have an iPhone with a physical SIM and and eSIM. Both are TMobile lines — what Apple calls “cellular plans”. I had to return an iPhone 14 because a TMobile store could not transfer both lines to that new iPhone.  The support site is (as always) confused and out of date. “Experts” I contacted online are anything but.  I’m surprised that TMobile hasn’t has enough time to consider this use case and provided details to customers and staff on if, how and when this can be done — or if it’s not possible.

I am about to give up on TMobil

Like many of you, I am not satisfied with TMobil's cell services.  After nearly two years and many conversations with Customer service agents I am about to throw in the towel and move back to Verizon.  I should add that I moved to TMobil out of frustration with Verizon and dazzling TMobil advertisements.  My experience is like many of yours, poor reception and poor data services even when my phone shows 5 bars of 5G.  I wonder if the phone is misrepresenting actual signal strength.  I tried everything, phone reboots, signal boosters and even spent $600 on a better phone.  The signal is awful on all three phones on my plan.  My only question is, how is TMobil making all of their "best network" claims when so many of us are unhappy?

roaming notification pop up

I have data roaming off, no matter if it's off or on I'm constantly getting a pop up for it. I've searched online and apparently this pop up cannot be shut off. Is a fix coming for this? It's very annoying.

Why charge a upgrade fee?

I know when you go to a store to purchase new plan or upgrade phone they charge you a 35.00 fee for each phone you upgrade. When you plan on doing 4 or more phones that fee should be waived or adjusted to a flat fee of 80 or 100.00? But what if you do it online through the website and have the devices shipped to you. Does that fee still apply? I am trying to way out my options before I upgrade my currents devices?  Its not tike they have to do much work. The Phones transfer all the info for you. All the store reps have to do is scan the new phones and the required info for their service to know what phone you have and what line its too. and then the Samsung phone will switch all your information over tot he new phone.  Thank You

iPhone was blacklisted by Verizon and got it removed from the blacklist

hello all.         So my vexing fiasco occurred on june 20th, 2023. I went to work by subway. when I got to my stop, I noticed my phone network status bar had said SOS. I tried restarting the phone. After restarting the phone, the status bar still displayed SOS. I then just thought T-Mobile was having an outage. it was a headache because I had plans that day to meet up with friends later in the afternoon.        later on I checked my other line and called other family and friends who are T-Mobile customers, and confirmed that it wasn’t T-Mobile’s Network. it was indeed the device having an issue. I did call T-mobile customer care to troubleshoot the issue. this involved network resets, e-sim reinstalls, physical sim installs, going in and out of airplane mode, turning off and on cellular data, and ultimately a factory reset. T-Mobile escalated the issue with management, but never heard back. I was with 1 week without my main line not connected due to the device not connecting to the ne

I got a Samsung unlocked S22 Ultra and have the esim connected to my T-Mobile account, but it only shows 5G my wife right next to me has her tmobile zflip 3 that shows 5G UC. Is UC not available to unlocked devices?

Alaska Coverage

I am going to Alaska and would like to know more about the coverage. I already checked the coverage map and it indicated that there is "partner coverage". I also read that the partner coverage is provided by roaming on AT&T's network. Has anybody else been to Alaska and can confirm if it was decent coverage? Is there a charge to roam on AT&T's network? I read someone else's question posted here and one answer was contradictory regarding pricing. The answer stated calling is free but then it said calling is .20 per minute so I'm curious which it is. Is there anything we need to do to ready our phones (iPhone 6plus and Samsung Note 4) to be able to use the AT&T network? Thanks for your help.

T-Mobile Home Internet shows 4 bars but keeps dropping signal

Hi.  The last month or so, a problem is occurring - the gateway/modem shows 4 bars and has been sitting there for well over two years now.  Randomly, I keep getting disconnected from a game server, remote sessions halt, streaming audio stutters, everything.   I also have phone calls (from Samsung S22 Ultra) disconnect on me if the phone is using wifi mode for phone calls. If I disable wifi on the phone, phone calls still remain stable. At least for now. I sometimes still have issues with audio stuttering in regular 5G mode, and even testing a game server I got booted off with an error citing connection loss.  Whatever it is, the loss is brief since connection comes back quickly. Speedtest shows low ping and low jitter, which surprised me. I logged into the Admin console. Is there an option to switch from 5G mode to 4G, just to rule out some possible causes of this? That sounds dumb since I have 4 bars on the modem and 5 on my phone (which generally connects to the modem’s built-in wifi

List of Tmobile partners in Europe

Does anyone know where I can find a list of T-Mobile partners for reach country?  I ask because I will be on a cruise line that has its own tower, and I plan to do manual connections to the correct T-Mobile partner towers when I am near the ship so I can avoid the usurious prices cruise ships charge when roaming on their towers.

I got a text from the number 456, saying that i had been roaming off network which violates some T-Mobile terms and conditions and if i dont stop, my line will be cancelled…. I live in Alaska and I just want to know if this is a scam or if anyone else has had similar issues?

What is going on with the S20???

I came to the forums to see if I could find anyone else having the same issue, and sure enough, I found a bunch!   Got my mother an S20 FE and she has had nothing but problems with it.  Calls don’t come through, texts are delayed by hours or don’t send or deliver at all.  It is intermittent and completely random.  Samsung says it is a T-Mo signal problem. Unacceptable for a 74 year old woman who lives alone to not have a reliable device or service.   I had her switch to LTE/3G/2G network mode and we’ll see how that works.  There’s no reason the service should not work as intended on the 5G/LTE/3G/2G mode.  This is a new phone from T-Mo with the latest 5G SIM.  Regardless if there is 5G service in the area or not, people should not be having these issues.  It needs fixed! @tmo_mike_c  GALAXY S20 G5 disruption with txt and calls / not wifi or cell data related and many other issues | T-Mobile Community (t-mobile.com) Samsung s20 Fe doesn't stay connected to 5G for more than a min, HELP.
