I’ve noticed that Samsung S21-S23 are on T-Mobile’s servers for RCS messaging (AKA Google Messages). But there is an update from T-Mobile’s twitter account posted on 9/21/23 that they will be migrating to Jibe. Any idea or ETA that these devices will migrate.
I just replaced my screen at a repair shop in Greece after I dropped my phone. Since returning to the US, I cannot access 4G or 5G, only the Edge network and WI-FI. I have:Cycled airplane mode on and off.Cycled data enabled off and on.Verified data saver is off.Enabled and disabled roaming.Wiped cache partition.Verified the phone is updated.Restarted my phone after each event above and below.Verified no outages in my area.Reset my network settings.Verified network settings.Replaced the SIM card.Started my phone in Safe Mode.Performed a factory reset of my phone.I assume that my antenna is broke, the repair store didn’t say anything about it and I didn’t return stateside until about 2 weeks later. My international plan didn’t show the network before and I couldn’t tell a speed difference because of the plan I have. I don’t want to have to replace the antenna only to find out there is something I missed or I need to replace something else instead. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello, when launching the tmobile app on my S22 Ultra it is on the tmobile logo and on the bottom says "Setting you up" I cannot get past this screen. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times let it sit for 20 minutes plus nothing seems to be working. Restarted phone cleared cache. Please help!
Alright, so around 1 month ago I switched to my boyfriends plan on T-Mobile from Verizon. We ordered a Samsung S22 Ultra and once it arrived we set it up. They gave me a new number but we intended on transferring my number from Verizon. That ended up taking around 5 hours so in the mean time I used the new number until it was all switched over. During the time using the new number I was able to recieve MMS messages from anyone with Verizon as their current carrier. Once my number had fully transferred on my new phone I could no longer recieve MMS messages but only from Verizon. I could and still can recieve MMS from all other carriers except Verizon. Also Verizon users can recieve my MMS messages with ease. Sometimes when a Verizon user trys to send me an MMS it will send as a link that takes me to the internet to a log in page which I have zero login information for. Other times it doesn't show anything. I will attach a screenshot as well of the link. I have spoke to Tmobile regarding
I just got a new Samsung Galaxy A14. When I use the voice to text feature it spells out the word “comma” rather than giving me the obviously intended “,” in the sentence. So so incredibly frustrating. My old Samsung never used to do this.Anyone else having this issue? Is there some switch I need to flip in settings? Gotta wonder how many people want the word comma spelled out - ever. It’s so frustrating comma maybe I should stop buying Samsung phones period
My T-Mobile doesn't even show up when trying to connect a device. I've had to enter everything manually for each device. I couldn't get my old Roku to work, so I got a new one. Still nothing. So I tried the onn brand at Walmart. Google TV. I had to manually enter everything, but it connected. My personal cell phone wouldn't connect, but my work phone did. I ordered security cameras a few weeks ago, and they won't connect at all. I've tried everything suggested on here. I went with T-Mobile to save money. Now I'm spending, even wasting money on things I can't use. How does that happen
Would I be able to get a new phone (Galaxy S23+) with the add a line promotional discount, and then swap my current phone (Galaxy S10+) with the new phone so I have the new phone on my current number and my existing phone on the new number?I don’t see anything in the terms of the offer that indicate the new phone has to be on the new line, but maybe I’m missing something. If this would be technically allowed, what sequence of steps would I follow to achieve this? Thanks!
I just got my OnePlus 10Pro finally updated to Android 13 this week, and found a few extra T-Mobile bloatware apps on my phone, like AppSelector, Device Manager, Global Search, Kid Space, T-Mobile Diagnostics, T-Mobile Play, and (worst of all) MCM Client. These are all things I don’t need, and am not able to uninstall them. I can’t even disable most of them. I can force stop them, but many of them come back.Today, I got a notification from MCM Client that it had installed TikTok on my phone. I guess it’s good that I was told that T-Mobile installed a major security risk on my phone, and I need this to stop. How can I get this crap off of my phone and be the only person who has control over my phone? T-Mobile is going to have to pay me an enormous amount of money for me to go along with this. Unfortunately, I got this phone on a payment plan, and I will never, ever do that again. It’s not worth the sacrifice of security and privacy. So, how do we get this stopped?
OTA update to Android 13 fails every time.Accept update Download update and optimize phone When optimization completes, Tap ‘Restart Now’ Phone reboots 4-5 times but never gets passed initial V60 boot screen Finally completes reboot to home page and a message that says ‘Couldn’t install system update’ - Tap to learn more Explanation simply says ‘Installation problem’Does anyone have any idea how to get the upgrade to complete?
I have had the Samsung Galaxy A7 Lite tablet since January 20 and only recently tried to use the camera. The camera will not open. I tried other camera apps and did a factory restore of the tablet. The base app doesn’t open. The downloaded app would open but show a camera error. Running a diagnostic shows there’s an issue with the camera (front and back) but offers no solution.Am I out of luck?
I got my Pixel back at the end of Sept of this year, I went from IPHONE SE 3rd gen to Pixel, and I NOTICED that sometimes images don't go through with my pixel 7.I'll go " SOOOOO, what do you think about the picture / video, funny huh?"And the person i'm talking to will reply " What Picture / Video?"I'll look up and the picture will have like a timer / stop watch looking icon under it.Some times it eventually goes through, or just stalls and sits there with the little stop watch under it.I am not sure if its because I have to use WIFI CALLING ONLY at home?I am wondering if I should shut RCS mode off for now and just let pictures and videos be sent as via regular SMS / MMS messages, where I know for sure they'll be sent without a problem?TIA!
Just got my elderly Mom a new phone but it didn't come with a super fast charger. Are there relatively good quality fast chargers out there? Id appreciate any suggestions including where to buy.Prefer to just go pick one up instead of waiting for an online purchase. Thanks!
