Hi all,I've been having some issues with my S9 that is currently using Oreo 8.0 Build R16NW.G960USQU2ARC6The only issues that I am experiencing currently is with the Delivery Reports, read reports, etc. for Text and MMS. I have the option enabled but I never receive any delivery reports regardless of the other phones carrier. I have already tried factory reset, and since my phone is unlocked, I've even tried it with another carrier sim card and it's still not working. I also tried it with and without WiFi turned on.I've heard that Oreo 8.0 has a lot of bugs (although I do not what type of bugs) that will hopefully get fixed with Oreo 8.1, but unfortunately, TMO is one of the last carriers it seems to push out the latest updates when they become available so it may be some time before I'll know if my issue get's resolved or not.Is anyone else with an S9 experiencing this issue? If you don't know, but you have a S9, can you test it yourself and let me know?I'm not having this issue on m
Hello after updating to Android 9 sometimes I can not send a photo in a text to one person only without restarting phone. It starts sending and then says message not sent try again. Trying again produced same result. I can however send the same image to anyone else without doing anything. But to get it to send to this person I have to restart my device. They are also on tmo with a galaxy note9.Lg v40Lg messengerGboardPurchased from tmoFull signal 4g lteHave tried deleting the conversation, restoring apn to default, and clearing cache. The only thing that seems to work is restarting my device. This however is a poor solution and never use to happen. Any ideas?
Brought over my unlocked s6 that was on Verizon and everything works fine on the t-mobile network except for MMS. Can't participate in group messages or send pictures over text. Have tried 3rd party texting apps like textra and Messenger but did not do anything to resolve
For at least the last couple of weeks (I'm not 100% sure when it started), I have stopped receiving some of the texts sent to my number. I still receive some texts from people but I definitely have been missing some. The messages I've missed aren't from a singular carrier or from a singular phone type (apple vs android). I haven't been able to pinpoint in what scenarios I miss messages but it's getting old very quickly. I've tried restarting the phone a few times since but hasn't made any difference. Checking shows no available updates. I've tried correcting this by trying to purchase a V30 but apparently Charlotte hasn't gotten a single phone in yet...
OnePlus 6T.RCS is enabled in stock messenger.File size is set to up to 10.24GB.Video is only 70MB, but is "too large to send."Have tried All Files size, original, and Best Available as well.Best I can do is 720p at 20 sec.Still compresses the file into less than 600KB.What am I missing here?
BYOD from Verizon to T-Mobile. I brought my S9 and my wife brought her S8+. Lot long after the port-in process was complete, my wife's S8+ downloaded the T-Mobile app and the look/location of the status bar icons changed to the T-Mobile 'motif'; my phone hasn't changed at all. When I go to update software, it was telling me my device was not authorized, but now it says the device is up to date. However, the Verizon apps are still there and won't uninstall and the Service provider SW ver. is: SAOMC-SM-G960U_OYN_VZW_OO_0077 (notice the VZW) and the last line in that section reads: VZW/VZW/VZW. My wife's phone has a last line of TMB/TMB/VZW (notice the TMB). Called T-Mobile and got completely clueless reps that claim "once it's a Verizon phone, it's always a Verizon phone!" Really?, then explain my wife's phone that I purchased from the same Verizon store a few months earlier. The Samsung website says that once a new SIM is installed that the old provider software would be uninsta
Every half hour I get a popup message. It says “T-Mobile keeps stopping” and below that it has “App info” and “Close app” first one takes me to the app page where I can do a “force stop” (yes I tried that and it doesn’t stop the popup) second option just closes the popup. Then it comes back a few minutes later. This is driving me nuts.Things I’ve tried: restarted phone, deleted and reinstalled the appI have a OnePlus Nord N200 5Gandroid version 11Model DE21184GB RAM, 64GB ROMused 64 GB storage and have 37.24GB leftAnyone know whats going on?Just noticed I’ve used 64GB in storage and I have 64 GB of ROM, could this be it even though I have 37GB left in storage? Not tech savvy, which I’m sure is obvious!
I have a Galaxy J7, Unlimited plan, sending MMS over the network with all the default settings (checked them all yesterday) When I send a picture or pictures as MMS to anyone else regardless of their phone or network, it gets reduced from X MB to about 85 - 175kb. I can see exactly what they are seeing, by looking in my Sent folder. I have to email the pictures or videos to people every single time which is an absolute joke and not able to do this reliably (I don't even have all my contacts email addresses and would take ages to send messages this way, but I've been doing it a few times because I'm forced to.) 85k isn't even web quality, Facebook probably reduces my pictures posted around a few hundred Kb. This is much worse. When anyone sends me an MMS with a picture it's crystal clear. On my phone, any pix you've sent unless it's a close up, if you try to look at fine details or zoom in anyone's face it's all jagged or blurry.
My family downloaded the new android 8.0 update on our Samsung galaxy j7prime phones and now our batteries charge very slowly and as soon as it comes off the charger it drains really fast. My phone was at 45% and was on the charger for 5 hrs to only find it at 70%..How do we fix this!!!!
My Galaxy s8 is having trouble with a particular texting group chat since the pie update. I could send a couple pix, but not word text msgs. I tried exiting the group and restarting the chat, but a pop-up tells me the chat is already closed. I can't recreate the group for texting. I restarted the phone twice and 2 other text groups I checked are working fine, as is texting the individuals.in the problematic group. I cannot find any helpful info to resolve it online.
Are there any tablets folks have used that work like a phone to make and receive phone calls. Not talking about voip whatsapp or Hang outs or Skype. Basically an LTE device fully functional with a in built dialer that one can insert and use their t mobile voice sim card into.
Hi,My 250,000+ corporate employer just blocked all corporate network access to Android Phones without the most recent Android SPL 2019-8-5. Can we get this rolled out ASAP on Galaxy S10+? When can we expect it? Apparently the security issues found were so risky that Corporate IT acted immediately/urgently to require it (normally there's a rolling 1 to 2 month window after Google releases to require the fix). I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy S10+ on TMobile for this very reason --staying compliant on the corporate network--so I may end up returning the phone if this isn't addressable in a timely manner. Thanks for your consideration and help.
Hi, I recently bought a Sprint branded LG V50 which works reasonably well on T-Mobile. I found out that the phone will no longer work after Jan 2021 because Sprint/T-Mobile is not porting VoLTE and WiFi calling over to the device. So much for the un-carrier. When I called Customer Service, I was told I have to buy a new phone. I just bought this one. I do not get why I should have to pay for another phone. Is anyone out there in a similar situation? Is there a remedy?ThanksPete
Hello,It has been a LONG while since I have seen T-mo carry a decent Samsung tablet (i think S2 was the last?).They skipped the S3, but I saw a couple of 3rd party articles saying they might carry the new S4. Can this be confirmed?I have the OG Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and it is showing it's age (still runs vids like a champ) but I would REALLY love to upgrade to the S4.And no, I will NOT use an ipad. Thanks!Woo
I'm finally moving from Windows Phone to Android. A couple of my priority criteria are which brands (Samsung, LG, Motorola, etc) have the least bloatware, and which get OS updates more frequently and for longer lifespans? Can manufacturer bloatware be removed or disabled? If T-Mobile strictly releases the OS updates, is it possible to install Android updates independently like with Windows Phones? Other factors are battery life and integration of MS services, such as email and OneDrive. I appreciate any feedback, especially from ex-WP users.
Samsung is currently rolling out Android 12 to Note devices including the Note 10 series. But Tmobile doesn’t list this as any state in the process from dev to testing to complete. Is Tmobile not updating the Note 10+/10? I would be very disappointed if Tmobile didn’t continue to support phones that manufacturers are supporting as well as their competitors.
A week ago, there was buzz on the internet regarding the LG V60 Android 11 update, with a T-Mobile rep saying the update would start being pushed out on the 22nd. So what happened? The device page says its still in testing phase, how long does it take to test a phone, and when can we reasonably expect the V60 to get Android 11? This is beyond crazy that a modern phone made by a modern company, and sold by a modern company cant get timely updates. Its frustrating.
I have the global version of the one plus 9 pro and have always stuck to tmobile firmware cause I need wifi calling/texting. Just got the android 12 update today. Now my phone thinks its always charging even when not plugged, battery drains twice as fast, no 5g, no wifi calling/texting. Also my bootloader is unlocked but the phone is not rooted. Anyone else having these issues or have any ideas on how to fix them?
