iPhone 12 Pro Max on T-Mobile Essential NCC family plan. After updating to iOS 14.5, cellular data won’t work. It doesn’t matter if it’s connected to 5G or LTE, or at whichever signal strength. It doesn’t have internet access. I can only make phone calls and text. I have tried network reset, factory reset, and reinsert sim. I even went to the Apple store to have my phone replacement eventually. However, the issue persists on the new phone as well once after it was updated to iOS 14.5. Only solution for now: is downgrade to iOS 14.4.2 or earlier. (As of may 3 Apple has stopped signing iOS 14.4.2 or earlier)Also, other people in my family plan with iPhone 12 models updated to iOS 14.5 have the same cellular data issue. There are several people on Reddit reporting the same issue as well. All currently on essential plan. Reddit post Hopefully T-Mobile and Apple is working on a fix!?Ps. The most recent iOS 14.5.1 doesn’t fix this problem.
I used the trade-in offer for my Iphone X 64GB for the IPhone 12 Pro Max in retail, which the product was mailed to me a week after. The same day that I received the new phone, I had dropped the trade-in phone (IPhone X) to USPS. On December 2, my tracking depicted that it had arrived at the warehouse.A week later I never got the rebate I was told I would receive and I decided to call them. They said there would be an investigation in which 5 days later (December 10) I received an email that they did not have any information that they received the trade-in. I clearly did return it, so what am I supposed to do now. I am still receiving messages that I have to return the phone despite messaging the team multiple times. All their responses were to wait. This is making me go insane.

My voicemail messages are recorded correctly and the transcript is shown on my iPhone normally (Select the Phone icon, then the voicemail icon at the bottom). However, they also get sent to me as a text message (SMS). How do I stop the texting? Having the voicemail recording is sufficient - they’re normally just spam recordings anyway.
HI y'allFor the past few days I can't connect to data at all and get pop-up saying "PDP authentication failure" On my iPhone4.I can still call and do sms.I have North America plan and in Canada for couple of days. I come here quite often and there was no issue before until few days ago.Ive done couple of thing trying to fix this including-Switch on/off-Sim in/out-Update to latest OS-Restore iPhone-Hard reboot-Switch roaming carrier-Check APN I put my SIM card to other iphone and still getting PDP error so it's not a devise problem.Called customer support but no solutions what's so ever. My account is in good shape.One thing that comes to back of my mind is, I receive SMS from T-mobile saying they have implemented some extra feefor Prepaid customer.... blah blah,,, and since I'm on monthly plan (I was with prepaid plan before) I thought it's weird and eraced the text.So it could be technical glitch on account problem? please help.
Right after upgrading my iPhone 12 Pro Max to iOS 14.6, I have lost cellular data. I called TMobile customer service technician who sent me to the store. The store representative replaced my old SIM card with a new one and talked with a technician on the phone for half an hour, still couldn’t solve the problem. I reset my 12 Pro Max to factory setting, unfortunately, the iOS stays at 14.6. I have to put the SIM card to my old iPhone Xs Max on 14.4 and use my old phone. Is there anyone else having the same problem?
I paid off my phones a couple of weeks ago. I called and requested to have or phones unlocked on Friday. I was told it would be 24 hours and that I would get an email 24 hours later. I didn't so I called again. They told me they didn't knowwhy I was told 24 hours. When in fact. It's 5 days...... so I called again yesterday to askwhat the hold up was. Now they're telling me it could take 14 days. And that itsbecause apple is the ones who unlock the phone... can I call apple directly? i dont get why it's taking so long 😠
Hi,Is visual voicemail available on T-Mobile Connect? Trying to set it up from my iPhone and I get this error after putting in a 4 digit passcode: “Voicemail Unavailable. Could Not Authorize Access” I was able to set up voicemail by pressing “1” but can’t get visual voicemail to work.
I'm having the same issue. I am texting a simple code and its keeps giving me this message. I need it for a volunteer organization that I am working with. Our family recently transferred to T-mobile. We all have iPhone 12 Max. Since transferring to T-Mobile all of our voicemails we receive are also being “deposited” into our texts.I have searched the internet, T-mobile site, and this community trying my. best to find out how to stop this from happening.Does anyone know how to stop this. It is filling up my phone storage!
I have been having serious issues with Apple Watch cellular plan on T-Mobile. When my phone is on cellular, Even if I have 3 or 4 bars of reception, doesn’t matter, I cannot do anything that needs data. It just says, no internet connection. In cellular under settings it shows plan as T-Mobile, status: no connection. Interestingly, I can make calls on my watch over cellular, but no data connection. I have had discussions with different T-mobile reps, including senior technical support assistants, but no solution so far. I also talked to Apple support, they run a remote diagnostics on my watch, and I was told that nothing was wrong. I tried unpairing, deleting the watch and pairing again, removing the cellular plan and adding again, doing a network reset on my iPhone, unpairing and pairing back the DIGITS number associated with my Apple Watch. As soon as the ios 12.0.1 update was complete for my iphone 7s all my wireless calls have been dropping. To date no wi fi calls have dropped. It almost looks as if as soon has the signal status has changed from full to something else(3,2 or 1 bar) the call drops. Last night I had a call drop 4 times in about 3 minutes.
Hi, My Iphone X is not receiving all group texts or they all come later in waves. My friend has an Iphone 6S and has the same issue. Today we had a group text with 4 people. 2 on Iphone and 2 on Android. I receive both android and one Iphone but have a delay from the Iphone 6S. Seems to be random every day it is a different group text that is delayed or never comes through. This makes accurate communications very difficult.
