how to view clients connected to tmobile router

I connect to the tmobile router.   I can change the name of the wireless network, but that’s about it.Is there some management portal that’s hidden?   How can I view the clients that are connected to the router?   How can I change the native local address range?

Swapping out Gateway Procedure

So my gateway took a dump and just keeps rebooting over and over.They are sending me a replacement should arrive tomorrow.Has anyone swapped one out before what is the procedure?Swap SIM’s?Log into annout?Anything special to do before powering up?Looking at my account I still see the old gateway so there must be a procedure to swap?Thanks

Chamberlain MyQ garage door opener compatibility

So I took the advice of a few of you and connected my old router to the Gateway. The MyQ door opener connected right up to the old router. I guess you can’t hardwire another device to the Gateway but you can connect to the router down line. Everything works fine. Thanks to those who figured it out.

My Q Camera connection issue

I have a MyQ camera to use in conjuction with the MyQ garage door oper app from Chanberlain. I have been using the camera for several months w/o much issue but when I left my old ISP (Cox) for T-Mibile 5G the camera connected and worked for several days just fine. Then about 5 days after I switched to the T-Mobile 5G Gateway, I lost connection to my camera. The garage door app still works just fine though just w/o camera connection. I have tried everything I know including several rests of the camera, powering down the camera and trying to reconnect but I get as far as connection via bluetooth to my Iphone but when it tries to connect to my wifi network it just doesn’t connect. Does anyone have a solution?

Has anyone else needed their internet gateway replaced?

(I apologize in advance for the novel. I rarely use forums, but figured I’d try this out!) So about an hour and a half ago, I noticed the wifi was down. I checked my gateway, and saw that it had kicked off every device in my house. I did the “troubleshooting” via the site, but to no avail. 😭 Then I called customer service for the home internet. After 30 more mins of troubleshooting, the customer service guy told me to factory reset it, via the lil button above the Ethernet cable port. Did that, and then the gateway started acting wonky, and would not stay on. I’d have to hold in the on/off switch, for it to boot back up. Though when I’d release the switch, it’d just turn back off. So the customer service guy concluded that it’s not my surrounding cell towers, it’s the gateway itself that needs replaced.I will add, that, of course AFTER I got off of the phone, I was fiddling with the gateway more; and got it to turn on. At first it had my SSID I assigned it, and my phone connected auto

I guess this will be my last month with TMobile internet. The signal strength is good, but the service goes in and out plus they can't seem to connect me to a tower in my city. 🤯

xbox onex

My Xbox 1x has become a paper weight. I can't open any games or even play online. I can't make it my home Xbox. I can't do anything on it. Is there a way to fix it? Or should I just get rid of the home internet and get another provider? My PS5 on the other hand works just fine.

T-mobile Gateway

My internet service was pretty good when I first got it. Now trying to watch TV, it does a lot of buffering.  Sometimes it takes 45 - 60 minutes to watch a half hour. There are only 2 bars (weak signal). What can be done to fix this issue? I was wondering about an extender or I've  seen something about adding  router. Any help is appreciated

Finding 2.4 T-Mobile SSID

I am using the faster speed (5.x) on my T-Mobile account, however the T-Mobile tech guy indicated to use the 2.4 speed as it is faster and more reliable, but I do not know the SSID password.  How do you get it?

Using T-Mobile as second WAN on Asus RT-GXE11000

Does anyone have this setup running? I have Verizon FiOS 1 Gbps service for my primary internet, and I wanted to use the T-Mobile 5G Internet in a load balance setup. I get very good speeds where I live (630/120). Has anyone had luck with setting this up?I should note, I have the home gateway that does not allow disabling the WiFi network, so I’m expecting I’ll have to deal with a double NAT situation. However, as long as I connect to the Asus WiFi, I would assume that it would be able to access Verizon and T-Mobile?EDIT: Sorry for the typo in the title. It’s the Asus GT-AXE11000.

5G Internet

Okay so I’ve had my home internet connected for a few days now and everything was working fine. I came home and my router is still on and still showing devices connected and that it is connected to internet and yet my Wi-Fi is not working and all of my connected devices say there is no internet. I already went completely through the process of reconnecting the device and that didn’t work. Kind of a frustrating process to have to do multiple times a day to stay connected. Anyone else having this issue? What can I do

Mac won’t auto configure ip

My Mac won’t auto configure using DHCP. It just gives me a self-assigned ip that won’t connect to the internet.Do I need to manually enter ip info for call support? I don’t know what numbers to enter.

TMobile Network shows up and my Vizio Smart TV recognizes T-Mobile. It ask for a Passphrase. What is the Passphrase? I typed in the password and it is WRONG! WPA2 Passphrase? Who knows?

Does the NOK 5G21 Gateway have a bug in the LAN connections?

See this for an intro: I have reason to suspect a problem or bug when a device is connected to a LAN port, It see regular intermittent “No Internet” status. Yet other devices connect to the gateway over WiFi seem very stable.Could this really be a problem that has not been noticed before? seriously?I’m no stranger to this, I studied electronics and telecoms, and have worked in software for decades, I’m not as up to date as I could be by I’m also far from being a novice…A wifi connected Windows Surface displays a connected icon in task bar all the time, But the LAN connected Windows PC shows the globe symbol repeatedly as the connection is lost and reestablished.So what I thought was a gateway issue, loss of 5G signal etc, looks now to be nothing of the sort, it could be a problem in the LAN manager part of the gateway...

Pulse Secure VPN - Keeps dropping every few minutes

Hello Everyone, I have been using the Tmobile Home internet for about 2 months now. My work VPN is very important to work from home. My laptop is provided by A organization and I am deployed on a project for B organization. The B organization uses Pulse Secure VPN and so I need to connect to it to access B organization’s system.  It has been working fine for 45 days but now all of a sudden, the VPN keeps disconnecting every few minutes. Gateway device - NOK 5G21Hardware version - 3TG00739BSoftware version - 1.2104.00.0286 My worked with IT  tech team of B organization for VPN issues, they checked the log and informed “the host checker is timing out and so the VPN is disconnecting - since my laptop is provided by A organization, I need to work with A organization to resolve the issue” When I connected to A organization IT Team, they are not able to help.  Can anyone please suggest how to resolve the issue ? Thanks in advance.

Purchasing a used Gateway

I have a Nokia gateway and I have seen several for sale on eBay for $100 or less.  I may be wrong but I believe you just move the Sim card to the new device.  This would allow one to add external antennas and make changes without worrying about damaging their box.  Let me know what you think and if T-Mobile would even allow you to do that.

wifi thermostat connection to home internet

I installed T Mobile home internet and all my devices work with the exception of NV Energy Wifi thermostat.  I have split and set up the 2.4 and 5 bands.  So far I have disconnected and reconnected my T Mobile connecting wifi lights on 2.4, tablets, Alexa, but not the thermostat. S ok meone suggested connecting Netgear Nighthawk router, but I cannot get the router to connect up with T Mobile internet, so this solution failed. TMobile home internet has been great except this one issue

5G Gateway N1, any way to enable webfilter or change DNS?

I’ve seen some older articles on this, but the GUI of the 5G Gateway N1 is very limited, is there any way to update the DNS settings on this device so a service like OpenDNS can be configured? Or is there any service provided by T-Mobile to configure a webfilter type service?

Intermittent Service t-Mobile 5G

I just received my 5G gateway and have set this up. I’m a software engineer with a solid knowledge of electronics and telecoms but I’m not up to date with latest stuff.Anyway I have the device setup, we also have ADSL but I want to explore 5G so I subscribed to see how it behaves.I have a single PC cabled into the gateway, nothing else in the house communicates (yet) with the gateway (my phone does talk to the gateway over wifi to inspect it, but that’s all).I got a 3bar signal and set the unit on my desk and it seemed OK, very much faster than ADSL.But after an hour I began to get randomly “No internet” and the device had disconnected. This has been the case for the past two hours now. Up then down like 10 mins, 5 mins, 2 mins, 8 mins uptime then brief loss of connection.The 3bar signal strength seems steady.There are a primary and secondary signals reported on the web page that proves the gateway.Does anyone have any idea what lies behind these disconnects?My zip is 85207 and all ind

how much can one person take?

I was thrilled to switch to T-mobile awhile back. Now I’m sorry I did. The internet goes down several times per week. As much as I hate Comcast I’m ready to beg them to take me back. Enough already. They should have the kinks worked out by now. It’s not only inconvenient it’s interrupting my work day.  Anyone else?

Router Configuring Advice

Hi, this is a followup post to this one where I was looking for a router for my Arcadyan gateway, I picked up the Asus GT-AC2900 (aka RT-AC86U) and set it up yesterday, it is currently working and at similar speeds, so now I'm looking for ways to configure it, hopefully this can help others looking for a router/router advice too, here are some notes I had from my setup/configuring I already tried:-I do have the wifi in the Arcadyan turned off thanks to Nater Tater's easy script and tutorial for how to do so. This keeps the gateway less busy/hot. In case you’re wondering the TMHI app and web interface still work through your router’s network, so does the script, so you can look at data metrics and reboot from there still.​​​​​​​-disabling DHCP on it's own like I had seen in some threads had made the wifi signal stop working (not unavailable it just had no internet), speeds didn't really change either so that was a no-go, if anyone knows more about that please let me know since I likely
