T-Mobile is on hand to help the community of Dayton, Ohio, after Monday’s devastating tornado Updated: 5/30/19T-Mobile’s network has some limited outages. We are working to quickly restore service in these locations. We’ve deployed network resources like Cell On Wheels (COWs) and Cell On Light Trucks (COLTs) to help provide wireless coverage to T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers in the area.As the network is recovering, we encourage T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile customers to consider using text rather than voice services over the next couple of days -- text messages have the greatest chance of success in high traffic situations.T-Mobile relief trucks and local team members will be located at 3891 Kemp Rd Beavercreek, OH 45431 to distribute supplies including chargers, water, tents, chairs and other essentials. Remember, customers on T-Mobile One or Simple Choice plans always have unlimited talk, text, and data. Metro by T-Mobile customers also have unlimited talk and text on al

Many of us resolve to be more mindful day-to-day, but don’t quite know how to put the resolution into practice. Well, if being more present, conscious or in-the-moment is on your wellness to-do list, from meditation apps to yoga videos, there are an abundance of Zen-inducing resources available right in the palm of your hand. Switch to Do Not Disturb mode or mute text threads when you want some inner calm. You don’t have to go full Airplane Mode - Do Not Disturb allows you to receive calls and texts without the distracting or (at times) stress-inducing notifications that come with them. Many smartphone models offer this option, and you’ll find yourself feeling less tied down by incoming correspondence. And speaking of correspondence, we all know that group messages can send phone alerts into overdrive! Put threads that aren’t super time-sensitive on mute so that you can stay focused on other priorities, including clearing your mind. Limit notifications to put yourself in control of your
They say a picture is worth 1,000 words and it made me think, how many words is a GIF worth? It's like, a bunch of pictures back to back played really fast but not quite a video. Anyway, I thought it would be fun to have a thread where we could kind of do something similar to what we have going on over at the Word Association thread. Someone will post a GIF and the next person will post another GIF that is related to the one above in some way. Get creative! It could be a GIF from a movie and the next person could post another GIF from that movie. It could be a GIF where someone is dancing, and the next person could post another dancing GIF. The possibilities are endless!! All are welcome to post as long as you pronounce it the correct way... who cares how the creator of the GIF says it, we all know he's wrong too.side note: Let's keep the GIFs family friendly. The internet is already full of stuff that isn't.I'll start it out with one of my all time favorite gifs!To post a GIFFind a GI

Today is National Cereal Day (which should be every day in my book) and we wanted to celebrate by getting a better idea of what type of cereals our users enjoy. Are you a Frosted Flakes aficionado? I heard they're GR-R-REAT! Maybe you're a Lucky Charm-er, a Grape Nut nut, or a fan of bran -- we won't judge (too much). Or maybe you have a special way of fixing up your bowl of cereal. Either way, join the conversation.I'll start us off!Years ago I used to enjoy fruity cereals such as Froot Loops or Fruity Pebbles with orange juice. Don't worry I'm no longer in that phase. I now enjoy Honey Nut Cheerios and usually snack on them dry.
Empowering young people to dream and solve challenges means a brighter future for us all. So last May, T-Mobile partnered with Ashoka to launch the Changemaker Challenge. The call to young innovators was simple: share your big ideas for positive, lasting change in your communities. Earlier this month, the leader of one of the six winning teams and a CEO favorite, J.I. of Dios del Sol, shared his journey so far with our T-Mobile Newsroom and Good Morning America, detailing his plan to revolutionize and democratize solar power across Puerto Rico. A History with HurricanesAs J.I. explained to the Newsroom, the need he sees for his home island is fueled by a history of hurricane experience. As a toddler, the '98 arrival of Hurricane George sent J.I.'s mother out into the storm searching for electricity so she could administer his asthma medication. At seven, he saw images of Hurricane Isabel making landfall and the fascination cemented. From that point on, J.I. "followed every hurricane li

We hope you had a chance to enjoy some sweetness yesterday, and participate in NBUWYCD on Twitter -- but if you missed out, no worries! We've got another holiday award to give right here in our T-Mobile Support Community!A few days from now, another pretty rad holiday owns the calendar space – February 17th is Random Acts of Kindness Day -- a great day to do sweet things, just 'cause you can. And we'd love to gather a little inspiration by hearing about the sweet things YOU'VE done, recently or in years gone by. The Random Acts

Hi everyone, I know it has been some time but I was hoping to get some clarification about the big surprise John Legere had for us during the Super Bowl. Basically, I wanted to know if the only things confirmed was the free tacos from Taco Bell and the Lyft ride? I saw threads on Reddit saying that RCS was also confirmed but no word on Twitter. I know that devices like the S9, S8, and a few others support RCS but I don't know if it actually will work with other carriers. As always I appreciate the help from everyone on the forum Sincerely,Dragon1562
