I eventually did get it fixed after I filed a complaint with the FCC. It was definitely a T-mobile issue. One of their advanced techs had to reset something on their end in order for it to start working again. I know I wasn’t the only experiencing this issue so I wish they’d train their employees on what to do with these similar complaints. If I were you I’d file a complaint with the FCC.
My number was used to send scam texts. People would report my number as a scam number. T-Mobile had to file a ticket with their engineers to have the number unblocked. I started having the problem in November and it was barely fixed in March. I filed a complaint with the FCC, and I believe it’s the only reason I got a resolution.
Did they do anything that you know of to get your texts working again?
Mine is the opposite. I can text people on the T-Mobile network, I can’t text anyone outside the T-Mobile network. Very frustrating. I wish they would resolve this issue.
I’ve been having this problem since November. I’ve called numerous times and they finally submitted a trouble ticket for me to an engineer in January. I never received a follow up, and my texting issues are still there. I finally had enough and filed with the FCC.
I’ve been with T-Mobile since August. Service is pretty decent. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and upgraded my phone when the new ones came out. My texts worked flawlessly no issues. On November 10th my sms texts stopped being delivered. I have called T-Mobile customer service numerous times. Did all their troubleshooting over and over. Took my phone to an Apple Store for them to run diagnostics on my phone. They said my phone is fine, and it’s a network issues. Finally on January 10th one of their customers service representatives filed a trouble ticket on my behalf to go to an engineer. I still have not heard back from an engineer or customer service representative. I’ve called to get a follow up, and I literally have to start all over again. I can’t communicate with anyone, and am beyond frustrated. I filed a complaint with the FCC. Hopefully they can get them to fix the issue, because I have seen numerous complaints about texting issues with T-Mobile users. The type of phone varies.
I am not able to see the texts sent, but I do receive the responses from those texts. I know they send a link claiming to be with some financial institution. Ever since this problem my phone does not deliver sms messages either. I am assuming they are not able to use my number anymore after they try changing my password, because I have not received any hateful responses from scam texts being sent from my number.
Thank you. This didn’t start happening till I came to T-Mobile. I saw their notification about some information was obtained, unfortunately I think it’s more than they are willing to admit.
I have contacted customer service through phone and the messaging app. I don’t have social media to contact them through other means. I have removed my security questions, and instead require a text with a code when changing my password or even accessing my account online. I have changed my email password, deactivated all devices connected to my email in the event that’s how they were accessing my account. I changed my pin and all private information. At one point they were able to change my email address on my T-Mobile account to an address that wasn’t even mine. They hacked my phone number, and I’ve had problems with T-Mobile and my phone since that happened in November. T-Mobile has done nothing to fix the issues with my online account or phone/service.
I have been having this issue since November! I’ve called multiple times to customer service. In November my T-Mobile account and phone number was hacked. Hundreds of scam texts went out from my number. Did this happen to any of you also?
