The easiest way to set up Netflix on us, or Apple TV is by logging into the T-Mobile app clicking the account tab, then clicking the manage data and add-ons button and scrolling down to services. Look for Apple TV or Netflix that says “on Us” and check them off. once you save it, will take you to a page where you can proceed forward to activate your subscriptions. AppleTV is very easy to set up from an Apple device. Once you click the activation link, it will route you to the AppleTV app and automatically create an account for you using your Apple ID, Netflix works the same way once you save and click the activation link for Netflix, it will take you to a sign-up page where you can either login using an existing account or create a new account depending on what replan you are on you may be eligible for a discount on premium Netflix packages if you are not interested in that then just select the free version. Same steps are applicable via website or app

is there a transfer fee

There is not a fee for moving active service from one phone to another unless you are in need of a new SIM card. Unless your new phone is e-SIM only, you do have to speak to a representative or go to a retail location in order to activate your new phone. Literally take the SIM card out of the old phone, put it into the new one, and your same number/ service is immediately on the new phone.  If you plan opening a separate T-Mobile account when you turn 18 and absolutely want to keep your numbers then the only way to do so is to have your account holder call customer service by dialing 611, speak to representative and do a “change of responsibility”. The account holder will give consent to release the line and then you will be required to have credit ran in order to establish a separate account with the same phone numbers. When you do a change of responsibility you are not considered a new customer and are not eligible for any new customer or AAL promotions.  If that sounds like a hassle

tmobile is hot garbage!!!

There are several factors that determine the quality of your service but the main things: what rate plan you are on, what phone you have, what area you live in. For example, if you live an area with excellent coverage, have a iPhone 14 or S23, and are on Go5g Plus or the now grandfathered Magenta Max then you are going to have the best possible premium data experience possible because these two plans are the only plans ever offered by any carrier that is truly unlimited without throttling. If you live in the same area, with the same high tier phones but have Essentials then your service experience will be significantly lesser quality than compared to Go5g Plus or Magenta Max because this rate plan throttles (slows down) at 50gb of data used. Unfortunately every single carrier’s unlimited service throttles with the exception of the two T-Mobile plans mentioned. If you live in an area with excellent coverage and have the best current plan but you are using a Samsung Galaxy S10 or lower o

I want to leave TMobile.... and need number transfer pin

If you are the PAH.  You can call Customer Care at 611 and have your PIN reset.  Then you can take that PIN and use it to port out. This is incorrect. Just like Verizon, AT&T, Cricket, Metro by T-mobile, and several other carriers, in order to port-out from T-Mobile you need a specific PIN called a Number Transfer PIN or transfer PIN. This is a unique code used for switching carriers and IS NO LONGER THE SAME AS YOUR ACCOUNT SECURITY PIN. It’s easily obtainable by logging in on the t-mobile app or on the website.

What happened to my information before I got on a Magenta 55+ Plan

T-Mobile retail and care representatives do not have access to more than three months of your most recent bills and one year to date of account memo history. Since these records are the customers personal information, the customer has the ability to go further back themselves via online or in the app.If you are the account holder, sign into your T-Mobile account via the app, go the “Bill” section, scroll all the way down and click “view account activity”, here you can see and filter every purchase or payment you have made to date including Sprint too.  If the account which you are attempting to find records for no longer exists then those records are non recoverable. Period.

There is actually no other carrier outside of T-Mobile that has a specific rate plan that does not throttle. Every company has unlimited data but every single company also throttles you. When T-Mobile came out with Magenta Max (starts at $85 for 1 line and autopay) they became the first company that offered a truly unlimited data plan with no throttling. That plan actually became grandfathered today along with Magenta but will still be available online only for new customers who do their activation themselves. The new plan that will replace Magenta Max starting today 04/23/23 is called Go5g Plus which is $90 for 1 line with autopay. The fact is you pay for what you get. If you’re concerned about slower speed then you need to be willing to pay for premium service features or connect to Wi-Fi more often.

Why so much data usage compared to old service?

T-Mobile’s Home Internet LITE is not worth it. It is meant to be used for customers who live in very rural areas where there is absolutely no other options for internet service. That is why the cost ranges from $50-$500Keep in mind that T-Mobile is the first and only carrier to have Internet that works using cellular data so no it is not the same as any other internet provider and the quality of speed varies based on your proximity to the tower. Nor do they guarantee speeds to you because of this. T-Mobile Home Internet LITE plans are recommended for people who are doing bare minimum such as office work. IT IS NOT AT ALL APPROPRIATE FOR STREAMING SHOWS, VIDEOS, MOVIES, OR ONLINE GAMING as doing things like that even for 2.5 hours can eat 300gbs of data.

This is easiest way to get a transfer PINThe easiest way to get a number transfer PIN is on the T-Mobile app. If you do not have the app download it. If you do not have an online account you need to create one. If you have an online account but do not remember your password then you need to reset it. Once signed into the app click on the “more” tab, click “profile settings”, click “line settings”, using the drop down menu select the line you want to port-out and click “request a transfer PIN”.  There is no carrier that can get you a transfer PIN in a retail store.Transfer PINs are only obtained online or on the app at any carrier.Please note some carriers can provide you with a transfer PIN via 611 customer service but you must be the account holder not an authorized user and be able to confirm your normal 4 to 10 digit account PIN number in order to verify your identity over the phone. Your PIN number is something the account holder would have created themselves at the time of account

prison calls

Yes you should receive prison calls. My best friend whom of which also has T-Mobile receives about 10-15 calls a day from her child’s father, sometimes even as late as 9:30pm. She does not put money on his account herself as she has no interest in chit chatting with him so he calls her with money someone else has placed on the account. If you have the scam shield app, turn it off and/ or manually add the phone number to the list of approved callers. Double check that your phone does not have “filter unknown callers” enabled. Make sure the contact is saved. Make sure the phone number is not blocked in your contact list. Other trouble shooting methods after all of that is done and the issue persists is to just simply go into the store (a corporate location because it truly does  make a drastic difference customer service quality wise compared to a third-party retailer)(also observe the representative and see if they even seem knowledgeable and willing to help) because it much easier than

Prepaid Questions

You can activate an eSIM on prepaid with T-mobile. However, the representatives in store still do not have a way of doing so therefore you have to call customer service in order to activate an eSIM on prepaid.

T mobile says my lease is ending and if I don't choose by 4-23 it'll auto bill, but on the website it doesn't even let me choose. it says its completed and its not. its 4-22

You have three different options: 1. If you would like a new phone and your leased phone is free of any physical damage then you can turn in your leased device and upgrade. (You will have the option while getting your new phone to either keep it in a lease or switch it to a financing agreement)2. Pay off the residual balance to own in one lump sum.3. Call customer service or go into a retail location and have your residual balance to own extended over a 9 month period. This will change the lease to a financing agreement so that at the end of the nine months you are the owner of your phone. If you do not do anything at all before the next bill generates, you will be automatically charged the residual balance to own the leased device and you will be responsible for paying the device off.

Hi! So that you are aware, Sprint never offered phone financing options. No matter which way a representative could have told you that you were going to own your phone, you were never really financing it because they only had lease options which means that you are renting your phone. The type of leases that sprint had are called forever leases, which means that if the customer never gave back their rented phone or paid off the residual balance to own it, that they would literally continue to charge you to just rent it forever even if your lease, which would have been 18 months long, ended did four years ago. If your account is still on the Sprint biller, then you may want to double check that this is not the case.If you have been officially migrated to the T-mobile biller, then you are able to cancel service whenever you would like. Your phones will be your responsibility to finish paying off, once an account is canceled you have about 90 days to pay the remaining bill and equipment ch

sim unlock for non user

No carrier has the ability to unlock any phone in store; it can only be done over the phone by speaking to customer care.Some android devices can be unlocked from the phone itself by using an unlock code however, iPhones specifically have to be unlocked by calling the original vendor and/ or the most recent phone service provider. Just give T-mobile’s customer service department a call and say “unlock my phone”, you’ll have to speak to representative, tell them you need your phone unlocked, they will need the IMEI of your device which can be found in your settings: click “general”, click “about”, scroll until you see “IMEI”.  It takes a full 72 hours to unlock a phone. This same process is applicable to unlocking any phone at any company.  If the phone was not paid off by the original owner and/ or has been reported lost or stolen, it will never be eligible to be unlocked. Please note that phones which were sold by any carrier initially, and have been paid off and previously unlocked b
