While an older Kindle, a Dell LatitudeE6540, a Samsung SM-J7 and a newer Ipad will connect an older Ipad will not. I was wondering if it could be the setting to use one password for both the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz that is creating an issue with the older Ipad? Also it looks like once the Gateway is set to use one PW it may take a reset to get back to that screen. I’ve got the Samsung on the “Manage your Wi-Fi networks” screen but have waited as one user suggested w/o any change. Thank you.
I have had T-Mobile home internet for going on six months with the Nokia gateway. We have absolutely loved it. Until now. Haha a few weeks ago, it started shutting down randomly, so we had to reset it almost daily, sometimes multiple times per day. Got a replacement gateway sent. The replacement is showing three bars (two bars in enough for us to watch tv, surf, etc…anything we do…we are not gamers) three bars! It’s showing connected on my devices. But…..we have no internet. Nothing. Three bars showing, showing connected on my devices but no internet at all. I cannot load anything, nothing going on. We used it for about five months on the old gateway with no issues. We were so happy with it. So….can anyone help me? We’ve tried moving it, restarting it. Taking the SIM in and out. Maybe they are “working on the tower” however we have three bars showing on the gateway so I don’t think that’s it. Any insight would be greatly welcomed.
After setting my new Netgear Nighthawk M5 (MR5200) Mobile Router up with the fast.t-mobile.com APN, it never connects. The status just continually says “Searching for network, please wait...”The associates at my local T-Mobile store were unable to get it to connect either. This device shows as “fully compatible with T-Mobile’s network technology” and “device is not blocked from use on our network” when I use the T-Mobile IMEI checker.What am I missing here? Has anyone else gotten a M5 to connect to the T-Mobile APN?
I have had my m2000 for a long time and have had no issues with it till now.recently there was an over the air firmware update and i did not think much about it just clicked the button to do the upgrade. when it finished and rebooted I have lost all functionality and I have a screen showing “Final Assembly Test UI 1.0” further there are tests for charger control, lcd Test, TP Test , ResetB, and Accuracy.Clearly something has gone wrong and i don't know how to fix this or how to get it fixed.Any help would be super helpful, this sux that tmobile’s firmware update basically bricked my fully functioning device.
Hi I have a ZTE Z64 Hotspot that I have used for years; and in shortest form I am looking for the default WPS Pin, back in July I ran out of Data, and purchased a 30 Data Pass to tide me over till my monthly renewal. And it has not worked since. That Data was somehow not highspeed data so it was incompatible with the device, and I got no use from that pass, That would be no problem except that, while the 30Days have expired the device still will not log into the T-mobile network. I have full bars, and Solid Arrows; and a no service message. I have made at least 3 trouble calls to no good effect. I have been repeatedly reassured that there is no block on the device/Account, despite the appearance there certainly is. I have rolled the device back to factory reset. And the default WPA-PSK password, to no good effect; but I have not been able to find the WPS pin anywhere on the web and wonder if that is the problem. I cannot believe that I got into this mess. These people have done nothing but lied to me. I left AT&T after 25 years because my bill kept getting higher. I joined 55+ plan & was told $70.00 a month. Needless to say that isn't happening. Next month’s bill is showing $179.00. The clerk at the store added extra warranties that I said NO to. I was told my phones would be free. I am paying for them even after trade in. Last month I was told I could get a free watch because there has been so many problems. Don’t fall for it. They lie and cheat. It’s called Bait & Switch. I am warning you, DON’T fall for it. They say no contracts. They have other ways for them to rope you in. I am now stuck. I feel it’s my job to keep other people free from T mobile. Have a new T-10 (yes, I know it is obsolete 😏) and I’m trying to set it up on a T-Mobile data plan. It will connect to T-Mobile (I know because it is using a small amount of data) but no internet. On a Windows 10 PC I get an error message “failed” from “http://www.msftconnecttest.com/redirect”. When I edit the registry to stop checking then none of my Microsoft Office software (eg, Outlook) will run. Is there a solution to this problem?
On the Inseego M2000 MIFI device administration web page, on the About tab it says it is using “Technology: 5G”, but on the DIagnostics tab of that “About” panel it says “Band: N0”: there is no such band supported by T-Mobile (N71 is the only other band I’ve seen, other than “N0”). What does “Band: N0” mean? Is this really suggesting it is using 4G bands? If so where can I see which 4g band is being used? I currently have software version 1Z L184.108.40.206 MSDX55MOR-220.127.116.11 1 [2020-11-07 15:36:46] installed.
I have my gateway as close to the suggested placement as possible. my question is we do not have signal in the basement and with gaming teen boys they are losing their mind. I have seen on different platforms people suggesting to run an Ethernet cord from the gateway to a router in the basement and then they will have WiFi access. Had anyone tried this and can you please tell me your results? Thanks in advance!
It was working when I received it, and than I changed some settings to try and integrate into my network. I must have screwed something up, because I can no longer get to the admin page. I decided to reset the device to factory settings by using the reset button. I hold it for 5 seconds, per directions, and the 3 lights flash red and the unit reboots. However, when it is back up and running, the default password does not work, and the password I set for the 5ghz network does. And even though I can connect to the wireless network, I cannot access the admin page, or even the internet. How do I do a hard reset on the device or what am I missing?
I bought Alcatel Go Flip 4 in January. In August it wouldn’t send or receive pictures. Local store people told me it was broke for good and ordered me a new phone. The phone came in and IN picked up at store. I am a little dissapointed with the new phone. It is TCL and does not have the same features as teh Alctel Go Flip 4. Mainly missing games and FM radio. I really liked the radio. So is the Alctel no longer available? Is there another flip available with FM Radio and Games? Thank you. Roswell_Bob P.S. Recently we started experiencing some problems with our 3 SE2 (2nd gen) iPhones.Since we’re thinking to upgrade our phones to the iPhone 13 or 14 I don't want to start troubleshooting the problem.I’m assuming that the newer phones are going to be able to take advantage of features that will improve the communication, that our current ones miss it.My questions:1- Is my assumption right? (If I take the 3 phones (SE2; 13 and 14) to 5-10 different places and make calls, will there be a real difference between them in terms of service?) (Quality of sound; dropped calls; reception and so (don't care about features like camera; screen size; storage; battery life and so)).2- If we want to purchase the 13/14 I guess we’ll sign for a 2 yr contract and pay them in 24 monthly payments (if we don’t to pay in one lump sum).If so, is there something like a trial period? (That within a certain time we can return the phones if we want, cancel the purchase and we don't loose any $, or we are “stuck” wit
Hi, all, I’ve just switched from Spectrum to T-Mobile and have installed their brand new 5G Gateway. So far, it’s terrific, with one exception. None of my Alexa Smart Plugs work since they operate on the 2.4gHz band and use the Tuya app. Is there a way to connect them to my T-Mobile wi-fi network? If not, are there any Smart Plugs around that will connect to Wi-Fi and the Gateway? I have a Linksys Velop AX4200 dual band router. Can I connect that to the T-M Gateway and disable the 5gHz band, leaving the 2.4 for the smart devices? Many thanks for your help. DG
I set up a new wifi name and password, and I have guest network turned off and I frequently see several devices that are not approved that I know of connected to my hotspot.I am curious how or why this is happening and how to fix it. It does seem to slow my data speeds when out and about.
