Talk about all the stuff that comes along with T-Mobile's Prepaid service.
Where is my Prepaid Cell Phone Pin Number
Where in my simply prepaid T-Mobile cell phone documentation is my Pin Number? I reset the cell phone (Samsung G360T Core Prime) and now the T-Mobile App is asking for either my Password for the cell phone number or my Pin Number if I forgot the Password. I didn't know I had a password or a pin number.
Error "Uh-oh, it looks like we have our wires crossed. Please try again later."
Hi,I used prepaid account about 7 months and switched to postpaid one week ago. I spoke with 5-7 different t-mobile representative/technicians (spend about 3 hours total) and no one can't help or say when I can use my account. I see "Uh-oh, it looks like we have our wires crossed. Please try again later." error message when I am trying to login in. I can't use my Netflix as well without access to my profile.
Transfer / migrate from the physical sim to eSIM
Hello! I have the physical t-mobile SIM and I want to transfer phone number to my eSIM account / to convert it into eSIM. At the moment I have two tmobile accounts and numbers, is it possible to merge em? (both accounts are prepaid)I talked to the tech support - and every time I called I had a different information:1st time i was told that in 24hrs everything would be done smoothly (nothing happened so I called again)2d time I was told that T-Mobile doesn't support a feature to transfer the physical sim into the eSIM (when both numbers are tmobile numbers)before the first call I tried to reach a text support online - they also didn't resolve any questions and just said that tmobile doesnt fully support eSIM.What is the truth here? Is it really not possible? Also an extra eSIM question - if I want to use the same eSIM on a different phone, how to achieve it? Or it is impossible now to perform any kind of eSIM transfers? Thanks for understanding.
Refilling prepaid mobile hotspot
How do I refill (add a data pass to) my prepaid mobile hotspot? When I login and select my device I am never given an option to add more data to my prepaid mobile hotspot no matter what option I select, all the screens have changed from just a month ago and now nothing works.First screen I see when I login. I did nothing on 3/21/2019 so I don't know what that means under "Your Plans". What is a "Simple Plan"?If I select "Check out more plans" I see this, with no way to select a plan or add a data pass. My only option is "Cancel".If I select "Change Plan" I see this, with no way to select a plan or add a data pass. My only option is "Cancel".All previous purchases show as "On-Demand Pass".The whole process of adding data to my prepaid mobile hotspot has completely changed and become impossible to complete! What in the world is happening at T-Mobile?Is it time to switch providers?
I cannot access my t-mobile account with my app; nor can I on the web..
When I log in on the web using my laptop or my cell phone, this error appears.F451 Service Unavailable "UH oh; it looks like we have our wired crossed!"Login on the T-Mobile app; this error message appears. "Sorry we're not ready for you yet; we're working on improving your app experience."My phone number used to be on my sister's family account with T-mobile for a very long time and within the last two weeks, my sister and I decided that I open a new prepaid account and my phone number be ported because I didn't want a different phone number. Upon my service activation, all went south. The site and the t-mobile app worked as expected until then. When I tried to register my t-mobile account, I couldn't register with my same email address. I called 611 and they weren't successful afterwards. After more than 72 hours, I still couldn't transfer my email address to my account so I decided to go postpaid. At this point these error messages started.I screen-captured both error messages and b
T-Mobile app is not working
Hi,I currently ported in T-Mobile with a Simply Prepaid Plan ($40).When I tried to access the T-Mobile app, it showed "Sorry we're not ready for you yet. We're working on improving your app experience."I had already tried to unload and reinstall the app several times, but still in vain.I wonder is this usually happened to people just ported in T-Mobile?If anyone had this problem before can provide me solutions, thank you.
Pre-paid balance refund
TL;DR: Would like to cancel my TMO account and get a refund for the remaining balance.I've spent most of today trying to get an answer on this and ended up getting conflicting answers. Background info: I've got about $90, left in my prepaid account that I'd like to get refunded and I want to cancel my service with TMO immediately. I have the $30/mo for 100 mins +5GB data/text plan - this plan would be ideal, however the signal at my house is so poor that MMS rarely works and calls dropped all the time. It generally works great when I'm in the city though. I've had the service for over 1 year in the hopes that a new tower would go up near my house, but it doesn't look like that will happen. So I've switched to different carrier and would like to get a refund for the remaining balance in my TMO account.Over chat, I was told that I'd be this would be possible by calling: 1-877-720-5195After calling this number, and getting redirected (3 times!) to a 'payment supervisor', I was told tha
Problem linking phone number to My T-Mobile.
I've tried signing in to my t-mobile prepaid website to check my data, or pay bills, or to change plans. But everytime I sign in I get this message, I've called t-mobile 2 times, the first time the support guy on the phone said it is a problem from their side beside they have people working on the tower because of the 5G thats incoming, the 2nd time she told me that they had to delete my t-mobile account and make a new one using the same e-mail address, she told me to wait 8 days, I've waited almost a month, logged in, and the same message popped up again."Oh no! We have run into an issue when linking this number to the profile. Please contact our Care experts to get this resolved."I recently switched plans from the $45 4GB of data a month to $40 10GB of data a month. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Before I switched to that plan My T-Mobile was working just fine I could do everything.A screenshot of the message that keeps popping up everytime I sign in:
How to get receipt/bill for prepaid T Mobile payment ?
Hi, I made a payment for my prepaid T mobile account few days back. I got an email notification saying my payment has been made, however, there is no place I could get a receipt for the payment made. I spoke to the payment agent and he said there is no way T mobile could provide a receipt for payments made for recharge account. I'm surprised that in USA that T mobile could charge my card and still not provide receipt. Could any of you folks help ? My expenses are borne by my employer and I need a receipt for every payment made. Failing to do so will result in me paying for the expenses. Kindly help.
Unable to login to My T-Mobile Account
I set up a Prepaid Tablet Data Account ("Mobile Internet Network Access) about 3 weeks ago, and received an email "Welcome to T-Mobile" with my new phone number. I have called Technical Support several times, because when I try to login to My T-Mobile (using either phone number or email), there is an error message that I am not authorized to use this account. I went to a T-Mobile Store, and they were able to access my account, so I know it's active.T-Mobile Support just said this is a known issue, affecting many new accounts. The last tech said she would "escalate" my request, and get back to me. I've heard nothing.Seems like a wimpy reply. Anyone else having this problem, or know how to resolve it?Thanks!
Refund when cancelling prepaid plan?
I have some phones on prepaid plans for relatives. I will be needing to cancel them soon. A couple of them have balances in the accounts. Will those balances be returned to me when I cancel or will I just lose that money? Answer from a T-mobile rep would be welcome.
T-Mobile App not working with my prepaid account
I signed up for a t-mobile prepaid account about a month ago and each time I try to open the T-Mobile App I get the message "Sorry we're not ready for you yet. We're working on improving your app experience." I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 from T-Mobile (Previously was used with my business account) that us running Android version 8.0.0. How can I get the app to work for me?
I cannot get past the security questions
I have a postpaid account which is working fine and I can manage my postpaid phone lines just fine. However, I also had to create a separate account with a separate email address to manage a prepaid phone for an elderly relative.Immediately after I log in to my prepaid account (email address ending in @gmail.com), it asks me to answer security questions, to which I no longer remember the answers. I probably entered random answers when I first set them up, because I never forget my password (I use LastPass). In fact my password is still working just fine, so I don't even understand why it's asking me to verify security questions after I have successfully logged in?I thought security questions were used only when you forget your password (which again, I never do). There is no other verification method offered on the Security Questions screen. How do I get past these security questions if I don't know the answers, but do know my password?
Porting number problem!
I decided to switch from straight talk to T-Mobile prepaid. I paid for a month of service and received a Sim card. I wanted to port port my number from the previous service and T-Mobile said they could. The new sim can make a call but not receive one. Can use data just fine. Cannot send or receive texts or MMS unless it's from T-Mobile. This morning I got a T-Mobile text saying there was a problem porting my number and that they'd call me, however this Sim cannot receive calls. What do I do? I called them and they said they would port it and that my issue was that the PIN I gave them was incorrect. They asked for the correct PIN, but I NEVER made a PIN or provided one. This whole thing is a mess and every call goes exactly the same.
eSIM not installed when using T-Mobile eSim app
I have just enrolled for a prepaid account using T-Mobile eSim app. All the process seemed to work fine (I got a phone number and had my CC charged) but in the end there was some kind of problem installing the new eSim on my iPhone. Now it seems I am locked out of service, since the app requires a different e-mail and the creation of a new account to run again. How can I get the eSim for my existant and already paid for prepaid phone number now?
Unable to access prepaid account on t-mobile.com since Oct 12
Ever since Friday October 12, 2018, I've been able to complete the online login on t-mobile.com to access my prepaid accounts, it worked fine prior to that. On that day after I logged in I was greeted with a message saying my password was too old and it forced me to change the password which I did. After logging in successfully with the new password, as usual I get the "Select account" screen where I select prepaid number I want to manage as I have multiple prepaid numbers on this account, the link to that page is: https://my.t-mobile.com/choose-account.html After selecting a number I get the message: "We are currently having trouble with your request. Please wait a few minutes and try again."I get the same message if I select the other numbers as well. So it appears whatever changes they made to the site last week didn't account for prepaid accounts with multiple numbers associated with the login as I can't complete the login anymore. Can someone please forward this to the appropriate
How to get my prepaid bill/receipt with my address?
I am a prepaid customer. Not I want to get my prepaid receipt/bill with my address for applying my driver license. But I cannot find anywhere to get it. Is there any other ways to get the receipt or bill? If not, how can I change my prepaid plan to postpaid plan? I just want to get a telephone bill/receipt to show my address to DMV.
Esim with existing t-mobile number?
Currently have a simply prepaid plan with T-mobile that I am very happy with. It uses an old fashioned SIM card. Looking to buy a new apple phone and use the eSim technology. It looks like my plan is offered on eSim. Question is - can I keep my existing number? I know you can port an existing number but this is essentially porting from T-mobile to t-mobile. Want to be sure before I drop $700. Has anyone done this and if so how?
Will a prepaid walmart tmobile phone work by just putting in my existing tmo sim card in it?
My android moto phone is getting old and isn’t updating so I found a prepaid tmo samsung A13 at Walmart. Is this new phone “locked” into having to start a new prepaid plan or can I just simply put my existing postpaid sim card into it and turn it on and i’ll have my same service? Thanks!
Prepaid Plan: Whitelisted vs Data
Hello. I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered--I just couldn’t find a satisfactory answer through a quick search or when calling T-Mobile customer service.I just signed up for a $10 Connect prepaid plan with 1GB of data. On the usage details (under data), I see both categories called “whitelisted” and “data” under category for the service of internet access (a copy of the usage detail is attached). Can anyone give me an easy to understand explanation of why there is two categories of “whitelisted” and “data,” both of which really reduces the overall data anyway? One site (https://techshift.net/what-is-t-mobile-whitelist-and-regular-usage/) seems to indicate that “whitelisted” “doesn’t count towards a plan’s data bucket.” I’m not sure what that really means or if it is even accurate since there aren’t many similar explanations that I could find.Any assistance would be appreciated.
