A dedicated space to talk about all of the things going on with T-Mobile High-Speed Internet
Great news! For those who (like me) need a little better signal, and know an external antenna would be better, your prayers have been answered. See the link below on a new product announcement. I already hacked mine so I may wait, but if you need a better signal (= faster download speeds) this is a huge development. https://tmo.report/2023/08/its-here-the-new-t-mobile-home-internet-gateway/Will you be asking for an exchange for the new gateway?
I am only able to get 3 bars showing ( good) in my small house. I’ve moved the gateway several places with same results. The only difference now is it doesn’t take as long to download streaming channels ( the free ones), but I notice when on internet some of my regular pages are not refreshing. I’ve rebooted devices, gateway etc. wondering if I jumped the gun getting rid of Spectrum?
T-mobile states the message “T-Mobile is proud to participate in the new federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)” on their website, and I applied for and was approved for the program. However, when I called T-mobile customer service, I was told that T-mobile does not support this program. Why are you displaying this program on your site if you don’t support it?
T-Mobile internet speeds decreasing - it is getting so bad that any streaming on TVs involves buffering and spinning arrows. Something has changed. For the first year or so, service and speeds were great. Now it’s down to this…I’ll be calling T Mobile Home Internet this week ti try a number of solutions I have read about in other posts like this on here.
My chromecast devices are not connecting to the T-Mobile Wifi gateway 5g during setup. I’ve tried resetting, resetting and they’re not letting my devices set up on my tv. My casting options will not pop up either. I can’t set up my devices or cast to my tvs. I’ve seen other issues similar but cannot figure it out. Can someone help me with this??
Hello,I recently purchased t-mobile internet and it appears that the router is blocking the "doubleclick.net" access the roku PBS kids app uses for adds in order to run. I can't find the advanced setting for the router in order to allow access for this device. Where can I access these settings?
So, I live in a one story house with some buddies and we got a TMobile Home Internet Router in the middle of the house to help provide everyone with a decent connection. I’m on the far left side of the house behind walls and doors and when I game on my PS5 the wifi sucks, but when I put my PS5 in the room with the router and connect with an ethernet cable it works fine. I’m wondering what extender I can get that can wirelessly connect to the router to boost the signal to my side of the house then I can connect an ethernet cable to that extender to get a good connection for gaming.
I recently tried to update my auto-pay, and was unable to. Apparently, T-Mobile no longer takes credit cards and won’t take my new card, and is saying they’re taking away the auto-pay discount unless you use a debit card. I tried to contact T-Mobile, but they were closed. I went to send an email or message and found they do not allow that and have no email address available for customers. I use my credit card for all auto-payments, and I particularly liked T-Mobile for their customer service. However, since they will no longer accept my payments and I have no way of contacting them or sending a message, I’m planning on switching to another provider and will likely move my internet too. I’m surprised they don’t take normal payments anymore and want to fee people more, those were things that used to make them stand out from the others.Sad day, goodbye T-Mobile, it was a fun run while you were good.
I am using TMobile home internet with a 5G router. the connection appears fine until I connect to my work VPN (speed unusably slow). Other employees do not have the same issue using the same VPN and I have been working with IT. The VPN is using Cisco AnyConnect to a DTLS, SSL, TCP and UDP 443 endpoint. They are suggesting that there may be a problem at TMobile with the UDP traffic on port 443. could someone please verify this for me? thx
I switched to T-Mobile Internet last week and got a Gateway that says it's by Arcadyan. WiFi works great on phone and computers, but when trying to set up the home security cameras, it won't connect. I have both Blink and Panasonic cameras and have tried both on the 5G and the 2.4 and neither network is working. Also reset and restarted everything multiple times. What else could I try??
HiI just got scammed to buy Home Internet which doesnt work. Have been trying to return it for two days. There is no way I can send a mail. Chat people direct me to a phone number. Its the same phone number which says they will call back in 15 min and never call back. When I call the number, they keep me on hold for two hours and then disconnect. WHen I ask chat person to transfer, they transfer to a team whcih says they dont cancel and promise to again transfer. It never happens
T-MOBILE’S 5G INTENETR Message on the router : Low temperature alert. Please move the device to a warmer location [Error Cpde TEM001]It appears again even though the temperature in the apartment is constant 76. if my equipment is broken, do I have to return it?
Home internet worked flawlessly for about 2 months. Great speeds and didn’t drop connection. At some point speeds started to dwindle and gateway would disconnect and reboot. T-Mobile sent out new gateway. Speeds are better, but it disconnects several (5-20) times a day. Today tech support told me too bad, find another provider if you don’t like it. I’ve been a T-Mobile customer for over 20 years. I just want it to work as advertised and I know it can, because it did for a while. Question: would an external antenna help with the dropped connection?
I've had 5G home internet service for about two months, after two weeks it started acting up. For about five times a day all my devices connected to the Arcadyan KVD21 gateway lose internet yet stay connected to wifi, I've tried everything! Do I need to replace my gateway? Very frustrating.
