A dedicated space to talk about all of the things going on with T-Mobile High-Speed Internet
I up until today have been a certain show on Netflix, I tried to watch it today but it disappeared and I received a message about my VPN/ proxy being on, I haven't made any changes, I can still watch other shows but the show I was watching disappeared, it won't even let me screencast from my phone. I am using a 5G gateway, it tried disconnecting the gateway and connecting to my TV thru my phones hotspot but still had the same issue. Anyone have any advice?
Why does TMobile Home Internet throttle only Live TV apps on FireTV Cube? All other streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Prime etc) work fine. My LiveTV iptv app buffers every 15 sec then freezes for 2 or 3 minutes, then buffers again, repeat this sequence over and over. This just started happening this weekend. I've had this same TMobile Home Internet & the apps mentioned for 2+ years. I talked to customer service who called in “expert engineer” to diagnose, said shed call me back - its been 2 days, no call back. Can anyone help me?
We’ve been with T-Mobile for nearly a year with no trouble. I have two BASH script utilities to monitor connection quality. One logs all momentary drops and drops lasting over 3 minutes. It also monitors AC power, so if we lose power, that can excuse some of the downtime. The other uses mtr and speedtest.cli to record connection speeds and quality every 3 hours. So far, we haven’t had any connectivity issues but I’d like to be able to restart our Sagemcom Fast 5688W Gateway from one of the scripts should the need arise.I use Debian 12, home desktop.BTW, we have the mobile app … pfft … have to log in every time I open it and it doesn’t do half of what I’d like.
My T-Mobile home internet has been fairly inconsistent speed wise. After doing some research, I want to install a mimo 4x4 antenna. I know there are lots of helpful videos and write ups out there on how to install these yourself. However, with how busy I am at work and nervous about drilling a hole in my house to run the cables, I'd like to hire someone to install it, but I cannot find any information on who to call to install them. If you have had an antenna installed professionally who did you have do it (trade wise, like electrician or someone else)? Thanks in advance for your help and input!
I have the Internet at my Fl home and it is good enough right now until new tower gets built closer. I have a Georgia home and we brought the gateway here to test and it works great here. I am wondering about the cost for a second gateway. I’d love to ditch both Comcrap and Spectrum. Thanks, P.S my Georgia address says its not available, but it does work here very very well. I do note that if you don't get the 5G noted on the gateway, it does not work well.
Technology can improve our daily lives and can also complicate them. Going forward at times, can result in going backwards. "If it isn't broke, leave it alone". Touch tone Old technology has a preprogrammed "tone" established, allowing a connection to be heard and passed through with correct information. Newer technology uses thousands of tones associated with 0-9 computer screen connections. " if you would like to receive this call pres 1", by pressing 1, this tone must connect with the exact receiving tone as the outgoing tone. If the tones do not exactly match, you may find yourself pressing "Beethoven" vs "Motzart". Your call will not connect if your note does not match the receiving note. How do companies address this issue? After several agents pass the buck, hang up on you and you finally manage an agent without preprogrammed bot mentality, you will discover a claim to their technicians will be processed for further review. Usually a 3 day or week process. A kind agent wil
I just installed T-Mobile home internet. I have a TP-Link router connected to LAN port 1 on T-Mobile modem/router. I have a desk top PC (without wifi) connected via ethernet to the TP-Link. Once a day it loses internet connection although wifi on both TP-Link router and T-Mobile remain active and 2 other devices connected via ethernet to the TP-Link remain active. Those devices are T-Mobile LineLink and Tablo OTA DVR. I can never get the desktop PC to reconnect without rebooting it. Then it connects again OK. I never had this problem with that PC when using that TP-Link router attached to Spectrum internet modem. Any clues?
13 year our business has been with T-Mobile but this latest problem has us on the verge of moving. So this is a last hail Mary to see if we can find a fix.Over the last month two lines get the same problem “ unsent txt... change to SMS or RCS...”. It will come in 10 to 15 minutes after sending a txt. Some times the txt will send but take two or three hours before it is received. This problem happens randomly, so not all the time. And it happens with full bars or not full bars, It happens on Wi-Fi or not What has been tried: 5 times and hours on the phone with T-Mobile tech support. uninstall txt AP, tried a different AP, cleared cashes, reset network settings on both phones.Any thoughts?
The entire time I’ve had Gateway, I’ve been able to disconnect devices, ie., my son’s consoles when it is time to stop playing. Now I cannot. There are only a few devices I can turn off/on. I have already uninstlle/reinstalled the app, turned off gateway and turned it back on. Still can’t disconnect the game consoles from the devices list.
Let me begin by asking what would my bill be as of today and any other fees if I were to leave T-Mobile as of today. I am going to tell you my nightmare that began with my current contract. The phones and contract the first time we came to you folks were very nice the price, service, and equipment. But now that I think about it was because I was with ATT at the time and they wanted me to switch carriers. So when are contract came up I went to the chat and got information on your current plans. She explained what the plane included. And it wasThe Magenta military planTwo new iPhonesA third line for hot spotNetflix so two people could watchIncluded a part that allowed me to update our phones before our contract was done. And the charge would be $90.00 per monthWe would get 800.00 for each trade-in of our phones. I do not trade my phone because of a cracked screen, I asked her if the store would honor her prices she said they would Here is the nightmareWhen we got to the store I was told
I recently upgraded my plan from essentials to 5G and I am unable to get a internet connection when I am away from the Wi-Fi connection . I have four phone lines and two of them are working fine but the other two do not have an internet connection . I have an I phone 13 and my husband has a Samsung . I have taken the phone to the T-Mobile store and they are unable to figure out why it’s not working . Has anyone had a similar issue ?
