Tips for new hotspot data plan for part time RV use

Title says it all. I just signed up for 50GB data using a Winegard Gateway GW-1000. I went this route for two reasons: one, it uses external antennas (should get a better signal?) and two, it is 12 volts, so it will work without the inverter on. Boondocking! We would primarily use this for casual Internet use on our laptops and video streaming to the TV.My big concern is that I am still working from home, so I only need this when we roll out for a trip. I saw that I can suspend (I think that is what it was called) the account, but only twice a year, and only for up to 90 days. Not enough! The T-Mobile rep said no worries, just report it lost or stolen - and he set it to that status. That doesn’t feel right, but that is what he said to do.And I already have $50 due, although there has been zero data use and the plan is in a “lost or stolen” status. I’m guessing first month, I get billed regardless. May as well turn it on and use it to check performance?So you part-time RVers, what do yo

Hello! well, I’ve got a T-mobile hotspot and was going to follow the instructions about Web UI & advanced settings. But the problem is that the web site which was provided there is not working, I mean, it seems like it doesn’t exist. So, how can I login to my Web UI home page??

cant get replacement

I bought a new Tmobile branded 5g hotspot and it quit working after a month. I called and got a ticket but there is no resolution to when they will send a replacement.  all I get is “it is in process” and it has now been a full week.  I’ve been calling every day and still no resolution to getting a replacement. apparently, the device came out in june, and they already discontinued it so they have no replacement.  they just want me to purchase an upgraded inseego.  this is not acceptable!!!!please community, please tell me how to get through to tmobile to escalate this!Lisl

For all those who are we’re having or are having connecting there my queue hub or garage door opener by chamberlain all you need to do is buy a cheap 2.4 G router that has ethernet input connected to the 5G gateway and it’ll work fine that’s what I did

T-Mobile app on Chromebook

Tried to install T-Mobile app on my Chromebook but got message that “this version is not compatible with this device.” I have many Android apps loaded on my Chromebook but can’t load the T-Mobile app. Why? There are hundreds of thousands Chromebook in use these day and for you app not to be compatible with Chrome OS is odd. Or, did I do something wrong? Andrew

4G security camera

I have a reolink remote camera. T-mobile does not seem to understand my sim card is in a camera up a tree in a remote area. To get information about my minutes or information on how much I have used they want to send it to the phone the sim card is in. I keep telling them its not in a phone! I can pay my bill by adding minutes but have no idea how to log onto T-mobile to see what the usage is. Help anyone?

I went with cheapest hotspot Tmobile, and I can't get it to let me download, open pages etc. If I went with  more expensive hotspot would I be about to use online videos, download to my business etc

firmware issue with m2000

I have had my m2000 for a long time and have had no issues with it till now.recently there was an over the air firmware update and i did not think much about it just clicked the button to do the upgrade. when it finished and rebooted I have lost all functionality and I have a screen showing “Final Assembly Test UI 1.0” further there are tests for charger control, lcd Test, TP Test , ResetB, and Accuracy.Clearly something has gone wrong and i don't know how to fix this or how to get it fixed.Any help would be super helpful, this sux that tmobile’s firmware update basically bricked my fully functioning device.

LG G6 touchscreen not responding

It started on a Wednesday afternoon - touchscreen would not work and then would start working again - kept going back and forth.  Then on Thursday - same thing all day.  Then on Friday worked once first thing in morning and then never worked again.  I was able to perform a restart one time Wednesday evening when the touchscreen was still working - did not resolve issue.  Now since that Friday, I have not been able to use my phone at all - no access to get into phone for messages, phone calls, email, etc.

Laptop won't pick up Tmobile wifi but picks up other networks.

All of my other devices connect just fine to the wifi but my laptop won't or can't pick up the signal from the router. I took my laptop to the repair shop and it connected fine to their wifi. I was told if it still didn't connect at home there may be a problem with the router. Anyone have any suggestions.  Laptop is a Toshiba if that helps

Old school prepaid customer trying to upgrade phone to 4G

Hi,   Sorry to try here but the online support chat wouldn’t even talk to me and said I had to call the prepaid phone number instead. Just trying to find out how you go from the old 3G to a new 4G phone. I picked up the cheapest option online but the sim card slot is like a third the size of the sim card in my current phone.Any idea what I’m supposed to do?Thanks for any help.

46 LTE cellspot won't connect

My old cellspot died and after playing around with customer service finally got them to send me a new one.   The new one refuses to connect and I assume it was not activated….keep rebooting etc and no luck.  Support chat isn’t showing up for me even though I used it the other day. HELP!
