I’m downgrading from an iPhone to a flipphone. TMobile Team of Experts told me the Kyocera DuraXTP E4281 would be compatible with the TMobile network. So, I bought two. After several hours across several days, no one at Sprint, TMobile, my local TMobile store or Kyocera can tell me now, if or how the phone can be used on the TMobile/Sprint System.Apparently the DuraXTP doesnt have an IMEI. It has a DEC #, that Kyocera says is used instead of an IMEI. Both Sprint and TMobile say it has to be an IMEI and don’t know what to do with a DEC #.This confuses the heck out of me that no one has a definitive answer. I’d like to be able to use the phones if I can straighten this out. If it’s really not possible to use the phones on the TMobile/Sprint network I’ll mail them back.Has anyone successfully used the Kyocera DuraXTP E4281 on the TMobile network?
Shoot I realized I posted this in the wrong area apologies! Mods feel free to delete as I have posted in the appropriate home internet subforum.Wanted to see if any T-Mobile reps were active in these forums. I have been on the home Internet service for about a month now.I was previously on ATT 4G LTE using a Netgear lb-1121 in bridge mode to my Watchguard firewall. I am an IT engineer and been working almost exclusively from home the last 9 months. So to the point of this post. Current speeds are pretty good for the rural area I’m in. 1 mile from tower as the crow flies and seeing 100 down 60 up. However, I had to totally reconfigure my home network due to the VERY limited configuration available for this gateway. Okay no worries all of that done.I understand this is a Nokia Fastmile gateway with T-Mobile specific firmware on it. I’m currently showing version 1.2003.03.0143 of the firmware. The Fastmile has configuration support for vpn passthrough as well as full bridge mode and other
I just received the new gray addition home internet gateway. So far, I am happy with it. Also, I’m happy to get rid of my Cox internet high priced service. A few questions though.Has anyone figured out how to change the DNS settings? I want to get away from the default Google 220.127.116.11How can you tell if it is using the 4G LTE band or if it is using the 5G band? Status says I’m connected to both but 5G is on secondary. Is their a way to force it to use 5G?
I received a Franklin T9 Test Drive kit yesterday. Upon powering it up, it proceed to a message saying “WELCOME”, then almost connects to LTE, and reboots, over and over. If the sim card is not inserted, the T9 seems to function normally, with access to web admin. Tried resets, changing APN, removing sim card, etc. I’d really like to get this to work! Thanks!
Is there a way to select or force only the 4g network on the Inseego M2000? I’d like to test the speed and signal strength difference between the currently available 5g and 4g bands that are available inside and outside of my home. I could really use this capability/setting. I am rural and have a signal booster to help the 4g, but that does not boost the T-Mobile 5g bands inside of my house.
On the Inseego M2000 MIFI device administration web page, on the About tab it says it is using “Technology: 5G”, but on the DIagnostics tab of that “About” panel it says “Band: N0”: there is no such band supported by T-Mobile (N71 is the only other band I’ve seen, other than “N0”). What does “Band: N0” mean? Is this really suggesting it is using 4G bands? If so where can I see which 4g band is being used? I currently have software version 1Z L18.104.22.168 MSDX55MOR-22.214.171.124 1 [2020-11-07 15:36:46] installed.
Who's using a booster, what booster works best, do boosters work with T-Mobile home internet? I only have two bars and my download speeds average around 26 to 36 but my upload speeds are horrible at only 1.2 upload. Is there any kind of tricks that I'm missing to increase the speeds and to get a better signal? Thank you in advance
To those who are having an issue with your 4G LTE CellSpot suddenly stop working after a power outage or reset on the Spectrum/Charter ISP network, I have a solution. I am an independent network engineer and the solution took over two months to find but it was worth it. T-Mobile requires that your ISP open the following UDP ports 123, 500 and 4500 with 4500 being the main port for access to the T-Mobile server that allows the 4G LTE CellSpot to connect to the internet. With that done, the CellSpot is able to download your configuration files and access your user profile so that you can get cell coverage in your home. People have been complaining that it has taken up to 5 days for the CellSpot to sync and start working. But that is not why to takes so long for the CellSpot to start working. The real reason the CellSpot stops working or takes days to resync is because your profile has become corrupt and it no longer knows your account information on the billing backend of the T-Mobi
Thinking of trying a 4 G security camera because internet is not needed, it uses cell service. the only camera I came across was reolink with solar charger for battery. This needs a separate SIM card. Does that mean I need to add another line to my account. Anyone familiar with this?

Hi,The Alcate's Go Flip's 3 KaiOS operating system does not have a default integrated functionality to notify the end-user periodically about missing calls/messages/other notifications via sound. Here is what I mean: if end-user missed a text message or a call on the Alcatel's Go Flip 3 device, there is no integrated feature built-into the software of the device to periodically have the device beep every few minutes and reminding the end-user that there is a missed call or text. Can you please forward this suggestion to the software develoiper of your Go Flip 3 device to build into the functionality of the device a Missed Notification Reminder to beep periodically to notify end-user of a missed call/message/etc...And once the developer designs this feature to send this with the next Over-The-Air software update to build this feature into the phone with the next software update.I would be very grateful if you can please forward my request to the developer of the KaiOS operating system of
Anyone using t-mobile Virtual Server and having it work? I tried even the basic settings and I can't get it to work. T-mobile says the feature is unsupported....but was curious if that means it just doesn't work.Right now I have it set to point to a simple www hello world just to get it to see if It will display anything.
I have 2 concerns and maybe some other t-mbile user can help me.1. This router seems to have compatibility issues with my samsung s9 using 2.4Ghz frequency... my phone drops the connection and then it says connection with no internet. Sometimes it comes back after turning wifi off or restarting the phone or of course restarting the router. Anyone have any idea?2. I'm concerned that this router has security issues. There haven't been any firmware updates in a loooooong time. The ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware is being updated... last update was 3/10/2020 Version 126.96.36.199.385.20253 to fix CVE-2019-15126 (Kr00k) vulnerability. T-mobile is being extremely irresponsible not allowing people to get updates for these known vulnerabilities. As a customer what should I do? Trash it? Hack it? (yes i know you can do some stuff to force some firmware updates.. but then you have to hack it the next time and the next ... on and on).T-Mobile if you're listening please work with Asus to get us these critical a
About family connect timex watch: the watch shut itself off. We charged it, but the charger light stays red. We have not been able to turn it on. When I check the app, it says the watch/phone is 83% charged. Has anyone experienced this? The unit is 4 months old and still in very good condition. Thanks in advance.

It was working when I received it, and than I changed some settings to try and integrate into my network. I must have screwed something up, because I can no longer get to the admin page. I decided to reset the device to factory settings by using the reset button. I hold it for 5 seconds, per directions, and the 3 lights flash red and the unit reboots. However, when it is back up and running, the default password does not work, and the password I set for the 5ghz network does. And even though I can connect to the wireless network, I cannot access the admin page, or even the internet. How do I do a hard reset on the device or what am I missing?
