T-Mobile scam

T-Mobile ScamI migrated from Xfinity along with my 4 friends on 9-Mar through an online agent. The conversations where so smooth until the order was procured. He even had me buy a new iPhone 15 pro with wring promises of $830 off and $250 of trade-in value. I traded my iPhone 13 Pro 256GB which was in mint condition. But then started my long suffering journey with T-Mobile. The 20 calls I made to get the trade-in money never was successful. Forget the $830 off. T-Mobile still did not pay for my old phone. They accept that the phone is received at their end but never refunded. When it comes to $830 off, they now say that the offer doesn’t exist. T-Mobile is scam. I will never go for T-Mobile.Details of the transaction. Increase Bill Payment

Just got a message that my bill will increase. What benefit I receive, if any, for having to pay more? Aside from just getting the message of “hey we are increasing your bill!” Don’t you guys think we and the consumers deserve an explanation to “why?”

Tmobile app and website not working

What is with T-Mobile’s app and website. I’ve been trying to upgrade my phone, and it never lets me go past the credit card payment window. I’ve tried three valid credit cards and debit cards, still won’t process any! Keep getting a screen that tells me to call customer service. So frustrating!

Is T-Mobile phone replacement real or scam?

Hello,I purchased a phone and a line from T-Mobile in September 2023. In April, the phone went completely black for no apparent reason. When I returned to the shop, I was informed that because I had paid the total cost upfront (prepaid), I did not qualify for a replacement. A friend suggested I call customer care (611) as shops are mainly interested in selling new devices.When I called customer care, I was told that my phone was covered under a two-year manufacturer’s warranty and that I qualified for a replacement. They advised me to return to the shop the next day and said they would coordinate with the shop directly.On my second visit, the representative at the shop was very helpful and called T-Mobile customer care. They confirmed the phone was well-maintained and instructed him to initiate the replacement process. Device Pay back issues since October 2023.

I did an upgrade in October 2023 which I qualified for there promotion for $1000 per device trade in. I sent in 4 devices and i should of received a total of $4000 with in two billing cycles. T Mobile never made that good and keep my trade ins and started charging a monthly installment fees for my new phones, After countless calls I finally got $2000 back and I’m still waiting the the rest to be payback including a follow up calls which I never got. T mobile is billing me for  device payments  and they finally placed me on the wrong promotion that will cheap me out of $1200.00 at the end of the contract. I’m on a $700 per phone instead of $1000 per phone promotion as promised.  This has been a very bad experince for me and I will be doing a story regarding this issue with KTVZ my local news to warn others to stay away from this dishonest company! Countless promises that never happened.

Personal vs. Business

I just switched to T-Mobile from ATT 4 days ago. I noticed that the T-Mobile rep signed me up for a business plan instead of a personal plan when he clearly knows I don’t run a business. Is there a difference? I don’t have a business and use my phone for personal use so should I just keep the business plan or switch to personal?

Autopay

Cannot believe, after years on autopay, they are going to disallow it from my credit card.  AS IF I would give them unfettered access to my bank account! No one pulls money from my bank account although I do PUSH money through autopay from my bank.  If they want the money directly from my bank, I will be glad to mail a paper check for them to process every month (and I hope everyone else does likewise) until I can switch providers.

Phone upgrade issue

On May 2 I went to retail store to upgrade 2 phones on the account. Rep didn’t see anything available for a one military plan and called RSA support and was given a P739 promotion code which gave a 50% discount over 24 months. He hade the conversation on speaker the whole time so i heard the whole conversation.  I do the deal and we rest my old phones to factory setting wiping them clean (old galaxy phones) and they keep old phones for trade. I notice on my account the notice that the 2 trade in devices are still due. I call customer service they say they have not been received they need proof.  I go to store manager provides proof of shipping and then verifies they are at the warehouse.  Call cust care oh yea we have them but they have security locks on them and have to tell them again no phones were factory reset prior to shipping. cust care says just a min let me check then hangs up or we get disconnected after 10 min.  She calls back and states ok phones are fine and bill will be a

Website Login --- Typically Broken, Why?

Google Chrome. Microsoft Edge.  For what seems like years now the ability to log into my business account is hit or miss. SO FRUSTRATING!  I love T-Mobile but this is ridiculous.For a while I could clear my cookies (which I shouldn’t have to do) to resolve the matter.Lately, I give my user, then my password. All seems well until the only thing that shows up on the next page is the footer. The address says it’s my Dashboard page. But nope! Reloading gives an error message. Back button occasionally opens my Dashboard page. But when it does take me to the Dashboard I click “Shop” and get “500 Internal Server Error”.  All I want to do is buy two phones without going to the store or spending forever talking to someone on the phone.Why is it so hard to get your website to work?Can we get John Legere back to drive home permanent fix?

I am not gonna use my prepaid line for a month or two, I am out of the country so I am not able to call without being extra charged here. My question is, if I don’t pay one month, on the next are they gonna change me one or both months? Or should I block my line for that month ? I dont wanna make a mess, since at the end, how am I supose to unblock it without the code by imessage  to enter the website I have a prepaid acount with 2 lines, if that matters

Promotional Card

I just went to use my 200.00 promotional debit card at a store and it asked for my PIN number. I looked online as to how to set pin and it states to look on the back of the card for the website to go to. But I am unable to see the back of the virtual card. Has anyone had this issue? Do I use my PIN from my T Mobile account? Thanks for your help!

Why is Tidal data being recognize as hotspot data?

Hi!I’ve called support a few times about this, and they opened a ticket with a higher level tech support.Basically, what is happening is that data for my Tidal music app is being counted against my Hotspot data and then I’m being rate limited when I hit the monthly limit. It is a pain.I have the Magenta MAX plan, if that matters.I’ve followed the basic trouble shooting via T-Mobile support to reset my network settings.Tech support said that the data usage is showing up as hotspot usage “in one system but not another,” and that’s why they opened a ticket.I have heard back from tech support regarding the status of the ticket and they say there is “no provisioning errors” on the backend.Anyways, I want to be able to use Tidal with my unlimited data and not have it count again my hotspot allotment.And, I’ve verified that no external device is connected via the Wi-Fi hotspot. The hotspot feature has been off all month.I’ve also cleared the cache/local data, uninstalled the app, and reinstal

TMobile Customer Care Email ID

My Bill is way too high after adding the lines.Even there are things in my bill which I already had discussed with customer care agent and they had agreed (at least 3 times in different calls) that this will not come in future and you will get credit for past incorrect billing, those things still keep coming again and again.I need customer care email ID where I can drop the email and get the things correct.On phone it takes hours to get the things correct and post that I dont have proof also what agent has agreed.

Hi,I have purchased 3 devices on contract from T-Mobile on Jan 14th, withthe promise of receiving an $800 credit over 24 months. The accountwas initially in the name of Sonal Ramani, who is my cousin. I alreadyhad an existing account with T-Mobile and upgraded my plan to Go5GNext. During the phone order with a T-Mobile customer carerepresentative, I was assured that I was eligible for the $800 creditwith the Samsung Galaxy S9 device.Subsequently, I contacted customer care to inquire about a 15%discount promotion for Walmart employees, as I work at Walmart. Thecustomer care representative informed me that I needed to transfer theaccount to my name in order to receive the discount. Do you feel scammed by tmobile business?

Ok I’m going to be as detailed as possible so I can see if anyone out there is having the same issue or can potentially help me resolve mine.  On March 3rd 2024 I made a decision to open a T-Mobile business account for my non-profit organization. I’m a Gold Star Child which means I’ve lost a parent to the military & I mention that because it’s the reason I even was interested in doing business with T-Mobile. Many Gold Star organizations sing the companies praises & they also offer us a discount which is something I appreciate even after my less than ideal experience.  It was on the 4th that I went into a physical location in Iowa. The staff there & myself sat there for 3 hours sorting out the details. But at the very end their system in store malfunctioned & they were unable to take any payments. They told me to come in the day after next.  On the 6th I went in again & again we sat for a few hours. Only to be hit again with a roadblock that required someone with mor

Tmobile over promise and cant keep it.

On May 16th, I inquired about a promo for an iPhone without changing my plan. I believe I spoke to Mcalvin. He informed me there was a promo for a free iPhone 15 for adding a line without changing my plan. I even asked him multiple times if there was a catch with the promo, and he specifically told me the only requirement was to add a line, with no need to change my plan. I told him I would call back the next day because I wanted to decide on the color of the iPhone I wanted to buy.On May 17th, I called to buy the iPhone and spoke to Dem. She informed me that she couldn't fulfill the request as she couldn't find the promo. However, she assured me that T-Mobile would honor the promise Mcalvin made on May 16th, as she heard the conversation I had with him. She promised to call me back the next day on May 18th, and even said she would personally call me back after 11 am Chicago time.On May 18th, I was waiting for a call back from Dem at T-Mobile, but unfortunately, nobody called me back.
