I leave for Europe in 2 days. For the last 2 weeks I have been on over 2 hours of calls with T-mobile representatives. My phone is eligible for a simcard unlock and has been for years. For the first week Tmobile reps claimed that there was an issue with my phone and that the fault was with apple. After following up on another 30 minute call a tmobile rep then left me on the phone with an apple rep who after 40 minutes confirmed that apple had absolutely nothing to do with Tmobile being unable to unlock my phone. I call tmobile again, woman puts me on hold to “speak to her supervisor”, then after 20+ minutes without taking me off hold she TRANSFERS me to an irrelevant service line in broadband connections. The broadband connections rep, Jason, was actually super helpful and noted that my phone being an insurance replacement had something to do with the difficulties, and that he would forward the issue to management. He said it should be solved in a matter of hours. Within the hour one o

I'm a t mobile customer, I bought a metro pcs phone thinking it's compatible with t mobile but it's locked.. how do I unlock this metro pcs phone to use on my t mobile account..I called metro pcs and they said I have to wait X amount of days.. is there any other way I can unlock this phone to use for t mobile, instead of waiting those days, even if I have to pay a small fee??
Here is my story as of 8/15/23: I’m a T-Mobile prepaid customer for several years and was happy with the company so far.I lost my phone on 7/15/23 (ouch) and bought a new Motorola razr+ from T-Mobile on 7/16/23 for $999. Since I knew that I will be abroad for several months, it was important to me that I can also use the phone with a non T-Mobile operator. Thus at the shop the salesperson and me carefully read T-Mobile’s “Unlock your mobile device” page (https://www.t-mobile.com/responsibility/consumer-info/policies/sim-unlock-policy). It says:If the device was activated less than 365 days ago, then the Prepaid account associated with the device must have had more than $100 in refills during that period for each line active on the account. In addition, more than 14 days must have passed since the device was purchased.I refilled my account with two payments ($100 and $20), left the US on 28/7/23 and expected to unlock my device 14 days after purchase. Which didn’t work. After hours wit
How can I unlink sprint from my device? In shomrt, I bought this device from someone and he told me that after 50 days, the system will automatically open some new network operator mode, and now everything is fine, but the annoying thing is the OMADM system So I need to remove the sprint files I'm tired of the LTE network content as if it's 2G I am now in the Middle East using a local SIM card. All that is required is that I need to cancel everything related to sprint because I simply do not need it here, and every time OMADM programs appear to me in content (Registering the device with the network) Then at the end of it gives me this error (Connection Error (6601)) I can not contact technical support does not support this area,
I signed up as a member, but I can't access the simunlock request page without a t-mobile’s phone number. Should I sign up for a t-mobile’s phone number for simunlock? I'm working abroad now,so I have a phone number from another country, but can't I check it with that?iCloud has registered, i registered to find my phone, and i registered on the app, but i can't use another company's sim because it has a t-mobile's sim lock. Should I buy a t-mobile's sim card online and apply for sim unlock?
I have now had two lengthy, detailed in-app chats with customer support in an effort to complete unlocking my wife’s iPhone. In each conversation, I was assured I would get email instructions within 24 hours for executing the unlock. What’s the deal? Do the customer support reps just tell you anything to get rid of you?
I submitted an unlocking request to the T-mobile expert on July 17th. After checking with the customer service expert, they said they met the unlocking requirements and were given a 72 hour waiting time to complete the submission. However, they have not unlocked it yet. I have contacted customer service multiple times and contacted online customer service on the website, all of which were asking to wait for 72 hours to fully unlock it, but none of them have been unlocked. After only chatting with Twitter for a few words, I will no longer reply to the message! Why didn't I submit an unlock request to you as a customer of T-mobile and not provide a solution! And my equipment meets the requirements and is clean! I am very angry! The following is the Chat log with t-mobile
Hello, I have a OnePlus Nord N10 I paid off a few months ago. I was planning to give it to a friend, but when I go through the device unlock feature in the app and the devices Settings it still says it's Locked to the carrier. It was paid off completely from my account in April or May. I upgraded to a OnePlus 10T months earlier in November last year. So I just paid off the rest of the balance recently. But I can unlock the phone. If the phone is completely paid off why can't I unlock it? Isn't the main requirement to pay off the balance? What is the reason they won't unlock the phone?

Hello. Some time ago, I was handed a really old T-Mobile phone by a family member. Specifically, a Nokia 6010 from 2004. It neither had a SIM card nor a battery, both I was able to procure (I had an old Cingular (now AT&T) SIM card lying around and bought a battery on eBay). Of course, the phone was/is still locked to T-Mobile’s network, and with the SIM inserted, asks for an unlock code. Not being a T-Mobile customer, and based on other posts I’ve seen here, I would assume that unlocking will not be possible. Then again, I’m not sure, considering the phone hasn’t been used since the early 2000s, and that it predates T-Mobile’s current unlocking policy by many, many years.
A few years ago, T-Mobile had a “5G for free” promotion. All our DDs were 5G already, but promotion just asked for any working phone to be sent in and T-Mobile would ship a 5G phone. I traded in a 4G phone we had as a backup should a DD become damaged, lost, or otherwise unusable while we shopped/waited for a deal on a replacement. The free 5G was a Galaxy A32. Free meaning each normal 24-month regular purchase payment was offset by a matching credit from T-Mobile. Never used the A32, just powered it up now and then to get software updates. After the final payment I attempted to unlock the A32. The procedure just gave a cryptic error code and a broken link to get more info. I called CS and after a bunch of head scratching got bumped up to a higher level of support. They just head scratched for a while until finding some fine print in internal documents saying a phone has to be in service to be unlocked AND in service status can take 40 days to register. Needless to say, a customer is no
