The magic of cell phones is that they are our companion wherever we go. They connect us to friends and family, work, entertainment, and everything in between. Cell phones have also been a convenient place for us to store our treasures like pictures and music. Changing phones can be a headache, which is why unlocking our devices is so important if we are traveling to other countries or changing wireless providers.Let's take a look at the requirements and processes for unlocking your phone.Eligibility requirementsTo network unlock your device, you must first meet certain eligibility requirements. Some of the requirements are different based on your account type, but some things don't change. The device must be sold by T-Mobile. It mustn't be reported as lost, stolen, or broken. The account associated to the device must be in good standing. T-Mobile may need proof of purchase or some additional information, but most of the time the unlock process is seamless and easy.If you are on a postp
I recently received a new update for android 12 & oxygen 12 for my oneplus 9 pro. Now I have a list of bugs and issues happening. I have read a lot of the same complaints here on the forum and other sites from oneplus 9 pro/ t mobile users experiencing the same thing. Just to list a few…… screen brightness changes for no reason, operational and navigational lag, refresh rate (120) slows down periodically, finger print reader and face unlock will randomly stop working. What is the game plan for t mobile to send out fixes to an update I didn’t need? This is ridiculous.
I bought Iphone 14 pro in September and I moved to Indonesia. So I fully paid for my phone before I came here and when I was paying for the device, t mobile expert said that it has been fully unlocked. On my setting, it still says SIM Locked and it is not working here. I called T mobile more than 10 times, they say that it’s been fully unlocked but my phone says it is still locked! I even tried to scan a new esim on the phone it says I need to contact the original carrier to unlock the phone. Every time I called all they say is the device is fully unlocked. I was even connected to Apple experts but they could not help me with anything. Apple suggested me to reset the phone, which I have tried. Now I don’t know what to do. It’s been more than two weeks and I’m not able to use this phone that I’ve paid $1000 for. Please help!!!
I have been getting a pop up box that says Tmobile temporary unlock expired. A response box of ok is available for a response, but most often the box does not respond to my clicking okay. I will then have to lock and unlock my screen or restart the phone to get the box to go away. It may come back within minutes or several hours from that point. I googled reasons for the box, but note I never traveled outside my home area, nor requested a temp. Unlock for any reason. When I couldn't solve this after several weeks I spent time on phone with TMobile support. The person helping me could not solve it after trying all of his strategies. Then I went to a TMobile store and they also did not know, but did put a new SIM card in to see if that worked. It did not. This started when I got a new Revvl 5 phone which has so many other problems I can't imagine this isn't one as well. This phone delays text messages, often prevents callers from hearing each other and must be restarted. It's l
T-Mobile support cannot unlock Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra purchased from Samsung.I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra from Samsung locked for T-Mobile.I enabled ESIM.Then I tried to unlock the phone myself but was getting error message that the phone or IMEI was not on T-Mobile system. Contacted both T-Mobile support and Samsung support several times. T-Mobile support repeated that they could not unlock the phone because it was purchased from Samsung. Samsung support repeated that they legally cannot unlock the phone because the phone is used in T-Mobile network and only T-Mobile can unlock the phone. Contacted T-Mobile Technical support and they cannot help either. Each time T-Mobile said they were escalating the issue and I have to wait 24 to 48 hours. But no luck. My wife is in South Korea and she cannot use a local SIM in her phone.Any suggestion?
Hello,I’m running out of options to unlock my iPhone that I paid in full through Best Buy. I have contacted Tmobile 4 times and its still locked. They said it’s fully unlocked but its still showing Sim locked. I don’t know what else to do because every time its the same process that they will submit the request and wait for approval and then nothing happens.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A14 5G. I personally didnt buy it from the store but it's paid for. When I try to network unlock either permanently or temporarily it says unable to because of code 6. What is code 6 and how can I get around this. I need it unlocked for one reason only and that is because I have a government SIM card from Qlink and I would like to be able to use it in my phone every now and then. Otherwise I will have to resort to other methods and flash my phone with Odin.
Is it possible to unlock the second sim on an iPhone 14? I am looking for a second phone number with no data and T-Mobile doesn’t offer a resonable plan. DIGITS won't work because I have no data service in my area. I understand the phone needs to be paid off but it doesn't make sense to pay the phone off if they are going to continuously do a promotion to keep you in a contract. I'll likely never pay a phone off while on T-Mobile so it sounds like I’d never be able to use the second sim with another provider or if I travel and want to pick up a sim. Any way to at least unlock the second sim?
Sprint says the phone has been unlocked but the phone refuses to unlock. When I try it says “SIM unlocking could not be completed. Please try again later. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Servicge. Error: Internalr Error (407)” I bought this phone about a month ago, it was supposed to be unlocked three days afthecr I bought it, but the problem has persisted. I got screenshot of the note from the seller that the unlock was complete. I’ve tried putting in two different Boost Mobile cards (my carrier), but with the same problem. It won’t even try to unlock without a SIM in it. I’ve tried resetting it with the dialer code (##72786#) with no effect. The seller has now become very nasty and is not willing to help me any longer. Boost Mobile has been no help and Sprint won’t talk to me because I don’t have an account. I’m just noat sure what else I can do. Any suggestions?
hi, need to tap your collective wisdoms.I have 3 iphone 12 pro, all from t-mobile, one of them was replaced by apple store, under warranty. Account in good standing, all 3 EIP finished on May 2023, i can unlock 2 of them, but the one that was replaced in the apple store is not showing up in T-Mobile database. It shows, STATUS UNKNOWN, Device is not in our system. About 3 weeks ago—my first call, the CS “forced” the imea to unlock in the system. I said “forced”, because the first time she inputted the number, she said the system would not accept it, then after 2 more tries, the system accepted it. Since then, after numerous calls with other CSs, T-force, conference calls with Applecare. T-mobile says that IMEA is fully unlocked, but the phone still shows SIM LOCKED in the status page of my account, after erasing the phone ddd 7+ times, with a sim in w/o a sim in. Applecare says the phone works, no hardware errors. The phone has been working over 1 year and half, since it was exchanged u
Did sprint work with T-Mobile? Why do I query that the operator lock is T-Mobile, but I install T-Mobile SIM card and say it doesn't support what???
Hello, my mobile phone was originally a sprint operator contract machine. Aren't sprint and T-Mobile working together? Why can't I use the T-Mobile card now? Is it because your database does not save my mobile phone information, my contract period has expired. Can you unlock the SIM card for me? My device is iPhone11 IMEI: 35398110 0713803, hoping to unlock it for me. I'm going to study in Japan. Thank you very much 🙏
I'm a t mobile customer, I bought a metro pcs phone thinking it's compatible with t mobile but it's locked.. how do I unlock this metro pcs phone to use on my t mobile account..I called metro pcs and they said I have to wait X amount of days.. is there any other way I can unlock this phone to use for t mobile, instead of waiting those days, even if I have to pay a small fee??
I live in South Korea and my aunt gave me her iphone 12 pro max from USA.She passed away, so it is keepsake from my aunt. After I received it, I noticed that there is carrier lock and sim card is from T-mobile.There are 2 IMEI numbers for each physical sim and available sim.Due to this lock, my sim was not workable here in Korea.Although I asked Apple technical support, they informed that it is carrier lock and it must be unlocked by the carrier, then I can use this iphone here in Korea. Please kindly advise if it can be unlocked by T mobile and can I ask it to T mobile since my aunt passed away who was the original owner. Thank you.
