plan for out of country

I’m going to Bahamas for a week in couple days. I’m wondering that can I use T mobile to contact when I over there? Or I have to sign ip for any special plan?

Dropped calls to CoxVOIP land phone

I have two T-Mobile phones. I can call my area code 405 Cox home phone from my 404 area code phone and it goes through okay.  However when I call from my area code 770 phone the call gets dropped after a few rings. Both cell phones are located in Oklahoma, area code 405. Cox has checked all equipment at home and everything works.  Calls to the house phone from other cell phones also work okay.  Di I have a problem with my phone or could it be a T-Mobile network issue?  Both phone are Android.

The new app for TMHI sucks

Where is the connection quality bars on the new app. I dont appreciate all the marketing and garbage in the new app. I just want good internet, focus on that rather than giving me free! Come on Tmobile, get ur act together.

Google Chrome takes forever to load on Home Internet

When I am using 5G Home Internet, Google Chrome takes forever to load.  When using Firefox or another browser, they work fine. If I switch over to a different internet service provider, Chrome loads as normal.

VOIP Stopped Working

For a year I had been successfully using VOIP on TMHI with an OBI200 and VOIP.MS. My VOIP stopped a couple of weeks ago.After spending hours with VOIP.MS support (very helpful support, stuck with me!) and replacing the OBI device with a Grandstream HT801, I’ve still not been able to get VOIP to work.The support team and internet searches point to TMHI as the problem., They changed something recently. TM support is no help, and denies any problems with VOIP services.  Their solution is to reboot!I’ve tried forum suggestions about using encrypted connections, with no luck.Before I cancel TMHI, any help?

Printer Stopped Connecting to Wifi

Now, whenever I try to reconnect, it says that it failed the MAC address filtering check.My Gateway is Arcadyan KVD21, which according to some other questions I’ve seen asked, doesn’t have those kinds of access controls.I’ve got a 2.4g band set up which is what the printer needs, and confirmed that the printer supports the WPA3-SAE security type I’ve got set up.The frustrating part is that when I switched to T-Mobile back in November, the printer connected just fine. We don’t use it super often, so it’s not clear when this issue arose. The printer is an Epson ET-4800. Before I call up Epson support and have them tell me it’s the fault of the gateway, is there anything else I should try?

splitting 2-4 and 5g

I set up a 5g and a separate 2-4 connection. However it keeps making one of these dual 2-4 and 5g. How can I make it to where it is either 2-4 or 5g, not both? Thanks.

5G Home Internet

Tomorrow is the BIG day!  I get to close my T Mobile account and happily send their modem back to them. They have made no effort to resolve my constant dropping off. I actually typing this while using my Verizon 4G hot spot. It is way faster and more reliable. . So very disappointed.

No promos for existing customers

One of the reasons my family switched to TMobile is because they advertised that existing customers get the same promos as new customers.  Well that lasted for a little bit and know they are just like the other carriers.  No benefit for being a longtime customer.  And today I received a test that my bill is going up $5 per line. I understand and appreciate that it hasn’t increased in 10 years, but now I have less benefits and the price is increasing.  TMobile I thought you were better than the other carriers!

Really now T-Mobile?

The price I signed up for was guaranteed not to increase. The price/plan for the 55+ Magenta was $35/line (tax & fees included) guaranteed never to go up.  First you screw us for additional fees if paid by credit card.Most on the above plan use very little if any data and utilize any of the so called perks that are offered.  We just want good reliable service at the agreed price.In the process of dumping my T-Mobile stock.

Increase in Price for 55+ ($50/mo for 1 line)

Got a text message stating $5 increase/mo.  Called rep.  Was told “due to inflation...”  I asked why because when I was told when I signed up in 10/2018 it was for life.  “Sorry about that.  See our terms and conditions on the website.”  I said I wanted the terms and conditions from 2018.  I asked for a copy of my contract that I signed.  “We don’t have access to that.”  (What??)  I have filed a complaint with the FCC also.  This is infuriating.

returned WIFI TO STORE. NOW YOU ARE TRYING TO BILL ME FOR IT. STORES HAS IT. YOU TELL ME THEY CAN NOT SEND IT BACK TO WAREHOUSE WITHOUT ME GOING BACK TO THE STORE. BULL . IT HAS A USP STICKER TO RETURN TO WAREHOUSE FOR FREE.MAKERS N O SENSE. YOU HAVE ITEM YOU THREATEN TO CHARGE ME,YOU ARE LOSING A GOOD CUSTOMER AND I WILL MAKE SURE YOU LOSE A LOT MORE.I HAVE RECEIPT SHOWING THEY  HAVE IT.

Network Password

Just downloaded the new T-Life app and logged into my home router.  Does it seem weird that it displays my network password along with the network name? I chose stay logged in...maybe I shouldn't have done that. The old app just shows asterisks for the password.

VPN and Outlook

I just got T-Mobile internet. When I log onto Outlook and VPN my email disconnects. This used to be a problem when connecting to hot spot with T-Mobile and some how it eventually resolved. I’m going to have to return the Gateway and cancel internet if I can’t get VPN access to work correctly. Frustrating because I only seem to have the problem with T-Mobile. Anyone experiencing the same problem?

popup chats not working

Since switching to t-mobile internet, I can’t get popup chats to work on any browser on my pc or phone. I made sure browser settings allowed pop-ups but still no joy.  Is there a setting in t-mobile’s internet that is not allowing pop-up chats on internet browsers?  I noticed a “javascriptvoid(0)” note in the status line when I clicked on a chat.

How to Set up Network Storage with my TMobile home gateway

I have the newer Gateway (arcadia I believe). I also have two additional access points/routers hardwired to the gateway. I have recently connected an 4tb external hard drive to the gateway but I cannot find any options in T-Life app to configure this drive give it a static IP. Any suggestions?

5G Home Internet

After ditching Brightspeed and their 15mbps speeds, we were thrilled to get T-Mobile 5G home internet. Worked like a champ for about 6 months. It has been almost worthless for the last 4 weeks or so. This is our 7th month. I have called countless times to always speak to a pleasant tech support specialist. They are so nice and quite capable of helping you restart your gateway. That’s about it. Whenever I ask about my logged internet drops and slow speeds, I get nada. They acknowledge they can look at it but never address what they see. It is always “a tower issue in my area”. It has been almost unusable for the last few days. We are disappointed. It has gotten so bad that I will go with Starlink for three times the money plus equipment costs. We have no other options. We are located about a mile from our town, with fiber everywhere except by our house. Spectrum offered us a deal at $7500 to bury cable to our property! So, I will return the T-Mobile gear as soon as I get my link up and
