I have a Falcon Z 917 Hotspot purchased in 2019. The battery is now dead. Would you just replace the battery, or do I need to consider a newer model? Looking at the limited doc, I see “portable”. There’s no description of that. - Is that the reason it needs a battery? Thanks
I purchased a MiFi® X PRO hotspot in December 2022. At that time, the T-Mobile customer service rep told me I qualified for the promotion “UMTS Network Retirement - $200 off any BTS device” and that I’d get a $200 credit to my account. I’ve never received the credit, even after chatting with customer service at least 3 times since then.Today, a customer care representative told me that I didn’t qualify for that promotion because the hotspot is not a “BTS device”. Does anyone know whether a hotspot qualifies as a BTS device? I feel deceived!
Hey everyone, I disabled my work computer from my internet over the weekend. I am now trying to reconnect but when I try to connect to my network my laptop says “Can’t connect to this network” and now my laptop will not show up on my Devices in the T-mobile app. I did a factory reset on my gateway and it is still not connecting. Any tips? Thanks!
Hi all,I am visiting from the UK next month and I am looking at buying a US sim as I have a dual SIM redmi note 10 Pro. I've tried to find out in forums and web pages all over the place to find out if my phone would be compatible on T-Mobile (as it seems the one that would be most likely to work due to having 5 bands that are compatible and reading that Verizon etc doesn't work full stop). Does anyone have a definitive answer to this? Tia
I have had this issue for two weeks now, and you can’t see to be able to solve it. I have two personal cell spots in my two offices, one is fine the other one is been having connectivity issues for two weeks, I called to have it replaced, they send me one and the address was wrong I updated the address it worked for two days and now is not working, I called on Thursday March 31,2022 I spoke with Arjohn he assured me he did the order and I will get a new one, I just called and the lady that answer the phone told me that I do not have an order place that she will transfer me to the technical dept that they will take care of it. I am done with you guys I been a faithful customer for over 10 years I think is time to part ways you guys do not respect or treat your customers right, I am sick and tired that you can resolved my issue, I asked to speak with a supervisor and she told me that all the supervisors are in a meeting and she can’t interrupt, is ok do not interrupt but there is somethi
My son has been locked out of playing competitive games in MLB the show 23 on his PS5 for about a week now and I can’t find any fix. When he tries to get in the game it will find him an opponent, but then displays a message “Challenge Failed” and boots him. I cannot find any fixes online anywhere and am wondering if this is (another) gaming issue caused by having 5G internet rather than more standard Wi-Fi? Does anyone have any ideas? I already have done everything I can think of, including deleting the game and reinstalling from scratch thanks in advance!
I have a Pixel XL that was originally Project Fi. I switched to TMobile two weeks ago and my group MMS are not downloading, either on wifi or mobile. Sometimes they come through, other times I have to go to the individual messages and download them. 90% of the time, they fail to download. I've done all the troubleshooting, including resetting the network and creating the new APN from this forum. My husband has the same phone and same network and is not having this issue. The message app also crashes after a few tries at downloading.Google support was not helpful, telling me I can't use wifi for MMS, which is incorrect because I've always used wifi. Plus, it's also happening on data.Below is the APN I have done according to TMobile support doc. Although, my phone does not have a "MMS protocol" option. This helped my phone to be able to receive them more frequently, although, I still have to download them.Android APN settingsOpen the Access Point Names or APNs menu.In Settings, look unde
I use a Franklin T9 hotspot to remotely control the thermostat in my cabin. Occasionally the power goes out for an extended period of time, and the hotspot battery dies. I then need to manually turn it back on again. Is there a way to set it up such that it restarts automatically when the power comes back on? Thx.
I have a hotspot with a 100gb 5g data plan. The sales man told me that after the 100 gb were used I would switch automatically to LTE network with “unlimited data.” Observably, this does not appear to be the case. This month I crossed the 101 gb mark, and the internet speed dropped to 0.10 MBS! I have “factory reset” the hotspot device, removed and updated the Windows 10 network adapters, and changed from WiFi to USB tether. I can rule out issues with the computer because, I can connect my cell phone hotspot (Verizon) without an issue and with 71.1 MBS on a LTE network. I suspect T-Mobile is data throttling. I did call customer service. I waited on hold for more than 50 minutes, and then the service person hung up on me!
5G21 Gateway has lost connection four times today. The power has not gone out. Usually I have to restart the gateway every 2 or 3 days because it gets real slow or looses connection. I read that these can overheat? I read some people have put an extra fan on it. That should not have to be an option. Do I need a new gateway? My T-mobile phone connection has been fine.
