My ex got my daughter a SyncUp watch and added me as a Guardian. I also got a SyncUp watch for our other daughter and added my ex as a Guardian. On the watch my ex purchased I show up as both “Dad” and “Scott”. I am only in the contacts once. She can send a test to both and I receive them both. It seems to be messing up the watch. How can we fix that?
My 2014 Kia Sorento has been fine since I purchased almost 2 years ago. I got the SyncUP Drive maybe a few months ago, has been fine until this month. First: car did not want to accelerate but it did slowly and eventually got to the speed I needed to be BUT rpm was not moving at all. I left the car for 5-6 hours then started it and drive it just fine. 20 mins from home…I was a nervous wreck! Second: I drove less than a mile and noticed the 4WD Warning System Light on. I got home, turned the car off and tried to restart but it wouldn’t. Just kept making a clicking noise then the dash lights spazzed & started buzzing. I was able to shut my windows but very slowly so I left the car alone for 5-10mins then tried to start the car again and it started. Now today 4/14/23, the car turned off WHILE driving!! I’ve had the Ft10 for several months watching many movies and computer internet never using up the .49 gb (500mb plan per month) Now that we have been forced off the reliable sprint network onto tmobile the Ft10 has suddenly started using enormous amounts of data tm upgrades the plan and yet it’s using data line NEVER before in the 8 months plus use Recently they upgraded me to the 10 gb plan but without EVER answering why the sudden data increase Sprint sold me the device saying it would never use up the 500mb and it never has until the promised “no changes” in the switch to T-Mobile it’s always had a tmobile sim I suspect there switch altered/CHANGED the data usage GIVE ME BACK WHAT EE HAD!!! and why can’t I check the data usage on the Ft10 via the web or the app??!!?? I can check the usage on my two iPhones but not the hotspot??!!??
I got my youngest daughter a SyncUp watch and my ex got my oldest daughter a SyncUp watch. I sent her a Guardian invite and she sent me a Guardian invite. All good so far. Then my oldest daughter asked me to add Grandpa and Grandma, turns out Guardians can’t add Contacts? Why in the world would that be? Can you please add functionality for Guardians to add Contacts?
My Syncup app started giving me this message after an update in December 2022. After two weeks working with customer service and going to Tmobile stores I was told it was an issue affecting some iphones and that I needed to wait for the next update to the app. I was just able to update the app (March 2023 - 3 months later!) and I am still having the same problem. I am planning to terminate the watch plans for my children because I was only able to use the service promised for a couple of weeks before they made it worthless with an update. Tired of having customer service ask me to delete/reinstall the app and restart my phone. Is there a quick fix that no one is telling me?
Hi, i set up school mode for both of my kids watches months ago. The school mode has always worked. But their schedule has changed so I need to alter the school mode. But what I've scheduled no longer shows up on the school mode tab on the app. My kids watches are still going on school mode as I've originally scheduled it. How can I delete or alter the school mode when nothing is showing up on the school mode tab? I've attached a screen shot. Thank you!!
I’ve been using my Sync Up Tracker for about a year and now it doesn’t change anymore. The cable hasn’t been subjected to any damage. It just doesn’t charge the Tracker now. Unfortunately, it takes some kind of bizarre electrical connection so I can’t just use a normal micro USB or USB C type cord. And of course it spontaneously goes offline all the time without warning but I don’t think I’m going to get any help on that - I see people complaining about that all the time and the company just ignores them. I’d just be happy now if it charged.
I recently bought a Sync up tracker. It has randomly gone offline randomly a couple times. Battery still has 30-40% charge when it does it, and the only way I can get it back online is to put it on a charger and hold the power button down. It happens after the tracker has been stationary for 2-3 days. Anyone have thoughts on what causes this?
I have tried to set up a Bed Time “School Mode” BUT every night it shuts off at midnight. My kids use their watches as alarms to get up for school. However, they have been caught playing on them after bed time. So I need the watch in school mode from bed until time to wake up for school. Can you not set a school mode for over night?
I'm using an Envisalink to manage and monitor my home alarm system on my mobile phone. I’m considering switching to the Nexx Smart Alarm. T-Mobile Home Internet has begun blocking ports so the Envisalink does not work. Will the Nexx Smart Alarm work with T-Mobile Home Internet? Nexx uses ports 443 and HTTP ports 80 / 8080.Also, for future reference, is there anyway to know, in advance, what works and does not work with T-Mobile Home Internet?
our 9 year old son dropped the original sync watch yesterday and the screen cracked. The watch will not turn on. tmobile store said they wouldn’t replace it or contribute money to replacing it. TMobile, listen, these are kids wearing an expensive device. This product was made by TMobile. I’m sure this gadget is cheap to produce especially if tmobile is the manufacturer.. Why do you not have more affordable insurance or warranty coverage for a kids device? I’m sure we could easily send this device in and you could easily repair with a low cost. The store said insurance would be $12 a month on this kids watch if we bought it new. After a year, that’s $144 spent for a cheap plastic watch. do you want to keep a faithful tmobile customer or not? You need better coverage for a KID device where KIDS make stupid decisions and the product is made by the carrier. this is insane.
Just bought a Syncup Kids watch and I could not get the App on my Galaxy S22 Ultra to login to complete the pairing of the watch. Repro Steps:Start the watch and it will ask you to install the Syncup Kidds app on your phone and follow the instructions on the app Installed the app and run App will ask you to login to T-Mobile account Login with my email/phone number and password After about 1min, error message comes up- “Oh oh, something went wrong. Please try again. If persist, please contact customer care”After spending about 4hrs with 3 different customer reps, they escalated the issue but still no resolution. Has anyone here ran into this issue and got it resolved?
I'm trying to use the new SyncUp T-mobile watch app and the task menu (and alarms) are not able to be turned off and on? I don't want to have to delete them and add them again, if there is a way to just toggle between active and inactive until I need to turn it on for my son. Anyone figure out if it's possible?
I use this watch to be able to track my son’s location when he’s outside playing, on school field trips, etc. Airplane mode was just enabled on his watch. THIS IS NOT A HELPFUL TRACKING DEVICE IF I CANNOT DISABLE AIRPLANE MODE FROM MY APP. God forbid something bad happened and a person took his watch and put it on airplane mode, I can no longer contact him, or him contact me, or even track his location. I feel that Airplane Mode should be something that is a.) controlled by the app, or b.) removed from the watch completely. The sole purpose of this thing for me is tracking. Suggestions???
I have had this unit for several month. Being that it is a “Mobile” Internet device, it has spent much time in my purse in case of emergency. I recently purchased some home security devices and figured this would be the best use for this device and we have already maxed out the 10 device limit on the main router. Now let me explain:#1 problem - the BS mobile.hotspot link or the 192.168.0.1 IP.. Neither work to open the admin page for my device.Yes, I have checked my security settings, and allowed special permissions just for this device.I have done a hard reset.The device is fully charged.All lights that can turn blue are turning blue.I can even get my phone to occasionally connect to the 2.4GHz SSID.That being said; Devices connected or not, it turns off usually within a minute or 2.It barely stayed on long enough to connect and get my camera set up before it turned back off.I want to also make it clear that I have attempted to utilize this device at several different locations with t
Ok so recently I got my hands on a SyncUp Pets device and got it added to our account. The app is telling me that there is firmware update available for the device, and there is a more info button but when you click on it, it is blank.I have successfully connected it multiple times to WIFI and have triple clicked the button to manually start the update, but it will not update. I have given it more than enough time (Days) and still nothing.I figured, well maybe my internet provider is filtering out the connection, so I setup a second DDRT based wireless access point and configured it and the modem so it would be a DMZ connection (in other words a straight connection to the internet with no chance of ANYTHING blocking it).I can now see and monitor the device on Active Clients and it shows a varying number of connections that it is trying (up to 10 at a time) but no specifics as to what or where its connecting. I have let it stayed connected, but still it will not complete an update..Has
I've had my son's watch for a little less than 1 months, it has worked perfectly until now. We went on a cruise and he didn't wear his watch at all except the first day or 2. Eventually the battery died and we just left it alone until we got home. Charged it completely and now when I turn it on it goes to a screen that says "The device is corrupt. It cannot be trusted and will not boot. If no key is pressed, it will reboot in 5 seconds." But it never reboots. It stays on that screen for maybe 10 seconds and then turns back off. Anyone experienced the same?
I had a sync up tracker that I loved so I decided to get another one, I had to call Tech Support because the new one wouldn't connect. The text support guy fixed it in a matter of just a minute or 2 but them my original tracker stopped tracking. I called Tech Support again and the lady there had no idea what she was doing she managed to get both of the trackers not working. I called support a 3rd time amd she got it almost fixed but then she had me uninstall the app and reinstall it and now all the app says is, "something seems to be wrong please try again later" I have 0 for 2 working trackers now and an app that will not load right.
Just really annoyed that my kids Sync Up watch is not charging for the last two days. It is on the cradle, being hooked to a charger for the last two days and the watch still says low charge and wont budge from that message. What can I do at this point? I have tried two different cable and charger.
