Have had my new Revvl V+ 5G phone for about 2 months now, and for the most part, it is GREAT! However, every once in a while, I’ll notice some of my contacts go missing. (I first noticed when the text messages from my husband stopped showing his name and just the phone #. It then happened for some of my co-workers, a couple of friends, etc.) And it isn’t a one-time occurrence, this is randomly happening every week or two. Any thoughts as to why, or how to correct? Thanks!
About a month or so ago my conditional call forwarding for unanswered calls stopped working. I have had it working for years and was able to send them to Google Voicemail to handle. I did nothing and one day I noticed it no longer worked. I have tried the GSM codes, the call forwarding on my phone, etc and get modem_err or other error codes. I can still forward unavailable or busy calls it is only the unanswered that doesn’t work. Anyone else have this issue and been able to solve it?
I am experiencing something weird with my phone.. whenever I am on a conversation, if i put the phone to my ear, the screen seems to have a life of its own. It turns on and when my cheek touches some part of the screen, it clicks something. sometimes it makes the brightness zero, sometimes it calls a random number and sometimes it puts the other person on hold.. It’s just weird. I cannot not put the phone to my ear / cheek. it’s becoming very irritating. Anyone else experiencing this?
For the last month, my phone's battery life has become shorter. It used to easily make it through the day, now it often needs a charge by evening. This is going to be a problem, because I'm planning to travel, and want to take pictures with my phone, and may not have a chance to recharge during the day. When I check battery usage in the Android settings, the T-Mobile app is now always at the top, far above any other app. Today, it says the T-Mobile App has used 41% of my battery (when the phone dropped to 15% charge by 5PM), using 996 mAh. The next highest app used 5%. It wasn't like this until the last month.I do remember an update to the app a while ago, and was prompted whether to allow diagnostics, etc. I initially allowed this. Then, I tried to turn this off, in case the data collection was using my battery. I went to app settings, diagnostics, and unchecked agree under Device Data Collection. When I do this, the next button changes to a close button. I press close. But if I reo
I just got a new v60 device. The settings for turning on predictive text are NOT easy to find. I have solved the problem. Here’s how to do it. step by step.1- on the home screen, tap settings (gear icon)2- scroll to the bottom, tap “system”3- look for and tap Language & keyboard4- tap Manage keyboards5- Make sure LG keyboard is turned on. if not, turn it on by sliding switch to the right.6- once LG keyboard is on, tap it7- look for additional settings towards bottom of the page. tap on this8- make sure Word suggestions is on. if not, turn it on. then tap on it DONE!!!NOTE: This will work on both the dual screen and single screen models. Not sure if it is the same process on other LG phones. Good Luck everyone.
I have been using Android phones forever and recently purchased a REVVL 5G which runs Android 10. Apps that I run like OneDrive, SMS Backup and Sync, PocketCasts, Tempest Weather, and others need to run in the background to backup photos, SMS, download podcasts overnight, alert on weather from my weather station etc. What is happening is that if you launch the app the backup processes work, alerts come in etc. Then eventually while not using the apps their background tasks are being killed by Android. I have validated that the battery saver is off for these apps since that is what every support site for the apps say to do. So if you look at this image for SMS Backup and Restore the battery management is off: But whey the app tries to perform it’s daily backup of the SMS messages: And vendor of the app has confirmed that the correct battery setting for the App and the System is correct so there is something going on here with the Phone/Android. These apps worked just fine on my olde
New Samsung 21 5 phone - trying to make it work like my Sansung S10. I have groups setup that i want to keep private. When i send a message to the group i want a text to send to each recipient - not a group text. i don’t want others to see who is getting the same text message. I was able to do this on my S10 but it doesn’t seem to work on my S21. I have turned off ‘group conversation’ in multimedia settings and tested it. It didn’t work and recipents were able to see who else got it and their responses. Please advise. Theresa Garrison
Anyone have any ideas? I can't call or text on 5G UC. It's shows signal and on network but nothing works. I had to disable 5G and reboot my phone to get it to work. The Pixel also has trouble moving from wifi calling to mobile and will say disconnected like this even though it shows mobile connectivity. Pixel 6 Pro. Purchased from and shipped by T-Mobile. On T-Mobile network. Northern Colorado.
I typically have my phone set on vibrate. Prior to the update to 12, the phone would vibrate when I received a notification. That no longer happens post-update. So far I have tried restarting and messing around with the Notification settings in Android and in the individual apps. This is an issue with all apps by the way, such as Google Messages, Gmail, etc. Has anyone else had this issue?
Not only do the to come built-in worthen the T-Mobile branded phone they also do some very interesting stuff such as attempting to connect online once in awhile even though I do not run them at all. Somebody should be really ashamed about this no? How is T-Mobile okay with being in the bed with Facebook apps finding their own servers without the user's even opening the app installer or at manager. All the funniest thing I've ever seen is calculator trying to connect to some server. There is some more interesting things on my phoneservices, com.lge.ims.rcsprovider, com.qualcomm.qcrilmsgtunnel, com.qualcornm.qti.autoregistration, com.qualcomm.qti.telephonyservice, com.qua|comm.qti.uim, Conference URI Dialer, Device Info, EchoLocate, GBAService, LG IMS, MmsService, Multi-line Service, Network, Phone/ Messaging Storage, SIM Toolkit, Wi-Fi Calling Provider, Wi-Fi Calling Camera com.|ge.upse||com.tmobile.pr.adapt Call management, Call screen. Hi! This AM I received two weird test messages from the TMobile app. The first read “test” for the subject then “test’ for the message. On an old device, I saw a second test message come in as well - same subject and text but also had a little blue folder with black up arrow inside it. Is this happening to anyone else?

I just got a SIM card for Tmobile and ported my number over from Verizon. When I inserted the SIM number it came with its own phone number. I was told that the number is not in service and my phone number was ported in. I selected my phone number in my profile, however, the SIM phone number still shows up on my profile and in the phone's settings. I cannot delete or remove this number. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+. Does anyone know of any work arounds or how to delete the number? Does it go away after a certain amount of time?
My phone (LG-V30) gives me way too many alerts telling me "Calls will be made over Wi-Fi". I seem to get this every time my phone connects to Wi-Fi, and sometimes multiple times when my phone should already be on Wi-Fi. Sometimes I get this alert every few minutes. I get so many of these alerts I usually ignore alerts from my phone. This alert is not useful information. The alert comes with a message "tap here to access preferences". If I tap this gives me an option to turn off Wi-Fi calling, but not to turn off the alert. I've also looked through settings and found options to turn off alerts from apps. I turned off alerts from app "T-Mobile", but this doesn't affect this alert. None of the other app options seem to apply to this. Is there some other setting to turn off this alert?I know my phone can do WiFi calling, but can it do it silently, and not alert me multiple times a day it's able to do this?
I talked with LG Support chat and they are aware of the issue and are hoping to push a fix out in the next 24 hours.I asked them specifically if they will do this fix for older phones like the LG v20, and they said “yes”. The “fix” will be pushed to your phone and found in the same spot as your regular LG Phone updates were located.
I have a Google Pixel 3a that I bought from T-Mobile as soon as it came out. Recently I have experienced audio drops where the caller on the other line can't hear me and it now happens to 100% of the calls that last more than 10 minutes. These are not full call drops, Just a malfunction in the audio somehow. I looked into Google forums and found out that many other users on T-Mobile who have the Pixel 3A are experiencing the same problem. Has anyone else here in the T-Mobile community experience this? I tried calling customer support but now they have covid 19 hours and are closed. Any thoughts or help from the community would be appreciated or even anyone in T-Mobile for that matter.
I have a Samsung Galaxy s6. When I am only texting sms it works fine. When I send and receive a message with images in it, and then reply to that message, I am sent my own text message in a new group text that consists of me and the recipient. Is this a phone issue or a carrier issue?
