how to leave a good customer service review?

I am hoping to leave a review about some excellent service I received. I thought a survey would begin after the call, but it never came. Is there a way for me to leave a positive review for an employee if they provided me with their name@T-Mobile?

VPN issues

All devices and home network are good. Signal strength is 2 bars (weak, but functional).  Spouse needs to set up VPN to work from home, but even IT from the office could not get VPN to work via T-Mobile Home Internet.  VPN worked just fine on the same computer using cable network.

Anyone fed-up with horrible coverage from TMobile

This is a Description of our Complaint with T-Mobile and the BBB:For the past almost 3 years we have had all of our family cell phone lines with T-Mobile. We switched over from Verizon about 3 years ago because we responded to a promotion offered by T-Mobile whereby offered much better coverage at much better prices. Turns out that their marketing in advertising campaign was misleading and inaccurate at best. From day one, the coverage and reception was below any basic level of acceptance causing phone calls in messages to drop or fail at a rate off three failed for one success. After a few months, I complained with T-Mobile, they profusely apologized and told us to be patient because they were in the process of rolling out their new 5G Network and also merging their Network with sprints, and they said that the coverage and service issues will greatly improve in a matter of weeks or a couple of months at the most. WIFI Calling Preferences Being Forced to Cellular Preferred

I am experiencing my WIFI Calling Preferences always being forced to “cellular preferred”, as are others.   I live in an area with poor T-mobile mobile data signal and this recent behavior makes my phone unable to make and receive calls and text messages.   I believe the problem only started happening after the next to last T-Mobile software update.  Everything was fine for my first 5 months of ownership.  A Google search shows posts of other users experiencing the same issue, but no options other than a tedious workaround of manually switching the phone to Airplane mode and changing the WIFI calling preferences back to “WIFI preferred”.  I have to do this kind of process each time I enter and leave my home, and sometimes have to reboot my phone as well.   The times I’ve forgotten, I’ve missed package deliveries and went to a doctor appointment when the doctor had left a message that he was out sick.  This appears to be a carrier specific issue as far as I can see.   I even tried repla

Good signal/bars but no network connection many times daily

Ok here's what is going on... I have pretty good signal almost full 5g bars most of the time down to where it drops to 4g lte at full bars. From time to time every couple hours I lose connection to the network where I can't text no apps work etc but usually I can still make calls just fine while this is happening. It only lasts 1-2 minutes sometimes or it may be out 15-20 then all of the sudden it's back to normal like nothing ever happened. It may go right back out again in 2 minutes or it may not happen for hours. Also it only happens on my new galaxy a32 not on our old galaxy j7 or prime whatever it was or on the older LG phone both of which are still being used on this account and same house at same time but they have no issues with connection ever. They aren't 5g either so I figure 5g has something to do with it. It just really gets old when you can't finish a conversation or get directions because internet/network connection just stopped. What can I do? All my connection settings

Texting issues when connected to WiFi

I've been having an issue for about a week now where as soon as my phone connects to Wifi, I begin having issues sending and receiving text messages. I've been having the same issue as well as my Girlfriend, her Mom, and her Daughter all having the exact same issues when on WiFi. This includes 4 different phones, 3 different Samsung models and an iPhone. All T-Mobile devices. This issue seems to only be with text messaging. No issues with calls or any type of Data or internet related App. Just sending and receiving text messages.I called support last week because I was certain this was a known issue for many people, but was told it was not. I went through all the trouble shooting steps with the team and nothing they could do seemed to fix the issue. I cleared my cache, checked my data to ensure it was all setup correctly, I'm even now using a brand new Note 9 and still having the same issues. When I called originally I was using my s7 Edge.I've taken a few photos where you can see the

After latest update, GS9 keeps defaulting to Cellular Preferred over Wi-Fi calling

I have very poor (but existent) cellular coverage in my home.  I had no problems with setting Wi-Fi preferred for all of my calls/texting prior to the latest (large) update.  Now, I can select Wi-Fi preferred under Wi-Fi calling, however it never seems to save that setting.  As I am typing this, I have two outgoing messages that aren't sending (spinning circle) because the phone can't decide whether it wants to use Cellular or Wi-Fi.  I want it to use Wi-Fi because I know my Cellular coverage is horrible at my location.  I called into customer service today (somehow without a dropped call) and they made some adjustments on their end, however it fixed nothing.  Even after selecting Wi-Fi preferred, I will go back to check a few minutes later and the phone has already switched itself back to Cellular preferred.  This is very frustrating.  What can I do to ensure that Wi-Fi preferred will be the default setting?Thank you

t mobile now

Ever since the merger with sprint, t mobile has been absolute trash. Even after the new sim card its bad. Who ever thought it was a good idea to merge with sprint needs to get fired. Worst thing that has happened. And my job is dependant on having mobile data and if t mobile cant have their stuff together then im gonna have to switch.

Anyone else having problem activating galaxy watch 4 as standalone?

So I just got two LTE galaxy watch 4's to use when I don't want to carry my phone with me (while exercising). After spending two hours at a T-Mobile store and another hour on the phone with a technician, they escalate and another tech comes on and advises me that the galaxy watch 4 cannot be used as a standalone on t mobile. It can only be used when connected and near the phone its paired with! WHY would T-Mobile sell an LTE watch that can only be used when connected to the phone? That is called a Bluetooth watch! Very frustrated with them wasting 3 hours of my time, when this could have been mentioned when the watches were ordered. And even then, why sell LTE watches instead of Bluetooth watches? Has anyone one had this issue?

Can't receive data when on 5G UC

New Pixel 6 Pro.  Worked fine for first few days.  Now when the phone shows connected to 5G UC, I can not receive any data or connect to internet.  There's an exclamation point in the notification area.  If the phone shows just 5G or LTE them I can receive data.  Tried resetting all networks and still won't work on 5G UC band.

Disable MMS/Texting over WiFi

So I have the dreaded sporadic issues sending an receiving text message while connected to WiFi. Since there seems to be no solution, T-Mobile sent me a 4G hotspot for my house. While in theory that’s fine, I have better cell service in the house, I still want to use WiFi for my data. I have high speed internet for a reason. OK. To the point. I don’t want to turn WiFi off. That seems pointless. What I want to do is to Only Use Cellular Network for Texting, but I can’t find any way to do so. I turned off WiFi calling, but that was never an issue. It actually worked fine. What I want may not be possible. Just curious if there is perhaps a Setting I’m not aware of. I have a Samsung Galaxy 21 Ultra. Latest version of Android. I use the stock Samsung texting app (which could be the issue). TIA

People Outside of T-Mobile Not Receiving My Texts

Hi everyone! As of late Wednesday, it appears that people who do not have T-Mobile aren’t receiving my text messages. To me, they look like they’re sent, however, both Verizon and AT&T customers aren’t receiving anything on their end. I spoke to T-Mobile via Facebook and I’ve done the following:Cleared cache on phone Cleared cache and data on messages app Made sure all apps (Google Play and Galaxy Store) were up-to-date Made sure phone was up-to-date Reset network settings Reset all settings Deleted all messages in my phone (and emptied the trash) Turned on and off airplane mode Turned on and off most connections/network type settings Restarted my phone way too many times They told me I can come in-person today and get a new SIM card. I’m hoping that fixes it, however, I’m wondering if anyone else has had the same problem or has ideas? T-Mobile says my account looks fine and everything on their end looks fine. My phone is a Galaxy S21 and is only 1.5 years old, and I’ve been with T

Considering multiple users are experiencing exactly the same issue with data roaming in Canada currently, can we please hear from T-mobile exactly what they are doing about this?

You are not allowed to make calls at this time

Whenever I attempt to make a phone call to contacts or any random number I get a instant notification from T-Mobile saying thatYou are not able to make calls at this time.  always allowed numbers can be reached .What fresh heck is this?Oddly enough I can call T-Mobile and the other line on my account works fine and I can text with no problem both on Wi-Fi and LTE so it seems Wi-Fi calling does nothing to help or hinder. Network settings have not changed.

Hello, I realize its early but is T-mobile going to offer MLB.TV for free for the 2023 season like they have done in previous years?I thought I had read somewhere that the agreement between T-mobile and MLB had ended but maybe that was for MLB network and not MLB.tv?

PlayStation Remote Play ios app

Sony just updated their Remote play app which enables a user the ability to log into your console over a mobile network. When I try to connect via LTE on my XS Max, I get an error. When I check my NAT type through the app on the mobile network, it returns an error failed. I think this is the problem and would really like to get this resolved. The error code is 8801e209.

why does T-Mobile suck

T-Mobile lied about the rebates to switch over.  So I got screwed paying hundreds of dollars to Verizon.  The lied about service at my employer.  Map shws 5g and there is no service.  They then said the tower was down from an ice storm.  They then said it would be fixed in 24 hours they have been dispatched to the tower. Then I was told there is no tower in the area.  It is served from a tower 15 miles away. Now service at my home three lines and the home internet keeps showing LTE to 5G to 5GUC to no signal.  This is in a 5 minute time frame.  I'm told there is no issues and to reset the network function on my phone.  This will fix all the lines somehow.  I want my money and I want your customer service to stop lying to me.  Fix you crap and  give me my money

Phone call sounds garbled and robotic

Every so often, maybe about once or twice a week, I will encounter this problem where I will make or receive a phone call and the call will sound garbled in general, but voices will sound robotic and unclear. Even the dial tone is garbled. This has happened while calling other mobile phones as well as calling a landline. Every time it has happened, I have been in an area with good coverage, normally full coverage or near-full coverage. If I am streaming music prior to the call, it will be choppy and have streaming issues when I end the call. The only method I have found to resolve it is to restart my phone, which is not an ideal experience. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I never experienced this when I was previously on the AT&T network and I'm concluding it is probably a network issue rather than a device issue, however I haven't ruled out either as a possibility. My device is a Moto G4 Play, which hasn't had any problems since I got it.

OnePlus 8-5G Wifi Calling has no sound

My new OnePlus 8-5G phone (TMobile in US) cannot consistently send/receive wifi calls. Once answered, there is no sound on the OnePlus 8-5G phone while the other end can hear OK. I’ve tried updating the phone’s software (it is up to date) and I have updated the firmware on my router (which works with wifi calling with other phones: iPhone 11, iphone8, Droid Turbo 2, Motorlla Razr MAXX). I also tried disabling any battery saving features on the device and even did a factory rest of it (with no apps installed). I have also tried rebooting the phone once I have connected to the wifi router. Phone has same issues on any wifi router I have connected to. browsing is fine, only wifi calling is a problem.

Sudden terrible (and strange) data speeds at home, TMo Tells me the towers are "fine"

I’ll try to be brief, but have a bit of data to share. First, let me state that T-Mobile supports reps are super nice, BUT cannot think outside of the narrow box they are trained in and really can’t help much. I have contacted and been on the phone with them 2 times now for hours trying to figure this problem out. Said they were going to toss it to network engineers and get back to me. Well, problem still exists, no call back, still getting really really awful speeds for no reason that I can think of other than tower or transport issues. Also, while I am not professing to be an expert in this arena, I am actually a network and infrastructure engineer at a massive/global manufacturing company by trade and have been for 2 decades now so I am very familiar with this space. The important bits:T-Mobile Magenta Max (Veteran) Family Plan (so effectively unlimited data and something like 40GB or 60GB tethering, which we never use). 6 Lines (2 lines are in TX and have NO issues at all, the othe

Why is there mysteriously no longer signal in my house after T-Moblile/Sprint Merger?

My husband and I have been Sprint customers for years.  We had fairly decent cellular service in our home, maybe losing service twice in 4 years due to major storms messing with the towers.  However, for some unknown reason that makes no sense to me (I’d assume service would improve), we now often entirely lose cell service completely at our home and within a 1 mile radius ever since we were instructed to change our SIM cards upon the T-Mobile/Sprint merger.  Not only is this frustrating, but my business and sanity are suffering.  I did not choose to work with T-Mobile.  We had a contract with Sprint.  Sometimes service is fine, but then for sometimes several weeks at a time, service is completely gone.  We have tried recalibrating our phones, etc.  My husband uses a Samsung Note and I have an iPhone 12 as well as a business cell that is also iPhone.  All 3 phones stop working for calls and texts for weeks at a time.  It is so unreliable and I am ready to find another option at this po

Anyone else having problems since switching to T-Mobile?

I was a Sprint customer and switched to T-Mobile since the merger.  I have been having problems ever since I switched.  With Sprint, I had great reception.  Now, with T-mobile, calls drop all the time, texts don’t always send right away, and data is very slow, if it even connects.  I don’t even get call in my house.  This is ridiculous.  Why aren’t they using the same Sprint towers?  I have to leave my house to get text messages. Help!!!!!

T-Mobile, PLEASE BRING BACK ACTIVATIONS FOR NON-VOLTE DEVICES!!!!!!! There are many people in this country that want to use their older 2G- as well 3G capable phones along-side their LTE or 5G capable devices, and that is including me! I want to state that it is very bothersome when I want to use my 3 T-Mobile branded Nokia 3390s, or even my 5190, that they keep disconnecting with modern SIM cards I activate! It is very greedy of T-Mobile to do this to block new customers from using not just 2G devices, but also older LTE device such as:Galaxy S3Galaxy Note 2iPhone 5iPhone 5ciPhone 5sGalaxy S4Galaxy Note 3and many more early Non-VoiceHD LTE devices that are kind of rendered useless because of this forced VoLTE that new SIM cards are programmed on. In many European countries like Germany where Deutsche Telekom is keeping 2G service active in it’s full glory and explaining that 2G service will stay, and they even reassured people that 2G is staying for probably like ever, why don’t we ha

No voice service: Temporarily turned off by your carrier

I've been receiving this notification multiple times over the last two days. I looked online to see how to fix it. I've tried restarting my phone, checking the SIM to make sure it's in place, and turning on/off Airplane Mode. It's still showing up on my phone, and I noticed that my mobile data doesn't work when it does (no phone calls or internet when I'm not around wifi).  For reference, I have a Motorola One 5G Ace. Can anyone help with this?

The Signal Booster DUO (Band 12) is made of UNOBTANIUM

I contacted T-Force who did some research and discovered that the Booster Duo that covers Band 12 and announced in a massive press release has been 'out-of-stock" since late December with no restocking date.  Looks like this unit is made of UNOBTANIUM.  I don't understand how T-Mobile can still post a web page with the details of this unit if they have no intention of making them available.  I REPEAT, PER THE PERSON I SPOKE TO AT T-FORCE, THERE HAS BEEN NO UNIT THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY IN STOCK SINCE DECEMBER.  Anyone have an idea of a way to contact the right person at T-Mobile who would honestly explain T-Mobile's future strategy on whether they will actually make these units available.  Going through the normal customer service channels just winds up with an out-of-stock answer - no explanation of why a newly announced offering last November stocked very few units in December and hasn't restocked any in the past FOUR months.
