USB Preferences

I been charging my Google phone like I using do for the last two years and everything was fine.  One day it stopped charging for some odd reason and it took me a day or so to figure out that a feature called “USB Preferences” which is something very new but I never wanted it or I downloaded it.  So now when ever I try to charge my phone up sometimes it will charge at its usual pace or sometimes it will charge very slow which it never done that before.  There are times it won’t charge and I have to find this option on my phone to make it charge at all (the picture I shared will show what I mean now).  Is there a way I can try to resolve this issue?  I don’t like it when I have to activate the charging process using USB Preferences which makes no sense now.  I am even considering in the future when I get a new smart phone I can use a charger pad instead of using a cable.  Any advice of how to resolve this now I really appreciate it.

Where is the April security patch for unlocked Galaxy S22 Ultra?

Owners of T-Mobile locked S22 Ultras are saying that they’ve received the April security patch 5 days ago.  I have yet to see it available for my unlocked version.  T-Mobile seems to make our unlocked phones a lower priority for security patches.  This happened last year with my unlocked Note 20 Ultra where T-Mobile provided no security patches at all from June until September (3 months)!  One would think that they would try to take care of owners of unlocked phones as well since we can easily take our business to another carrier if we aren’t happy with T-Mobile’s seeming lack of concern about our security.

No matter what size SD card I put in the phone after awhile it says it is corrupted.  Now the camera won’t work.  This is only after 5 months!

safe mode

I am thinking of buying a cellular modem for use in an RV.Can I use the SIM from a spare phone or iPad?Can I at least use the amount of hotspot data?If not, what are my SIM options presuming I stick with TM.

was told one thing while website says another

okay I’ve had no issues with the T-Mobile service, they have been great about fixing the issues, but this time is different.So, I see on the website i can get $400 in credit when i trade in a Samsung Z Flip 3 but when i went into the store i was told the most i would get is $300 and i want to know why is that, is there some different deal that goes on with the website compared to the store?

I have the OnePlus 9 T-Mobile variant upgraded to Android 12. I've noticed a few bugs after the update.1. The new messaging app displays text in the wrong order and shows incorrect dates text are received and/or sent.2. Incorrect processor 888 snapdragon is correct. But is showing 855 snapdragon.3. Low volume/muffled calls. I've checked with a few other phones, no issues. Seems to to only be affected by the OnePlus 9 T-Mobile variant.

Notifications on Z Flip

I just set up an account with T Mobile and I got a new Samsung Flip Z. I have a notification from T Mobile, that shows on the top of the phone, regarding some downloads. I cannot delete it! It’s been showing for hours now and it’s really annoying. I can delete all other notifications except this one from T Mobile. How do i delete?  Thanks.

Needing a new phone, but not looking to spend an arm and a leg. I have found some phones that I like that are through providers that use the TMobile network. Can I use these phones with my TMobile SIM card, or do I have to specifically look for unlocked phones?

Disaster with my online phone order

I ordered a phone online (with rep assistance) almost 2 weeks ago and received confirmation.  When I never got an email with a tracking number, I checked online and my status says “delayed”.  I called and got bounced around to 3 different people with a variety of comments but no real answer.  I was told  by one rep I’d receive an email within 24 hours.  Nothing. I called back 2 more times and spoke to people in the order support dept.  I still get no definite answer what the issue is and to wait and call back in a few days.  Has anyone else had issues like this? Any suggestions?  I’m about ready to cancel my order and also my home internet.  I’m so disappointed and frustrated with their customer service. It seems like they bend over backwards to make a sale and then don’t care about anything else.

I have entered all the required information and clicked the Next button. Now the pink spinning wheel is mocking me, refusing to move me along. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and restarted the phone. Nothing is allowing me to move forward. Help!

Hi, I was checking my settings in my text messaging app (Samsung android) and under messages settings- more settings- text messages, there is a phone number under message center that is not my number.  It is in area code 206.  Is this a t-mobile function or is someone doing something nefarious?

4g LTE Cellspot

My cellspot is hissing (fan noise) and won’t connect to anything.  The power and the Internet are only flashing (green and yellow respectively).  All the other lights are off.  I have hit the reset button (maybe a little over an hour ago) but no go.  Its been like this all weekend.I need the cellspot as I only get 1 bar in the house.  Had this device since 2018 and its been flawless until now.Suggestions?

Worst update ever

I've always been a huge fan of OnePlus. The battery life has always been great and the OS being very simple to use as well. A few days ago I woke up and I received the new Android 12 update to my OnePlus 9. Everything looked completely different. My favorites in my contacts were rearranged. I almost didn't recognize my own phone. Being a business owner and running my business from my phone this has been a huge adjustment and inconvenience. On top of that the battery life has been sucked from this device. I don't know if the update has turned on applications that run constantly in the background but it is killing my battery. There needs to be a new solution to this update! Extremely frustrated and unable to stand by the brand OnePlus any longer.

I had T-mobile support working with me as well to resolve this and it was also escalated to a higher team.Onto the actual issue. Setting up this A10e with my apps went fine until my us bank app. I never received the verification codes when I first logged in to the app despite multiple resends. tried many, many things that it could be but never fixed. two days go by with no luck. finally late last night I found that an area in the android permissions called “Special access” contained the elusive fix:From Home screen, navigate: Settings > Apps tap the options ellipsis in upper right corner Tap Special access Tap Use Premium text message services Tap the app icon of the messaging app your phone is using by default: Choose Ask or Always all
