T-Mobile AAA Year on Us Promotion Code: Not Working for Me

Anyone know the secret to get the T-mobile AAA Year on Us” promotion (one year AAA membership free) to work?   I have Magenta 55+, so appear to be eligible for the offer.  I used the link provided https://promotions.t-mobile.com/thanks but clicking on it simply generated for me an error message “code invalid” (see below).  A call to the T-mobile number provided took me to their call center (Philippines) but the nice person there had no clue how to fix the problem, beyond texting me a link that when clicked generated the same error message. Frustrating!

eSIM not installed when using T-Mobile eSim app

I have just enrolled for a prepaid account using T-Mobile eSim app. All the process seemed to work fine (I got a phone number and had my CC charged) but in the end there was some kind of problem installing the new eSim on my iPhone. Now it seems I am locked out of service, since the app requires a different e-mail and the creation of a new account to run again. How can I get the eSim for my existant and already paid for prepaid phone number now?

How to keep existing prepaid account and plan when upgrading to a new phone

Hello. I currently have a prepaid plan. My phone is old and I want to upgrade. My friend wants to give me his old phone (which is much newer than mine) to use. It is compatible with t-mobile’s network as far as I can tell--Friend had a t-mobile plan but it was post-paid. How do I keep my existing prepaid plan, service, and phone number and move to using the new (friend’s) phone?

Is there a PrePaid Plan on T-Mobile?

• I used to have a Pre-Pay plan and I could switch to another plan as needed. Evidently, that is no longer available. • Plans are confusing! Customer Service people use BS and double-speak. I can’t get a straight answer about getting a Pre-Pay or Pay-Go plan.  US Mobile Plans are a RIPOFF!  The US has some of the highest mobile costs in the world. In most countries, the cost of a cell is one-third (⅓) or less for the month. For example: 500MB in the UK costs about $ 8.80. The least expensive monthly charge is Austria @ $ 5.00.Furthermore, T-Mobile constantly changes the charges, adds on charges, etc. My Magenta plan used to be $ 50.00. Recently, T-Mobile started charging $ 70.00 without authorization or explanation. I use very little data and hardly ever make cell phone calls. $ 840.- per year is a LOT of money for virtually nothing!  • There are always additional charges in the fine print.  Simply OUTRAGEOUS!

2G free phone replacement

Hi, my family uses two 2G phones on the Gold Rewards legacy pay as you go plan.  I saw the various posts that T-Mobile is shutting down its 2G network in April and also the announcement on the T-Mobile site here (https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/2g-retirement).  Are we eligible for the free phone replacement even though we are using a legacy prepaid plan?  We have been to several T-Mobile stores, but have been told that they cannot help us.  We’ve also tried customer service, but they have also been unable to help us.  Thank you for any information you can provide.

Transfer / migrate from the physical sim to eSIM

Hello! I have the physical t-mobile SIM and I want to transfer phone number to my eSIM account / to convert it into eSIM. At the moment I have two tmobile accounts and numbers, is it possible to merge em? (both accounts are prepaid)I talked to the tech support - and every time I called I had a different information:1st time i was told that in 24hrs everything would be done smoothly (nothing happened so I called again)2d time I was told that T-Mobile doesn't support a feature to transfer the physical sim into the eSIM (when both numbers are tmobile numbers)before the first call I tried to reach a text support online - they also didn't resolve any questions and just said that tmobile doesnt fully support eSIM.What is the truth here? Is it really not possible? Also an extra eSIM question - if I want to use the same eSIM on a different phone, how to achieve it? Or it is impossible now to perform any kind of eSIM transfers?Thanks for understanding.

Customer Loyalty Plan

I have been with T-Mobile since the first program called Digiph! That is around 25 years. I am a creature of comfort and I really liked the fact that I could get an upgrade every year at no cost due to my customer loyalty. That is no longer a thing unless you upgrade your plan and I would be paying $50 more a month for a plan I don’t need. I have been looking into other networks and it seems that I can move to another company and get the upgraded I-phone 15 for free. I am thinking since T-Mobile does not recognize my 25 years of on-time payments in any way shape or form, perhaps I should change companies. Any thoughts?

Anyone else experienced a PAID line being added to their account without your authorization, and then had issues with T-Mobile when trying to remove the added line and get a refund?

Upgraded and bought a new iPhone in a T-Mobile store on 04/22/2022 - I am unfortanely just now noticing after reviewing my yearly reports for tax season approaching, that there was a data line added to my services/bill on the same day, for an apple watch?!  The charge was insignificant in cost enough for me to never notice too much of a difference, and the sales representative in the store explained to me the new bill amount and an increase being due to the monthly amount I would be charged for the iPhone payment plan option to pay month for a phone instead of paying in full.  I am now trying to have the line removed but the customer service dept. has only tried to tell me I am wrong and that I activated this on my own MONTHS prior to 4/22/22, which is so far from true.  I have only ever used my apple watch on wifi/connected to my phone via bluetooth.  After reviewing my usuage overview for 2022, each month shows the additional line and every month has 0.00GB of data used.  I found thi

24 or 30 Months?

In September of 2021 I paid off (2) iPhone 12s and traded them in for (2) iPhone 13s on the 55+ Magenta Max plans.  They put me on the 30 month equipment payoff plan.  Should I have been put on the 24 month equipment payoff plan?  Now coming up to the iPhone 15 in September 2023, I want to upgrade to the 15.  Do I have to pay off the remaining 6 months before I trade them in?  Who gets 24 month pay off and who gets 30 months?  My FICA score is over 800 and I am on the Forever Upgrade program.

Prepaid Plan: Whitelisted vs Data

Hello. I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered--I just couldn’t find a satisfactory answer through a quick search or when calling T-Mobile customer service.I just signed up for a $10 Connect prepaid plan with 1GB of data. On the usage details (under data), I see both categories called “whitelisted” and “data” under category for the service of internet access (a copy of the usage detail is attached).Can anyone give me an easy to understand explanation of why there is two categories of “whitelisted” and “data,” both of which really reduces the overall data anyway?One site (https://techshift.net/what-is-t-mobile-whitelist-and-regular-usage/) seems to indicate that “whitelisted” “doesn’t count towards a plan’s data bucket.” I’m not sure what that really means or if it is even accurate since there aren’t many similar explanations that I could find.Any assistance would be appreciated.

Will a prepaid walmart tmobile phone work by just putting in my existing tmo sim card in it?

My android moto phone is getting old and isn’t updating so I found a prepaid tmo samsung A13 at Walmart.  Is this new phone “locked” into having to start a new prepaid plan or can I just simply put my existing postpaid sim card into it and turn it on and i’ll have my same service?  Thanks!

Sprint Lease to T-Mobile Agreement

So I finished paying on my device from Sprint back in June 2023 and I didn't realize I was still being charged the added $50 lease agreement fee until this month December 2023. When I contacted T-Mobile they did take off that last agreement charge going forward but advised they could not credit me for the $300 I'm owed. One rep said they world put in a refund request for me then another rep advised it was denied because the lease was worth Sprint. I have looked through every possible document and nothing states if a lease is worth sprint after that lease ends I will continue to pay tmobile for a device that is paid off. If anyone else has such a document if you could let me know where it is so I can attach it to my Better Business Bureau complaint that I filed to resolve this issue.  I attached my correspondence plus what it states about paying off the lease.

Pay as you go in us

Is there a pay as you go plan of t mobile while I am in the us. I dont use the t mob internet nor its calling or texting much, mostly rely on wifi. Is there a plan, so that my number remains active and I can continue to receive text and calls, but dont have to pay for a full prepaid plan?

Reactivate my canceled line

I live outside the US and travel there several times, but due to the pandemic, it has been a long time since I last visited."I forgot to refill my prepaid line today. Earlier, I received an email informing me that my line has been canceled. To reactivate it, I was instructed to visit the t-mobile.com website or call the 1-800 number. However, I couldn't find a solution on the website, and when I called, I was kept waiting on hold without any assistance. Should I persist and try again, or should I give up and buy another SIM card during my next visit?

Hello we are going on a trip to the united states next month we want to order an unlimited prepay esim on your site but is it possible to activate it 1 day before departure from france.How does the activation of the esim work from a foreign country.Because it is more advantageous to take directly on your site than to take operator specialized in tourism which uses your networks but which charges much more for less service

Porting Number Nightmare

I’ve been trying to port in a number into my tmobile prepaid account for over a month.  Apparently there there is a glitch in T-Mobile’s system where my current number is stuck so it never even tries to initiate the port-in  process.  I’ve  talked to support on the phone multiple times, I’ve been told it’s been escalated to engineering, and then that engineering is still working on it.  Now I haven’t heard anything in over a week. Is there anyway to escalate this to someone who can actually fix the issue.  This is getting beyond ridiculous.

Primary number cancelled by T-Mobile

Primary phone number (prepaid) got cancelled by T-Mobile. No reason given. It still has fund, as far as I know, but since it is removed, there is no way I can check.Definitely not authorized by me, but unable to call T-Mobile since not in US at the moment.Can someone from T-Mobile help me out here ? At least let me know why it got cancelled.Thanks.

Esim with existing t-mobile number?

Currently have a simply prepaid plan with T-mobile that I am very happy with.  It uses an old fashioned SIM card.  Looking to buy a new apple phone and use the eSim technology.  It looks like my plan is offered on eSim.  Question is - can I keep my existing number?  I know you can port an existing number but this is essentially porting from T-mobile to t-mobile.  Want to be sure before I drop $700.  Has anyone done this and if so how?
