Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this long post and to give me some help and advice. So I preordered a Google Pixel 6 Pro from T-Mobile's website, but I seem to be having a lot of issues with my order. What should I do? Because I have a feeling that I'm not going to receive my phone. That somewhere down the line you were just going to get canceled or they're going to claim that I never made an order. 1st off when I tried to make the purchase on T-Mobile's website as soon as preorders became available, there was some type of technical issue that was confirmed by customer care who confirmed that with the IT department. Then about 3-4 hours later the website was working again and I was able to purchase the device. So after I completed the transaction I never received any confirmation email and any of my DocuSign emails that I should've received after placing the order. Which I was able to confirm on T-Mobile's website and through the app that I had an order processing. The ord
It appears OnePlus has had update version 9.5.10 out for several weeks now and T-Mobile has yet to send update out to their customers. The last two updates from T-Mobile have been only security updates for Android. OnePlus has released software updates to improve the camera and screen gestures and touches, but TMobile hasn't. If my phone was unlocked I could download the updates online. TMobile has to step up and refrain from not updating new phones.
Okay, this is April 7. My phone says that I'm on the Feb. 1 Android security update. These security updates are important to users, when can we expect the next "monthly" Android security update now that we're 2 months behind?Should I have gotten the Google Pixel 2 phone instead of this one? I'm starting to feel that way. According to the research that I did before buying this phone, I was under the impression that Samsung had said that they would deliver an Android security update every month. So is it Samsung or T-Mobile that's the hold-up here? What can I expect? Quarterly is just not good enough, if it even turns out to be quarterly. Is there a manual method for this, like an image that I can sideload to get the latest security updates? If I unlock my T-Mobile S9 the first opportunity that I get, will that help me be able to install an image that I can get on the internet? Or am I just hosed when it comes to all those Android security exploits that I see are getting fixed every month?
Just a heads up for those looking at the newest 5G Phone. I know early adopters have growing pains. But also, this type of problem is kind of pathetic. dropsLocation: Las Vegas, NV and surrounding areaISSUE: - 5G non-functional out-of-box - No Data, only calls/texts- Phone drops 5G Signal Symbol in Notification Bar- Resetting Connections (Cellular, Bluetooth, WiFi) fixes issue (?)- Resetting connections simply changes Cellular Bands to LTE and below (3G, 2G) - not 5G- Once you select 5G from the Menu, the Data drops- Changing Cellular back to LTE and lower, restarting the phone brings Data backRepeatable and verified known issue. Ticket in with Support.Notes: Data works on WiFi even if 5G is enabled/selected. Still have problems with Text Messages not sending even on WiFi.
I am so mad at myself for jumping on the Android update. Normally I love the latest Android. But 7.0 Nougat on the S7 is too vanilla. Seems most if not all the TouchWiz has been removed. I don't mind change if the change is good and I can do the same or better. But a few things I noticed right away that are big issues with me. 1. No more left/right sliding top shortcut keys for the top 10. Only a static 5 and without text. Have to pull down the whole shade for all shortcuts with text. This also means that I can't see the Wifi SSID in the text like before.2. No more quick access to the auto brightness toggle checkbox. Just the brightness slider. You then have to go into the drop down menu to access the auto toggle on/off. I often toggle the auto setting in complete darkness or when in theme parks for more battery control. Not daily, but pretty often.3. Notifications are now bright white with black text and I can't seem to get it to follow my themes. I liked the darker notifications with
Hello,This was not a problem before the upgrade. Now I am needing to re-enable wifi calling daily it seems. I suspect it turns off when I leave wifi, and even though the preference is to use wifi for calling, it has to be manually re-enabled all the time. How can i get it to stay enabled? Thanks!
So, I wanted to turn on the Wifi calling on my Galaxy J7. It was there before the most recent update but now, it's nowhere to be found! Tried setting/connections etc. Tried also looking in the phone app settings but the option to turn on the Wifi calling is just missing. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not a prepaid customer and I had the option before the big upgrade to android 9 so I certainly can't explain this. Is there anywhere else they may have hidden this button? Thanks
I paid off a “free” phone, upgraded my account and don’t see the Pixel 6 Pro pre-order in my order status. Is this normal? If you have a Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro pre-ordered, how does that appear on your account? Did you complete the device agreement signature, etc at time of pre-order?Customer service has provided an order number and assured the pre-order is in. It feels rather vague and a bit alarming that there is zero way to track the order, no way to know expected ship date, etc.
Unlocked s21 Ultra showing as "Unknown Device" and not supporting 5G or Extended Range LTE on My Mobile account
I just bought an unlocked S21 Ultra directly from Samsung. It works great, including the tmobile voicemail app and RCS through the Google messages app. It says I’m connected to 5G on the phone, and I get 150+mbps download from home on speedtest.netThe problem is that the tmobile account website shows this:The problems with this is:Most important: I have free phone repair insurance through my Uber Visa Signature credit card. In the past, when I filed a claim, they required a screenshot of the account to show that I have the device I’m filing a claim for on the tmobile account that I pay monthly through my credit card. I would have issues proving that I have an S21 Ultra on my tmobile account if it says “unknown device:” I’m worried I’m not getting the best speeds or roaming experience if I were to take a road trip in a rural setting. 150mbps+ from home is good enough in the major city that I live in, and I’m sure it’ll be better if I get closer to the tmobile cell phone tower which
A few weeks ago I started to get complaints that my text messages were either going through multiple times or a simple two sentence text is being broken up into two or three texts and being sent out of order. It's becoming maddening for anyone who receives a text from me.
I have submitted this same issue with OnePlus.I am on my second OnePlus 7T Pro 5G purchased directly from T-Mobile and the phone is not able to hold a GPS signal while getting directions in ANY mapping app (eg. Google Maps, Waze, etc.)What happens is that you enter a destination in the mapping app and start the directions. A use case used a bazillion times by a bazillion users. On your route for no rhyme or reason at no specific interval, the mapping app will lose its connection to GPS and the arrow where you are on the map will freeze at your last known location. While you continue on your way, at some point the mapping app will reconnect to GPS and find you and you will "fast forward" to your current position on the map. This happens multiple times during your travels at varying intervals.I have captured this with a screen recording using an app called GPS Test simultaneously with Google Maps. The link is below. The time stamps of note are:Three examples in one video. 1st one sta
Does anybody know if you'll be carrying the Google Pixel 6 and Pro? The reason I ask is because there's a launch event on the 19th of October and then supposedly preorders is going to start on the 19th of October as well. I know that T-Mobile entered into a new Google partnership again which almost 99.9% guarantees that T-Mobile is going to get the new phones in the future. Also I just recently came across a blog post on T-Mobile's official website about how they're going to support future Pixel phones other Google devices as well as make Google Messages the default messaging app. So I can only assume that it's going to come to T-Mobile, but I don't want to jump the gun and make that assumption and get let down if it's not coming to T-Mobile. So I would just like to know in advance if the Pixel 6 is going to come to T-Mobile, so I can get prepared to preorder it on the 19th. Also I'm very well aware that I can get an unlocked version from Google directly and then use it with T-Mobile's
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S7 Active through AT&T and switched over to T-mobile. I unlocked my phone and everything worked for about a month. All of a sudden my phone stopped connecting to internet off Wi-Fi. My phone still made calls and sent and received texts, but the data wouldn't work. I made sure my data was turned on and tried restarting my phone, and even did a factory reset. Still didn't fix the issue. I called T-Mobile for help and they reset my APN info back to their default, but it still didn't work. They ended the call by basically sorry we can't help, sometimes phones from other carriers default back to the original carrier and there's nothing we can do to fix it. THIS IS COMPLETELY WRONG. Here is the solution.1. Go to Settings>Connections>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names2. Click on each name and in the top right corn click the 3 dot menu icon and click Delete APN. Delete ALL of them.3. Restart your phone.4. Repeat step 1 and go back to Access Point Names.5.
I have one contact that will not give the option to send a SCHEDULED TEXT. As a matter of fact this one contact also does not give the option to ADD SUBJECT. All other contacts give the option to schedule text and add subject. I have deleted the contact and rebooted the phone at leas 3 times but it still does not show the option to schedule text and add subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am having a huge delay in sending a picture via text message. At times it takes twenty minutes at others it takes ten minutes, and that is if it sends at all. Regular texts go through right away. The pictures i send are ones i take, or screenshots so they aren't very big. This very annoying, does anybody know what I can do to fix this? It's only in sending, I receive pictures from other people with no problem.
Why is it taking so long with 9.0 update for the LG G7? 10 Q system update is already being talk about and they saying it could even come out in March and I'm still on 8.0.lol not even 8.1 lol that is sad.. And I know y'all don't even know.. Which is sad. If y'all do know I apologize if y'all don't it's sad.. Is there a date Gor the 9.0 system update for lg g7
After the OTA update to Android 11 for my OnePlus 7 Pro when I get a phone call, it is always on speaker, even though the speaker is not turned on. Turning speaker on and back off has no effect. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Looked through all of the settings and can't find anything that might be turned on or off to fix this.
