I got this fix 5/24/22 it's similar to many others. They don't work this one does. It's from a LG engineer.Put the affected LG phone in airplane mode by pulling down the notification shade and tapping on the plane icon.Putting the phone in airplane mode should stop the IMS error message from popping up.Open the phone's settings and tap on Apps and Notifications, followed by App Info.On the App Info page, click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen and tap on Reset App Preferences, then tap on Show System.Look on the app list for "com.lge.ims.rcsprovider" and tap on to open the next page. Doing so will pull up the pre-installed IMS provider app's detailed overview.Once there, tap on the clear data/cache option, then clear storage, then force stop. Then restart the phone. If the pop up happens anytime during this. Restart phone and do again.
I was able to find a solution that works. Turn off your Wi-Fi and keep it off or the box “LG IMS has stopped” will pop back up. Simply repeat the steps below to remove it again. You can navigate the phone with the message “LG IMS has stopped” just click any space on your phone screen around the box.. It will reappear in about three seconds so you will go a bit slower until you complete the steps below. Steps to clear LG IMS has stopped boxGo to settings> storage//internal storage>other apps>hit three dots in upper right hand corner...>show system>scroll to find, com.lge.ims.rcsprovider (was not in order on my phone)>clear data/cache. The box will disappear.
Anyone have a Samsung phone who might know how to fix this error? "currently unable to send your message it will send when service becomes available" but I have service, I have strong wifi and full bars of 4g service. Its very frustrating. it pops up the moment I open the built in messenger app I don't even have to try sending anything
Is there a way to do a factory reset on these? I messed up during the set up phase of entering the phone number on the watch. Now below the QR code it is showing the incorrect number and not receiving the 8 digit code. I can for the life of me figure out how to do a full reset or even change the number i entered wrong.
I have spent almost 5 hours trying to get help with my Samsung A32. The phone cuts people off. I got the phone in November 2021 and this is May 2022. Because I didn’t get the warranty they won’t help me. Very poor customer service. I’ve been a customer since 2002….yes….20 years with 6 lines. Wow! I even said I was going to switch carriers and the guy transferred me to customer service to do that. Very sad that they don’t care.
Hello, I have bought Samsung s4 LTE T-Mobile(SK telecom) at South Korea and was using in India more than 2 years without any issue on one of the LTE(4G) network(Idea network - 4G service) and it worked. Now i started using JIO SIM which is 4G network for both data and voice . with this SIM , i can see that my SAMSUNG S4 is successfully register with JIO network. and able to see signal bars . however when i try to enable Mobile Data. it did not work .
Yesterday I discovered that photos on my phone going back to 2019 had been deleted. The pictures are now slowly being restored, but they are being restored using the date/time of their restoration in the photo details vs. the actual date/time of the photo.This happened at about the same time the LG ims bug seemed to be fixed.What is going on?When will all the photos be restored?Will the dates get corrected?
So I ordered the iPhone 13 from T-Mobile but it was financed and I did put insurance on it because I have already broken 2 phones. It says it was delivered yesterday but I don’t see it, I don’t know what to do since it’s is financed and I don’t want to have to buy a new ohone
Has anyone had an issue getting the T-mobile bill credits for the trade-in promotion offered by T-Mobile though Apple’s website? I got the Apple trade-in credit but received no code or instructions on how to claim the T-mobile bill credits. T-Mobile customer service agents do not seem to be aware of the promotion, and I have had no response to my mail. Even now the promotion continues to be offered on Apple's site:"(i) Apple instant trade-in credit and (ii) an additional $200 back in bill credits on your T-Mobile/Sprint rate plan."
So, I’m about to do the switch over to my brand new phone, but I’m not sure at what point I move my SIM card. Do I do it BEFORE I move all my stuff and settings over, or do I do it AFTER Smart Switch has done its thing?Thanks in advance.
T-Mobile, I’m fairly confident that this site is monitored. It is clear from previous posts that there is something going on with the network. A number of people have posted the same issue on this site and other sites regarding “LG IMS keeps stopping” that started today. It is a known issue that no one can deny. Also, it is very annoying to have to deal with it. Is this what you really wants to do, harass your customers. Please take ownership and address the issue. Say something, issue is being address; this is how you stop it, etc. or is it that you could care less that you lose some customers?
