netflix update

Adding 2 screens, 1080p streaming but with ads is a major downgrade from 1 screen, 720p without ads. Adding ads makes it a complete worthless benefit because I won’t use it. So t-mobile is just actively making their service worse.

Netflix downgrade

Hey Netflix, “You currently have Netflix ON US included in your plan. Netflix recently updated their subscription tiers, you’ll now receive Netflix Standard with ads, providing more features and benefits to you. This benefit will continue to be ON US ($0). There is nothing you need to do. This change will take effect between January 25 and February 1.” How is changing my subscription from “no ads” to “includes ads” “providing more features and benefits to you”?

I had been paying for Hulu but realized as a former Sprint customer, I have Hulu through T Mobile.  How do I get my Hulu account set up through T Mobile so I don’t keep paying for it?

T-Mobile provided Hulu - can users pay gor no ads?

On 1/24/24 T-Mobile will add the ADs Included tier to some of its packages.  Question:  can T-Mobile subscribers accept the free tier and then pay for the upgrade for no ads?

MLS SEASON PASS

Tmobile has removed the MLS season pass promotion for this year without replacing it with something of equal value. I switched to tmobile for the perks such as sport streaming. I will be cancelling my agreement as soon as possible.  They use promotions to lure people in, then slash them and assume people are too lazy to leave. See ya later, crooks.

Now we get the "benefit" of watching Netflix ads? great...

Got the notification that Netflix plans will change at the end of the month with many new great “features” like advertisements. No thanks. I'd rather give less money to T-Mobile and get no Netflix.

MLB TV - No access to games

I signed up for the free MLB.TV via T-Mobile. I’ve done it the past two - three years. I was able to watch one single game yesterday during opening day and since have been blocked from viewing in content. Etieher through my phone, computer, PS4 as well as an Amazon Fire stick. Each time I go to open a game, it says either “Video Error - try again later” or I get a message that says I don’t have access to the content. Anyone else having this same issue?

Netflix Standard without ads?

Changed plan to upgrade to the netflix standard without ads 8.50 extra a month. However Netflix is still stating that I am on this plan still with tmobile?Is this correct?  Bottom line, how do I get rid of ads, pretty sure I signed up properly, its just not reflecting on Netflix’s website

Apple TV - Not working

I am not able to use Apple TV On-Us even though it says I am active on my account.  I had customer service people helping me on two different occasions and they all said I should wait 24 hours for a special link to be sent and will call me to make sure all that crap but still not resolved.   Anybody else had similar problems or know how to get it easily resolved?

MLB TV doesnt work through 5g home internet

Trying to watch baseball games and they won't load when I'm connected to the tmobile 5g home internet. Works fine on my other wifi connection (I am testing the home internet device, so I still have both) and on my actual mobile network, but throws an error if I am connected to the 5g home internet network.  I have tried on my phone, laptop, and firetv stick...all act the same. Can anyone help?

1/25/2024 Hulu on us text message with link not working!

Just received my NEW “hulu on us” SMS and the link to claim the offer does not work. Anyone else experiencing this?Phone Arena says there are issues. Hopefully T-Mobile backend and they fix it soon!T-Mobile subscribers having issues claiming their free "Hulu On Us" perk - PhoneArena

Rec'd the 01/04/24 text announcement that Free Hulu was coming on Jan 25th and a second text 01/26/26 with the link to add it. The link didn't work. Called & they sent another link that didn't work! Was told I didn't qualify. When I sent them a copy of the terms, see below, which states needing to have 2 Go5G Plus OR 2 Magenta Max. We have 2 Magenta Max plans but they're M.M. 55 plans so according to cust service, I  don't qualify.Why do they send a text to add Hulu if it doesn't even apply? SOOO DISAPPOINTING! On top of that, when I followed the first link, it signed me up for a paid Hulu subscription and I had to call and cancel! T-Mobile, get your act together!

Music Freedom

I have the Magenta 55+ and understand from what I’m reading that Music Freedom is automatically activated.  Where the heck do I find it to be able to play music?  It looks like it’s various websites, but any I go to like Pandora or Spotify, it wants me to register and then charge me.

I plan on dumping Comcast because they are too expensive. Does anyone know when the Philo promotion will be back? The CSR told me it would restart on August 1, 2023 but when I click on the link he gave me I just get a spinning wheel.

Website won’t let me cancel Paramount +.  Is this even possible on the T Mobile website??  Followed suggestions I saw on line and all suggestions take you to manage add ons which comes up blank on the website.

Home internet

Does anne else have problems with there home internet saying that it has excellent signal but it has no signal or weak signal and it always buffering when I'm watching a movie on Paramount or it says that I have no internet connection but showing excellent signal .I switched from spectrum because of there bull shit ways with my bill and crappy CS but I didn't want to go from that to this. I've done everything that they suggested on moving in to a different spot but still not getting the same service I had if I knew this I would have gone to a different company all together but since I've been with TMobile for 18 years I thought that it was the right choice but now I'm not sure

Netflix on us issue

We have just started the "Netflix on us". We had originally paid for our service Netflix without any issues. NOW!?! Well, the service is less than stellar. Most of the time it won't even show the "menu". When it finally decides to work it buffers so long it will time out. So, try again (not an internet issue) now it will be pixelated. So, then call T-mobile about said issue. Was told there should be nothing wrong. No help there, we have been withT-mobile for years, and no customer service issues. Yet, issue still exists. So we then do hard start of our internet and device we are watching, trying to watch Netflix on, still have the issue. We know it's not our device. We know it's not our internet. As we have absolutely no issues streaming anything else. No issues with Netflix prior to the "Netflix on us". Only having issues with the "Netflix on us". Needless to say, I am asking here because T-mobile support has been less than stellar with their customer service.Soo, besides going back t

Netflix on us - shared? $8.50 vs $15.49

I signed up for the Standard (no ads) on a Go5G PlusWhen I go to benefits, and look at Netflix’s sight - it shows I should be charged $8.50On my accounts overview I see $15.49 under Netflix as a shared add-on I only want Netflix for my primary line, and I only want to pay $8.50 Anyone else have this issue?

Spotify doesn’t load using data, how do I fix this?

(I’m unsure if I selected the correct sub forum for this topic but here goes…) I’m not sure if this a problem on Spotify’s end and if I should be crying to them instead, but for some odd reason, when I try to load the Spotify app using my T-Mobile cellular data, nothing loads and I can only play songs that are cached. Sometimes it even says I’m offline when I have a few bars. Is this something that has to do with the music unlimited stuff on my plan? Any fix? Any help is appreciated, thank you.
