I purchased a SynchUp Kids watch for my child. It worked fine on the first day but seems to be having issues sending text messages after receiving an update on Jan 25. All other functions are fine (inbound texts, inbound/outbound calls, GPS, etc.). After contacting support, they confirmed that it is a known issue, and their technical team is working on it. They could not give an estimate on when it would be fixed. Anyone else having this issue and vague response from support? It has been about 3 days since I opened the case. I’m also a little disappointed that I will need to call back in for updates. I would think that the support team would at least reach out or be able to provide more information. I’ve only unfortunately been able to speak with level 1 support who does not have much information.
I bought a cell Spot 4G LTE booster off of eBay and the main window unit only shows a red power light when I plug it in. The coverage unit lights up and does it searching for a window unit but then the light stops and only shows one leg of a number. Any idea if it’s junk or am I doing something wrong?
I have 2 lines a primary and secondary line assigned to 2 seperate handsets, however I am unable to use my second line in the “DIGITS” app. I even have them associated with 2 different email addresses, but cannot access my secondary linein this app! Help
My Alcatel hotspot has suddenly stopped recognizing any of the USB cables that I plug in to try to charge the device, except for one cable. I used to be able to use any of the half-dozen USB cables that fit, but now none of them carry signal or power, and my charge will run out soon. How can I fix this? I tried the full hardware reset, I tried removing the battery, the last thing I haven't tried is removing the SIM card but I doubt that would make any difference.Suggestions welcome and appreciated!
I purchased a SyncUP DRIVE 2 primarily for the wifi access so I could check on my dog using a security cam, then I found out the wifi requires the ignition to be on, defeating the purpose. Is there a way to allow the wifi to temporarily activate when there is a disturbance notification so I might briefly check the camera rather than continually going outside to physically check on the status of my dog? Or perhaps I can request this type of feature be developed? It seems pointless to receive several disturbance notifications over the course of an hour with no ability to quickly determine if the dog triggered the alert, or if someone is trying to enter the vehicle through windows cracked open for ventilation.
I'm currently in UAE. My T-Mobile hotspot has worked great here during visits over the past few months. Then yesterday it stopped uploading/downloading data. It connects to the local network just fine, and I get the up/down arrows icon, but no data gets transferred, upload or download, and I have no internet access.I tried turning the device on/off, manually disconnecting/connecting to the network, resetting/restarting the device, and removing/reinserting the SIM card. My plan, the local network, the location, everything is exactly the same as before. Why is my hotspot not transferring data, and how can I fix it?(FB/Twitter are not options for me, I can't call 800 numbers from outside the US, and "live chat" or "messaging" don't appear on my screen when I go to the "contact us" page while logged into my T-Mobile account.)Appreciate any support the community managers or others can provide.
This morning I went out shopping and everything was working fine. When we got out of the store my truck gave a Power Steering Assist Fault and other faults related to steering. The steering wheel was extremely hard to move. I was able to fight my way home in it and called the dealership and while on the phone with them checked the fuses and normal things I could check to find the fault. For some reason I noticed the SyncDrive and decided to take it out, and test again. The error cleared up as soon as I started the truck and the steering was fine. To test it again I turned it off and plugged the SyncDrive back in, as soon as I started it the issue returned and I was unable to move the steering wheel again. I have been using SyncDrive in the truck for over a year now without issue.I have removed the SyncDrive from my truck and everything is functioning perfectly now. I will not be putting it back in, had this failure occurred while driving or while my wife was using the truck this could
I have an unlocked M1 Nighthawk that has been working great On “tmobile” till yesterday. Service went out and the orange light of doom came on. Contacted the indi provider that told me “They” meaning tmobile, was/is doing upgrades in my area and the indi provider could not service me. They promptly turned my service off saying I would get a refund. I figuered I would go straight to the source and just get tmobile prepaid direct. Enter my SIM number and get an error that “this sim is already in use”. No joke, thats why I hit the bring my own device page.....any way to use my SIM that was working fine on Thursday with direct prepaid and cut out the middleman? My kids have a week of school left and I do t want to wait for a new SIM in the mail.
I have been reading about similar instances where others have difficulty gaming with this device because its not meant for gaming. But im wondering is there a way to do port ranges in port forwarding for this device or not? I cant enter 12000-12999 as a port range because it says integers only, my friend told me to try ~ and : as well and have had no success. Is there any way to do port ranges?
I'm currently using TripLog on my android device to track my trips milage. It doesn't do the best job and I always have to adjust the milage to match my car's odometer. But, the app can use an OBD-II scan tool for milage tracking. One requirement is that the device have an ELM327 Interface to work. Does anyone know, one way or another if the SyncUP Drive works with TripLog or any other milage tracking app?
Knowing that charging only uses 2 pins, assume other pins are for data transferring. Some charge cords have 4 pins, others have 5 pins, and both styles charge ok.Windows does not see Tracker when plugged into computer USB port. How are the ‘other’ pins used? Difference between 4 pin & 5 pin?
I have had my SyncUp Pet Tracker for just over a month and it has never worked. I have called customer support numerous time and they always promise to call me back - has NEVER happened. The tracker does not let me know when my dog is out of his safe zone and even worse, today he full on got out of the yard and it would not allow me to track him. I had to do it the old fashioned way and drive around calling his name. What is the point to this device? I would really like it to work and I have done everything I can think of to get support - this is my last try. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get this thing to work or am I wasting the monthly line fee, plus the cost of the device?
New SyncUp tracker. Diagram indicates there is a temperature sensor that detects ambient temperature, but no information is included about how to use the feature. Was hoping to use it inside my travel trailer when we leave the dog in it (with a/c on, of course) to alert me if the temperature changes should there be a power failure if we are out and about. Anyone have any insight about how it works? TIA!
