SyncUp kids pairing with Phone App

I recently bought a SyncUP Kids and when we first turned on the watch it gave the option to pair with app but didn’t pair and now doesn’t have the option. Is there a trick to pair the watch?

Setting up 4G LTE Cellspot

Hi, I was just sent a 4g LTE cellspot from T-Mobile to help with the low cell signal that I have in my home. It seems pretty easy to set up, however, when I went to my modem (which I have via Spectrum), I saw that there was only one ethernet port and this was taken up with my router. Now, on my router there are a number of ethernet ports that are designated as "LAN" ports, but there is only one yellow "WAN" port. Can I plug the Cellspot into one of the LAN ethernet ports on my router, or do I need to buy an ethernet switch or something so that I can more or less multiply the number of WAN ports on my modem? I am completely new to this so any advice will be most appreciated. SyncUp Kids stuck at loading screen

I purchased 5 SyncUp Kids watches for Christmas this year. Kids love them, but yesterday I had a second watch get stuck not getting past the loading screen. I'm not sure what led up to it, but the symptoms seem to appear out of nowhere. The watch doesn't respond to anything. The only thing you can do is hold the button for 20secs or so and it will buzz and hard-reset, then get to the loading screen and sequence the three pink dots on the bottom indefinitely.When the first watch did this I called 611. They seemed very unfamiliar with this product, and appear to have limited ability to troubleshoot anything. Apparently the only way to factory reset these watches is through the settings menu in the interface and in this case it can't get there. They had me go into a store and do a defect exchange (At first they wanted to charge me $5 to file manufacturer warranty and give me a refurbished watch, I refused and insisted on another option. Who charges $5 for a manufacturing defect?) Yesterda

SyncUp & Drive kills batteries/alternator

I recently added the SyncUP & Drive device to my account - we are long-time T-Mobile customers and have not had any problems whatsoever besides this to date. My son was getting his license and I wanted to be able to monitor his driving. The SyncUP device worked like a charm for the first week or two, until the battery started dying nearly every night. This battery had been replaced less than 6 months prior, so there should not have been an issue. I was going on a trip, so I decided to let him drive my SUV while I was out of town since he was having problems with the battery and I wanted him in a more reliable vehicle. I also have a new battery in my vehicle, about one year old and also had my alternator replaced between 2-3 years ago. Well, when I was on my trip my battery started dying and then after a couple of days my son had the vehicle completely stall on him while driving. Sync Drive critical battery

I am an employee of T-mobile. I purchased the sync up drive for my own personal use. During the 2nd week, it kept telling me that my battery was low, and failing. A couple of days later I had to have my alternator replaced which cost me $450.00. Since my issue, i have come across other customers that have returned this device.One customer said she was getting the same battery failing message. Another customer returned her device after she too,had to get her alternator replaced. By no means am I saying the sync up drive is causing this. But I am suggesting that there may be a correlation between these battery issues and the sync up drive device. How do I look into this?

T-Mobile® SyncUP KIDS™ Watch (Sprint)

Hello,Is anyone having issues with the SyncUp Kids Watch 1.5, that is a Sprint customer? I just got my watch today and when I go the app, I created a TMobile ID using my email. When I go to pair the watch, it says “Watch has wrong rate plan. Please contact Customer Care and let our team know your watch has an invalid rate plan.” I have the Unlimited Watch Plan for $15/month. When I called Customer service they switched the plan to the other one, 500mb plan, and it still wasn’t working.We’ve restarted the watch multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I spent hours on the phone with customer service as well the chat sessions. No one has been able to help. They say they have never had this issue, I know that this is the newer version of the watch. Hoping someone is able to help! I’m stuck.

Cell spot interfering with regular wi-fi

I received my cell spot yesterday and plugged it in the way it says to and it seems to be working great. I now have full service where I had almost none before. However, trying to run any apps on my television today seems to be near impossible. They keep coming up with the fact that they are experiencing network issues or are extremely slow and continue to pause to buffer. That is not an issue I've ever had before, so I'm wondering if the cell spot could be interfering in some way with my internet service. If anyone has any feedback on this, I would appreciate it!

T-Mobile Home Internet + Google Nest WiFi

I purchased T-Mobile Home Internet and just set it up. When I plug the Ethernet into my Google Nest WiFi router, it does not work. Does anyone know how to get the T-Mobile Home Internet working with a Google Nest WiFi mesh network?

Suddenly, my son's Kids syncup won't turn on despite charging for hours watch is a 3 months old. I cleaned the charging pins and tried a different charging cable, but it didn't work. Can you exchange this watch?Thank you.

Netgear Nighthawk M1 (MR1100-100NAS) blocked by TMobile?

I have an unlocked Netgear Nighthawk M1 Router I got from Amazon, new.I subscribed to two unlimited data plans, for my two locations of work, one with static IP and the other without.My non-static IP service was originally attached to this router, but a couple of months ago it quit working. By not working I mean the signal is fair to excellent, but it says "mobile broadband disconnected".  Essentially not able to get an external IP address.So as part of troubleshooting, I swapped sim between this router and another and swapped APN config, and both worked.  And them I swapped back, and this router (Netgear M1) wasn't working again.  That's when I knew Tmo blocked this router for fast.tmobile.com APN.So I had to use the static IP sim in this Netgear M1 Router.Now, my static IP sim (b2b.static APN) won't work anymore either, and my subscription line support tells me that the sim is active and working.So my question is:. SyncUp Watch Showing Offline

My kids watch was working fine yesterday and we put it on the charger overnight. This morning we woke up and the app alerted us that the watch was “Offline.” I’ve restarted the watch multiple times but no luck.

why is my hotspot so slow

I called support about my bill being so high a few weeks ago and the rep that help me removed a few things I didn't need, and now my hotspot is so slow it takes forever to load a page on my laptop. I have tried tethering it to see if it is faster but its just as slow. I have tried all the help steps on the help page still nothing. I logged in on my friends boost hotspot and everything loaded instantly. I have tried calling t-mobile support but it just keeps telling me my number can not be found in the system so i cant even speak to anyone. This is just one issues I am having.

SyncUp Drive not working

I bought a SyncUp drive from Tmobile and tried to connect it with my car. But it did not work. I literally tried everything so I just thought it was defective. So I exchanged with a new one. I tried the new one out, plugged it to my car, and still did not connect with my car. The app says “unplugged“ and when I try to connect to the hotspot, it takes me to the website that says “Get Started” but it greys out and says error, “can’t open page”. This is literally the only product from Tmobile that I’m really disappointed. I already talked to many people from support and were no help. I wasted 150 dollars for nothing then. And yes my car is compatible. The only thing that works on this drive is the GPS

Accessing my HotSpot account from web

I got HotSpot and it's working as it's supposed to.Now I want to access my hotsport account online, and when I'm trying creating an account for my hotsport- T-Mobile website says it sent me verification text on my hotspot number (funny, right?). Then I said ok, maybe I don't understand something - and I went to T-Mobile shop to get explanation on how it works. And they said- yeah, you're supposed to get the text. Just take out that SIM card and put it in any phone device and you'll get the text (stupid, isn't it?). I did it, and obviously my phone device didn't receive any verification texts.T-Mobile, can you prove to me you are the best? What kind of service is it???

No internet on T-Mobile Hotspot

I recently purchased a T-Mobile 5G hotspot.  The problem I’m having is, when I turn it on it boots fine but is VERY slow to connect to the internet.  I get at least 3 or more bars (usually 4 or 5) of 5G service, but the checkmark next to the globe stays an X with no internet.  If I power cycle the unit it will sometimes connect right away but not always.  Is this normal?

Unable to create profile on Syncup kids app using iphone

I’m trying to setup my profile on the syncup kids app, but I get an “update profile error” popup that says: “There was an error while updating your profile.  Please try again.”    I tried at least 10 times.   Has anyone encountered this issue?

Can I turn ON and/or OFF my hotspot remotely?

I need this hotspot to allow me to moniter my cabin 300 miles away. I get a good connection from the cell phone tower in view from my cabin. I would like to be able to turn it on when I need to access what ever I have connected to the Wi-Fi .And then turn it. off

syncup kids watch school mode

Hi folks. I got the SyncUP watch for my kiddo yesterday, and I can’t get the school mode schedule to work. I set up a schedule, but it is not following the schedule. It’s randomly turning itself off and on, almost like the time is wrong. Is it a time zone issue? Has anyone run into this? The watch updated last night, so that shouldn’t be the problem.

SyncUP worked and then went offline

This has been real nice in tracking business and pleasure mileage until it went offline .  I got it back online  when I realized this had happened but found it is offline again.  Why is it going offline?  Is this something that is going to happen from  now on?

No home internet when using 4G LTE Cellspot which connects to the wifi modem

, i have the 4g lte cellspot and i connected it to my internet, when i connect my tablet to my wifi it says its offline. is it the cellspot eating up my signal? am not sure how cellspot  works, but how can i use my wifi at home to watch nextflix from my tv or tablet and still have the 4g connected, without using hotspot from my phone to hotspot the tablet or tv, actually using my wifi prior to connectong the cellspot. Also i have to say i have a survelliance system that uses my home wifi, but its no longer working after i connected the 4g cellspot, can i just disconnect the cellspot cablet from the wifi ethernet port when i want to use the internet at home, or would that cause a problem, i ask because i kinda tried to, for a little bit, but *i was still offline when connected my wifi and my phone lagged when loading a page on its regular mobile data, got scared that ive messed it up, so i plugged the ethernet cable from 4g cellspot back into the wifi modem. Any help would be appreciate

SynchUp watch calls not working

My daughter's watch will not make or receive calls. Has anyone else experienced this. It can send/receive texts, but calls fail or when I call her the watch does nothing. Defeats the purpose of even having it. Will be returning of this isn't remedied.
