SMS from short number?

How can children receive text messages from short numbers (such as Nintendo or Google Play verification codes) on SyncUP KIDS Watch if the contacts book does not allow phone numbers other than 10 digits?

contacts show up twice on SyncUP watch

My ex got my daughter a SyncUp watch and added me as a Guardian.  I also got a SyncUp watch for our other daughter and added my ex as a Guardian. On the watch my ex purchased I show up as both “Dad” and “Scott”.  I am only in the contacts once.  She can send a test to both and I receive them both.  It seems to be messing up the watch.  How can we fix that?

SyncUp Watch not receiving inbound texts

I just received my child’s SyncUp watch and am working on setting it up. Noticed that we aren’t receiving inbound text messages. We are able to send text messages though, just not getting any in. Anyone else come across this issue. Is there any troubleshooting steps to fix this? I’ve already tried restarting and I did turn it off and on.Thank you.

SynchUp Kids watch can't send outbound texts

I purchased a SynchUp Kids watch for my child.  It worked fine on the first day but seems to be having issues sending text messages after receiving an update on Jan 25.  All other functions are fine (inbound texts, inbound/outbound calls, GPS, etc.).  After contacting support, they confirmed that it is a known issue, and their technical team is working on it.  They could not give an estimate on when it would be fixed. Anyone else having this issue and vague response from support?  It has been about 3 days since I opened the case.  I’m also a little disappointed that I will need to call back in for updates.  I would think that the support team would at least reach out or be able to provide more information.  I’ve only unfortunately been able to speak with level 1 support who does not have much information.

Tracker and school mode grey out on Synup Kids apps

On Synup Kids apps, I used to be able to toggle “tracker” and “school mode” on and off.  But now I found both buttons grey out and I cannot toggle them.  Can anyone help?

Why is it that when you add a guardian to the sync up kids watch they can do everything but add contacts? Is there a way to change this? And if not how do you go about changing the admin?

Adding a wireless printer to T-Mobile network

The T-Mobile tech was very helpful, but our Cannon printer would not connect to the router. After hanging up, we went into printer settings on the printer and it finally gave the option to enter the network password. Our Tech was very patient and she actually resolved our problem even though we were not online with her. She did an excellent job!

SyncUP worked and then went offline

This has been real nice in tracking business and pleasure mileage until it went offline .  I got it back online  when I realized this had happened but found it is offline again.  Why is it going offline?  Is this something that is going to happen from  now on?

Cannon pixma mg7520

Our T-Mobile tech had us ad printer under my admin account and the Cannon mg7520 would not connect until we added the T-Mobile network password directly on the printer?

More device information via admin console

Other admin consoles display specifics about devices attached to the wifi like ip address, device type (if avaialble) and status.  When  you click on the attached device icon on the T Mobile admin page, you get nothing.  the mobile version of the admin app does display ip address of attached devices but that is it. Leaves you having to use the ‘Columbus’ approach to find which device is assigned with the ip address.

SyncUp & Drive kills batteries/alternator

I recently added the SyncUP & Drive device to my account - we are long-time T-Mobile customers and have not had any problems whatsoever besides this to date. My son was getting his license and I wanted to be able to monitor his driving. The SyncUP device worked like a charm for the first week or two, until the battery started dying nearly every night. This battery had been replaced less than 6 months prior, so there should not have been an issue. I was going on a trip, so I decided to let him drive my SUV while I was out of town since he was having problems with the battery and I wanted him in a more reliable vehicle. I also have a new battery in my vehicle, about one year old and also had my alternator replaced between 2-3 years ago. Well, when I was on my trip my battery started dying and then after a couple of days my son had the vehicle completely stall on him while driving. This device not only killed my battery, but my alternator! Fortunately, the batteries were both still un

Gateway loses tower connection, (internet) after reboot or power outage.

I have to factory reset and configure the gateway every time there is a power outage and or if I reboot the device.  The local network remains but the gateway does not reconnect to the tmobile cell tower. Ready to quit service because of this.

Migrating sync-up line to apple watch??

My child has a sync-up kids watch.  I would like to switch them to an apple watch.  Can I switch the line or does this need to be terminated and the new line set-up?

Does T-Mobile CellSpot work with Mint Mobile?

My neighborhood has T-Mobile coverage, but it is very poor.  I am currently a Verizon customer who plans to switch to Mint Mobile, and I want to get a T-Mobile CellSpot I can connect to the LAN at my house.  Can I expect my Mint Mobile service to be compatible with the T-Mobile CellSpot? Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this?  Will it work?

SyncUP driver behavior & Insurance Carriers

When I first used SyncUp it showed "driving behavior" like starting/stopping fast, etc.  But since then I can't find it on the app anymore. Where can I find it or did the app get updated and it got removed?Secondly, can you use SyncUp to get discounts with auto insurers including Progressive?

Clear DTC Codes/Check Engine light thru SyncUp

Is it possible to reset the Check Engine light on the car thru the SyncUp device ?   I have fixed the problem and need to clear the codes to make sure they dont come back. If so, how do I do it ?

Syncup Kids App Crashing with Pixel 8 Pro

Hi,I recently purchased a Pixel 8 Pro and the sync Up kids app crashes as soon as I log in. I allowed all permissions and it still crashes.My pixel 7 worked with no issues. Currently, my wife's phone works with no issues.Will there be an update to fix incompatibility with the Pixel 8 Pro?Thank you.

sync up kids watch getting stuck on start/boot up screen

My child’s sync up watch is about 1.5 years old now, and had been working fine until the last week. It turned itself off, and now when I try to turn back on (I have to hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds to turn on, otherwise it does nothing) I get this screen 75% of the time (see attached pic). If it does get to the loading screen, it gets stuck there and I end up just having to reboot it again. Any tips/tricks or is this watch done for? thanks!

Sync Up kids watch not charging at 4 month mark

Just really annoyed that my kids Sync Up watch is not charging for the last two days. It is on the cradle, being hooked to a charger for the last two days and the watch still says low charge and wont budge from that message. What can I do at this point? I have tried two different cable and charger.
