Cancel Prepaid- Switch off AutoPay?

Hi,My prepaid balance has been paid off until 15th January, 2020. I want to cancel my prepaid account now. Since T-Mobile does not offer any refund on Prepaid services, I just disabled the AutoPay option. Couple of questions:- Does this mean that as of 15th January, my Prepaid Account will be cancelled automatically?- Is there anything else I need to do now.Thanks.

Trade-in Value amount different?

Decided to do the 5G promotion trade in.  Went through all the steps and got offered the $415 for an iPhone 8+.  Received all the documents, and at the bottom it says the following:Does this mean the trade in will only be $100, instead of the $415?  Somewhat confusing.

Verification Text

Hello,So it seems like I have alot of problems getting verification texts from apps and services when I am trying to confirm my phone number.Just 2 examples that I have run into recently is Paypal and Waze.If anyone has any idea why this is happening to my phone and no one else on the account that be greatJust for reference I am using a Galaxy S8 Active

Unable to get Verification Texts

Many apps require sending a verification text for two-factor authentication.  After moving to a new phone, I am no longer receiving these for many apps.  T-mobiles 2 factor code comes through, but FanDuel and Robinhood for example, no longer do.

Updated credit card for new phone, order still on hold.

My new phone order says kept on hold even after updating credit card information and being successfully charged. The phone rep says it's clear on their end but takes 72 hours to show on my end. Is that true, and why would it take 72 hours to show up on my end?The last card I tried was the same one I use to pay my bill. When I called Chase they said T-Mobile kept trying the wrong number. I told them I repeated it back to them several times and they repeated it back to me, and that I had done it online myself. They tried to say all of us put the information in wrong. Whatever. I used a different card, also with enough money and that got denied, too. I called today and used the original card and that went through, charged my account, but it's still on hold. Why would I have to wait 72 hours? That make no sense. They said it takes the system 72 hours to update. But it updates immediately on their end. How does that make any sense? If I owed them money what if I said "I sent the money today

Phones not working

I can't make or receive call telling me I'm being redirected to T-mobile. Why?  My bill isn't not behind. We can't connect to anything and own Tmobile account isn't telling me anything.

More than one authorized user

It is exceptionally frustrating to not be able to make changes on an account where I am the owner. My husband and I are on the account. As well as our children. There is absolutely NO reason we can not have 2 authorized people On the account. Every single time I need to make changes on the account I have to have a code sent to my husbands phone, call him at work, then make the changes. No matter how much or often we have told you guys there are two full fledged adults on the line. We don’t need or want your protection from ourselves. Please change this. We have called numerous times on this issue. Each time being ”warned” that this other authorized user can make changes to the account. Then asking if we are absolutely SURE we want this? Of course we are sure. Then they say they have changed it. Then you try to do something and nope. Not an authorized user. So annoying. Just let people decide for themselves what kind of security they want. I’d prefer to never have to be sent a code...au

International charge 500$ from my account

i joined t-mobile couple of months back as i'm new to this country. I don't know the rules how exactly the billing works here. I'm charge for international charge 500$ i explained my situation to one of their associate, they told me that as concern they can waive of this bill once it got generated and he told me to call to them to make sure after couple of weeks. I called them today they are saying like that is charge you need to pay i talk to different associates in Richmond area but nothing they did. Likewise same thing happen to my friend in AT&T they wave the full amount of 300$ from their account.My suggestion is if you are new to this country please don't prefer this network they will charge you more forget about customer experience they want to charge the money that's the prime motto.

first responder verification

Wondering if anyone else in the t mobile land is getting asked to reverify their first responder status every month?  i switched from verizon and only send verification once a year.  i can say doin it every month is getting old.  Doing the chat with t mobile seems pointless.  they just send the  company link saying we have the discount and click here to start. On 1-14 I spent about hour with nice lady about going thru the whole process and she saw that it was verified, but today, text message that u need to verify status again.

T-Mobile won't release our phone numbers

After switching from Sprint to T-Mobile, our service was terrible so we went to another carrier.  Now T-Mobile won’t release our phone numbers that we’ve had for 20 years.  3-way calls with the new carrier, T-Mobile & ourselves and T-Mobile says they don’t receive the porting requests, and won’t do anything to help us.  We’re talking with a foreign call center that completely doesn’t care and doesn’t understand what we need.  T-Mobile says they’ll escalate the matter and call us back and then they never do.  WTH is the problem with this company?!?

Magenta 1.0 to current Magenta plan switch

When I am in the app or online via web page it shows that if I switch from the Magenta 1.0 plan that I am currently on to the now available Magenta plan that my monthly ratewill go down $20 a month. Every time I try to make the change it says something like, “Oops, try again later or contact T-Mobile”. I talked to someone about a month ago who was very helpful but could not replicate this on her end. I have tried to use the chat which crashes anytime I try to upload an attachment of what I am seeing. How can I get this reduced rate applied that T-Mobile’s own web page and app is showing as available?

Oops we hit a snag/upgrade online

I’ve been trying to upgrade my phone online for several weeks, but the system keeps popping up the “OOPS! WE HIT A SNAG” dialog box. I don’t want to go into a store to purchase my phone because they want more money than what the price is listed online due to “help” fees. I just want to get a new phone. Has anyone else been having this issue?Also, why doesn’t T-Mobile have an online service desk? Get with the times.

Feature Request: Configure 2FA Options Available

I would like to request a feature given that Google Authenticator is available as an option for two-factor authentication. Right now, when I log in, I’m given three options for 2FA:SMS Google Authenticator EmailAs it stands right now, enabling Google Authenticator provides no additional security if SMS can be selected as an option. Given the potential risks of SIM swapping, SMS as a form of 2FA is useless. Users should have the ability to turn off SMS as a form of 2FA, especially if Google Authenticator is enabled.

How to package old phone for trade-in

TLDR; when trading in your phone through the mail, are you supposed to receive a trade-in kit in the mail seperately to send your old phone in? Or do you have to go in the store and ask them to do it for you? So I’m supposed to send in my old phone as part of the trade-in process, and I’m confused on how to send them my old phone? I’ve received the new phone...and when I made the arrangements in store they said I should receive a separate box to mail in my old phone with all the information on how to do it inside, but I’ve yet to receive it, and it’s been about 5 days since the order was made, 3 days since having the phone they sent me.I looked at the shipping label on my order status and I scanned the code to either schedule a pick up or go to the post office- If I go to the post office will they package it for me? Is it similar to like an Amazon return or do I have to package it myself?I honestly feel like the answer is so simple and for some reason it’s just going right over my head
