Netflix downgrade

Hey Netflix, “You currently have Netflix ON US included in your plan. Netflix recently updated their subscription tiers, you’ll now receive Netflix Standard with ads, providing more features and benefits to you. This benefit will continue to be ON US ($0). There is nothing you need to do. This change will take effect between January 25 and February 1.” How is changing my subscription from “no ads” to “includes ads” “providing more features and benefits to you”?

1/25/2024 Hulu on us text message with link not working!

Just received my NEW “hulu on us” SMS and the link to claim the offer does not work. Anyone else experiencing this?Phone Arena says there are issues. Hopefully T-Mobile backend and they fix it soon!T-Mobile subscribers having issues claiming their free "Hulu On Us" perk - PhoneArena

netflix update

Adding 2 screens, 1080p streaming but with ads is a major downgrade from 1 screen, 720p without ads. Adding ads makes it a complete worthless benefit because I won’t use it. So t-mobile is just actively making their service worse.

T-Mobile provided Hulu - can users pay gor no ads?

On 1/24/24 T-Mobile will add the ADs Included tier to some of its packages.  Question:  can T-Mobile subscribers accept the free tier and then pay for the upgrade for no ads?

Apple TV - Not working

I am not able to use Apple TV On-Us even though it says I am active on my account.  I had customer service people helping me on two different occasions and they all said I should wait 24 hours for a special link to be sent and will call me to make sure all that crap but still not resolved.   Anybody else had similar problems or know how to get it easily resolved?

Spotify doesn’t load using data, how do I fix this?

(I’m unsure if I selected the correct sub forum for this topic but here goes…) I’m not sure if this a problem on Spotify’s end and if I should be crying to them instead, but for some odd reason, when I try to load the Spotify app using my T-Mobile cellular data, nothing loads and I can only play songs that are cached. Sometimes it even says I’m offline when I have a few bars. Is this something that has to do with the music unlimited stuff on my plan? Any fix? Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Rec'd the 01/04/24 text announcement that Free Hulu was coming on Jan 25th and a second text 01/26/26 with the link to add it. The link didn't work. Called & they sent another link that didn't work! Was told I didn't qualify. When I sent them a copy of the terms, see below, which states needing to have 2 Go5G Plus OR 2 Magenta Max. We have 2 Magenta Max plans but they're M.M. 55 plans so according to cust service, I  don't qualify.Why do they send a text to add Hulu if it doesn't even apply? SOOO DISAPPOINTING! On top of that, when I followed the first link, it signed me up for a paid Hulu subscription and I had to call and cancel! T-Mobile, get your act together!

Now we get the "benefit" of watching Netflix ads? great...

Got the notification that Netflix plans will change at the end of the month with many new great “features” like advertisements. No thanks. I'd rather give less money to T-Mobile and get no Netflix.

Home internet

Does anne else have problems with there home internet saying that it has excellent signal but it has no signal or weak signal and it always buffering when I'm watching a movie on Paramount or it says that I have no internet connection but showing excellent signal .I switched from spectrum because of there bull shit ways with my bill and crappy CS but I didn't want to go from that to this. I've done everything that they suggested on moving in to a different spot but still not getting the same service I had if I knew this I would have gone to a different company all together but since I've been with TMobile for 18 years I thought that it was the right choice but now I'm not sure

I have a regular television with a cable subscription.  I also have free Apple TV+ as a benefit of my T-Mobile subscription.  How can I watch Apple TV+ on my regular TV?

Is anyone unable to sign into their free Hulu accout?

We tried to watch Hulu tonight, which is supposed to be free for a year. We were greeted by a MyDisney splash screen telling us to sign in. It stated that if we didn't already have a MyDisney account, we would be prompted to create one. It would  ot accept my email as valid, then invited us to sign up at full price.So it looks like Disney bought Hulu. Does this mean that our free year of Hulu won't be honored?

What is the cost of the Philo promotion?

Philo costs $25 per month. I signed up for Philo through the T-Mobile discount offering $10 off per month for 12 months of the service, but I am being billed $16.98 per month. I’m not a math wizard, but that seems more like 8 bucks off, not 10. Am I missing something?

I’m glad they are adding Hulu. Great idea but downgrading our Netflix to ad based version is BS!! We’re getting ad version of Hulu. One should stay ad based and the other no ads!!! We all need to stand against this capitalism and threaten to leave for changing or Netflix!!

Can I get Apple TV with a phantom iPhone?

So I tried to get the Apple TV deal but don’t have an iPhone. so they said I don’t qualify.T-Mobile thinks one of my new phones is an iphone 12 (it is an S24 Ultra), so for the purpose of Apple TV on us, I have an iPhone. Does Apple TV work on an android phone?

Feedback for T-Mobile: Reducing benefits

It seems that every time I accept an offer from T-Mobile, the company goes back on it just a little after. I find that very frustrating. Last example: We updated our contract and phones, and it appeared to be a good deal, one factor being that the plan included Netflix. Not two month later, I receive a message from T-Mobile that from now on only Netflix with Ads is included - a downgrade worth roughly $100/year. Yes,  in exchange there is a free year of Hulu, but I really don’t care about that. And also, yes, T-Mobile always said that benefits could change. Unfortunately, this is not the first time something like this happens to me with T-Mobile.In aggregate, the impression I get increasingly is that T-Mobile’s word in its special offers and deals really is not worth much. This is very disappointing.

Apple TV + Verification Code

I've tried numerous times to activate my Apple TV + and I never get the verification code to activate. I go through the add-on in T-Mobile website under my account and it generates a redirect to log into Apple TV. When I do stream now, it asks for my phone number and I never receive a confirm code. Apple support says it's a T-Mobile issue and T-Mobile says I need to cancel my subscription subscription. I do have an apple tv account BUT do NOT have an Apple TV + subscription. How do I get past this as both Companies are completely useless.  I even created a new Apple TV account and it is the same issue with an existing account that does NOT have the plus subscription. Any help would be appreciated.

Trouble creating MLB account

Hey! TMobile is giving away free MLB access.  The catch is that you have to register by April 2nd. I keep trying to create accounts on MLB (have tried multiple browsers and my IOS and it’s showing errors.  Has anyone found a work-around?

No Free Lunch

Do people really think the T-Mobile streaming benefits are FREE? They are built into the price of your monthly service, and if you like that particular service, great. But now that Netflix had downgraded its plans to include advertising, and more importantly, to lock out certain movies and shows on the Standard w/ads plan, why won’t T-Mobile give us a credit for the $6.99 cost we’ve been paying all along, so we can use that to get HBO, or one of the other services we like better? Otherwise, I will be switching providers to the one that installed a 5G tower next to my house and offers a bundled 5G internet and two line wireless deal that leaves a lot of money in my pocket.
